We pay them for a service contract, and they come out and service them after 6 months.

My experience with Daffan Mechanical Inc has been very good. The service was free because we had just bought a new air conditioner from them. We only moved into this house a year and a half ago. There was no comparison in the pricing.

It was an outstanding experience. I do my air conditioning and heating twice a year. The $160 covers the two visits on the service agreement I have with them. I haven't dealt with anybody else. They installed the system in 2002. When I bought the house, I just stayed with them.

We had issues with one of the ac units, and the gentleman had to go through the attic and do stuff without a problem. He was very polite about it.When I worked with them a few years back, I compared their prices with other companies, and they were better.

Perfectly. Tech arrived on time, did his work. Did not needlessly change out parts. Offered suggestions for the future on a 14 year old heat pump. No pressure for sale. I ordered a tech and got a tech, not a salesman as I have gotten from other HVAC companies.

Daffan was great. The Technician was very punctual, descriptive, and thorough. He told me the problems that I was having with my system, less expensive and more expensive alternatives to fix my issues. All in all, a very trustworthy company to work with....they will be out again when work needs to be done.

Our experience left us feeling we had been part of a scam. They 1st technician supposedly fixed our a/c with $500 in parts and left without checking to see if it was working properly. He left immediately after supposedly replacing the capacitor and relay. He didn't even check to see if it was cooling. After 15 minutes I called back to tell them it was not cooling so they sent in the "Senior" technician who finds out that it is now suddenly our compressor that is shorted to ground. We were looking at thousands of dollars to replace it or just get a whole new unit if we were going to spend that kind of money. In hindsight the first technician (very young) acted very defensive when I asked him some questions and he stated he'd been doing this a long time. We will never know what happened or why suddenly our compressor was now needing replaced but we have our suspicions. I do not recommend. After talking to other people, I have heard similar experiences that they've had with Daffan.

Rudy was very professional and explained all that he found. He took his time and did not appear to be in a hurry to go to the next job. This is Texas and in the middle of July and that tells you it is HOT outside.

I called Daffen about 12:30 p.m. They were very professional on the telephone. I told her my problem. She told me she could have a serviceman here between 1:00 and 6:00 p.m. Josh called about 3:20 and told me he was on his way. He arrived about 3:35. I had the A/C turned off so he turned it on. He went out to his truck to get his tools. I followed him out. As he was getting his tools, he heard a noise that the A/C was making. He rushed over, opened the box and turned it off. He said I think your problem is the compacitor.. He opened the unit and pulled out the compacitor nd said yes, that's it. . He showed me the part and how it was bowed at one end where it should be flat. He told me the price of the part and went to the his truck to get a new part. He replaced it, came in. I gave him the check and he was on his way. It only took him about 15 minutes from start to finish. I was impressed. He did not try to sell me any other services. Daffen is definitely my Heat and A/C company from now on.

Our Mitsubishi Electric A/C went out on July 3. Daffan came out on July 6 and said we needed a new circuit board. They ordered that day. We asked them to overnight or rush delivery the item as we had already been without air for 3 days in Texas heat. They told us that it would be 2-5 days before it could get here and there were no other options. On July 9, after Daffan was unable to provide us with any form of tracking information, we contacted Mitsubishi. They told us that the part could’ve been overnighted. Daffan just didn’t order it that way. We didn’t receive the part until 4:30pm on July 13. We got someone else to install it.

Service calls were prompt and reliable.

The entire experience, from making the appointment to paying for the service was enjoyable. I called late Monday afternoon and received an appointment for Wednesday morning. The service man called at 0800 and arrived at 0830. He was a very plesant young man and pointed out discounts for which I was eligible. He checked out everything, including a thermostat that I had installed myself. He worked for two hours at the advertised flat rate. He will come again in October to check out the heating cycle.

They're polite and efficient! They are very honest as well. They're outstanding, and we actually have been using the same technician for a while. They're receptionist is very well informed and professional.

We had a $13,000 unit put in last summer by another Company and they sub contracted Daffan Mechanical Inc to do the maintenance. It has a 10year guarantee on it and we have not had any problem with it. It's got all the bells and whistles and everything on it. They did an extremely good job in putting it in. But I don't know what is going on the heater was not working this morning. I get it serviced and maintained twice a year. They know this is a vacation home so we get a call every six months reminding us that it is time for service. They come right on time and they never been late. They have been very good. We have very good experience with them. They are reliable; they reasonable on their rates, and so far we have had no problem with them. The only experience we have had with them is for maintenance and they have been here 3 times so that is a year and half. I would use them in the future

The job went well. We bought a new air conditioning and heat pump.

We did go around with the contract. In the winter, the heating system stopped so I had no heat and then the company that did the air conditioner was on vacation. Daffan had to pay extra to get the company to work during the holiday to finish the work. They shipped the unit to Dallas and Daffan had to go and pick it up and not wait on the local transit. I just don't feel the unit is being very efficient. The unit does cool and heat but the energy efficiency I don't feel I have seen any results.

They are professional, and will not try to sell you anything that you do not need. They are concerned about safety and in the winter will check your carbon monoxide levels. Their prices are reasonable. They even gave me a rebate for the service, which I wasn't aware was being offered. They are quick to respond and will come when they say they will.

It was a muddy day, and they were very cautious and kept my house clean. They also didn't try to sell me a service contract and told me I was using a good company to currently service my air conditioner. A rebate from Tri-County Electric Coop reimbursed us for the charge.

Everything went great, the sales rep. came, while here, he measured the house, inspected the air conditioner and heating unit, got up into the attic and inspected the air ducts and the insulation, he spent a lot of time looking, measuring, and talking to my wife and I and explaining about the new system. He was in no hurry to "get away", he was willing to spend as much time as necessary to be sure we understood everything. I told him was going to get more estimates, he even gave us other names, and they were top companies, not someone he thought they could beat out. I called the companies, one did not return the call, the other one came over, looked at the units, ask me about the air ducts, as if I would know, he did not go into the attic to look at them, he was here about 25 minutes. I called Daffan, I must say the people answering the phone were very courteous and nice, and helpful. We set up a date for them to come out, they come, it was a cold day, Dec. 2nd, but the two guys worked all day putting in the new units, when they were though, they cleaned up everything, did exactly what was said we would need, then took the time to explain the system and how to operate it, especially the new thermostat. About a week later, a lady called and asked how everything went, she was really interested if we were satisfied and happy with our new units. I told here I was 100% happy. They are also scheduling a return to check out how the unit is doing and if we are still satisfied or have any other questions. It has been two weeks since the installation and I am very satisfied. I had not heard of this company until a friend told me about them, and now and at this time, I am very glad I called them.
