I talked to Eric first thing in the morning and he had a crew make the repairs the same day. This is the second time I have hired this company to fix a problem at 2 different houses. I highly recommend them!!!

Went well overall, just took longer than I wanted it to (of course).

The person answered did not seem interested in coming out as it would "take a lot of time" to get the permits required by our city. I asked questions and kept getting one word answers with no suggestions or an offer to help. He said he knew that it would cost at least $800 and never asked if he could schedule us. I finally gave up. I understood that it would cost a lot and knew it was something we needed to do, but I guess they did not want the hassle. Called Andy's Sprinkler Repairs and they immediately started trying to schedule us and walked me through what would have to be done. They gave me a not to exceed # of $600.

Great, they were prompt and fixed my system.

We spent a couple thousand dollars on that service. He did what he said he would and did when he said he would do it, which is unusual for a sprinkler company. We would tell others that he was reliable and he did a good job and we felt comfortable using him because he came through the list. His was expensive, compared to what we had, except when he left it worked, so I would say there was value for the service.

He repaired the leak and then checked my entire irrigation system for leaks or bad spots and fixed them as well. He is terrific and I would recommend him.

One minor caveat. I like to observe repairs on my property. Part curiousity and part want to be sure that the work is done correctly to the best of my ability. While I was observing Eric and his assistant, Eric was a bit on the talkative side, while his assistant did most of the work. This did not bother me much as the work he was doing was on a flat rate basis. He offered to do some other work on an hourly basis. If I have him come back for that other work, I will be sure to leave him alone to get his work done so that he is working and not talking on my dime so to speak. The work was done well, cleanup was great and Eric is actually a very friendly person. I would highly recommend this crew to others

They were professional and knowledgeable. They were easy to work with and did a thorough job.

I had several sprinklers that needed repair. The service was punctual and professional. They kept it simple and made good recommendations for how to use it during the winter. They were efficient and reasonably priced. The only feedback would be to clean up the mud better afteward on the steps that were left when they had to dig up the yard to repair a leak. All in all, great and swift service.

After spending 20 minutes on the phone with Eric, we arranged for him to come to my home the next day to troubleshoot our lawn sprinkler system. He mentioned that he doesn't set appointment times, but prefers to call 30 minutes before he shows up. Well the next day, I called him to ask him to narrow his arrival time, but he could not. I told him I needed to leave home and would be back by a certain time. His reply was, "Whatever. It doesn't matter to me." A little to cavalier for my tastes, so I called him back and told him I would be hiring someone else.

Excellent experience. Eric returned my call promptly and actually had a crew at my house that day to repair the system.

I located Eric on Angie's List and since I live close to Garland I decided to try to get him to come out to my house that same day. I called and explained the problem to Eric, so he said he could come over that afternoon, it was on Valentine's Day too, and look at the heads and the box. He came over within 2 hours and was able to replace several sprinkler heads as well as replace the control box and add a rain sensor to my system. He was very easy to talk with and explained everything he was going to do and then he did it. I would definitely call him again and will recommend him to my friends.

Eric and his crew spent roughly 3 hours updating all of my sprinkler heads and making sure they were covering the yard as efficiently as possible. This was made extra difficult by the fact that the system was poorly installed in the first place, approximately 20 years ago. The controller was located on the outer wall of the house and was missing some of the necessary pins for programming. A new, user friendly controller has now been installed in the garage and I was given a quick tutorial in how to operate it. Eric also made some suggestions to overall changes in system, as well as to landscaping, as a more long term improvement project. I feel much much more comfortable about the condition of my sprinkler system heading into the long, hot Texas summer.

Eric and his team could have easily told me I needed extensive repair to get my system back in shape, and I wouldn't not have argued, but after only an hour and a half and some parts, he had the entire system working 100%, and I couldn't believe how cheaply. I'll use these guys from now on.

My irrigation system was not working. I had no idea what was wrong. I called Eric, the owner of Rainmaker and he was very friendly. Took time to talk to me about all possible causes of a non-working system. He told me his hourly rate, and scheduled to come to my home the next day. He and his two assistants showed up on time and immediately started investigating. Eric communicated every step of the way on what he was finding with the system. It was not one single problem, but a multitude on problems. He used various electronic equipment to identify problems. When he found a problem he would show me and explain what was wrong, and what needed to be done to fix it. Eric, his knowledgeable assistant, and a helper worked 6 hours and found all of my problems. In the end, my old, worn out sprinkler systems works!

My experience with both Rainmaker Sprinkler and Eric were great. Not only was his diagnosis over the phone right on the money, but I was also not charged anymore than what he had quoted me. The repair went smoothly and they were in and out of there within an hour and that included cleaning up after they were finished. I have had companies out before who after they finished my yard looked horrible. I would defintely use Rainmaker Sprinkler again and will refer my friends and family to him. Good Job!!
