They were great! Came up with a creative solution and sourced some hard-to-find equipment that allowed them to install the cable without destroying my yard and killing several trees!

It went very well. He got right to it, was professional, and finished the work in record time. I have no problems with the work he has done. He was also easy to get in touch with and showed up on time.

I called because my AC and stove power was out and the lights were flickering. The electrician that answered the telephone said it sounded like a CenterPoint Energy problem outside the house. He even gave me the telephone number and information on what to tell the person at CenterPoint. CenterPoint was came out within 2 hours and fixed the problem. If it wasn't for Residential Services, Inc. suggestion, I'd be paying for an electrician to come out. Kuddo's to Residential Services, Inc.!!!!!! I'll definitely use you in the future!! It's nice to find a company that helps the customer and not just trying to make a buck! Again, Thank you!!!

Came on time, prepared to work. courteous, clean, and new there stuff. It is a family run business. They installed 3 ceiling fans, had some difficulty, but got through it. Had to change the circuitry on all three because they are remote control and they were all working on the same circuit. Fixed the problem and moved on. The installation of the 220 line is neat and clean. They did a superb job. I couldn't ask for better work. Yes, I will hire them again and refer them.

This is the 2nd job I've hired Billy and his crew to do and I couldn't be happier with all the work they've done! The first job was to update/replace my entire breaker box, and Billy personally came out to oversee the project. When a possible snag came up about getting the city to come out and certify the work, Billy assured me not to worry and that he would get everything taken care of on schedule...and he did! Being very pleased with that project, I hired him for this wiring/install and got the same excellent service again. He is now our go-to electrician! The crew that came out for this job were incredibly polite, professional, and punctual. They were scheduled to be there at 8:00am, they showed up at about 7:45am and waited politely in their truck until 8:00 to come knock on our door, giving my wife and I time to finish getting ready for work, instead of coming in before we were ready. They also showed up on time/slightly early for the previous job. They were very quick, efficient, and adaptable to structural challenges our house posed. Anytime a change needed to made in the original plan (i.e., moving the location of the exhaust fan due to plumbing in the attic) they would clear everything by us before they started any work in that location. They even agreed to install the ductwork for our exhaust fan and put together our ceiling fans at no additional cost (we just had to provide the materials)! Our spare bedrooms now have light/ceiling fan fixtures and our bathroom now has an exhaust fan, and they all look great! Billy is also very responsive and easy to communicate with. He uses text and email a lot, which I prefer since it is sometimes difficult to take a phone call while at work, and would always respond to me within 24 hrs. He is also a great businessman, offering us a reduction in the price of the work due to an unexpected reschedule. Everything worked out great, and at a great price! I really feel the price is right with these guys because they are worth every penny! I will certainly be recommending them to anyone looking for a good electrician!

Installed light and outlet running new wires in newly built closet. Converted existing wall switch to ceiling fan and ran new wires to center of room for the install. Installed fan and replaced all drywall removed during install. Replaced doorbell cover. Larry and Brian worked hard and were very responsive to all my questions. They came in lower than estimate which is always appreciated. Highly recommended.

What a terrific professional! Billy was exactly on time for the estimate and the work. He was able to schedule my work (non-emergency) for two days after the estimate. He and his assistant worked on different parts of my job to get everything done efficiently. His assistant assembled the two ceiling fans while Billy checked the breaker box and fixed the damaged ground wire. Billy showed me the problems he found before fixing them and made sure I understood what I saw. The ceiling fan boxes weren't in code. Billy showed me the differences between the old and new boxes. He also showed me the low voltage grounding connector that he had to install. At the end, he insisted on giving me my Angie's List discount even though I had forgotten he offered one. He's now the only electrician I will call. On time service, efficient work, no extra charges, and a sensitivity to my budget. What else can you want?

Professional experience overall

The only problem with this co. is that I had sent a list of services I needed. The biggest one was a telephone jack. I was not told they did not provide that service until the tech. was here.

Billy showed up on time and got started right away. He soon determined that we had a cut wire somewhere and would need to determine where in the wall that was. He noticed a patch job next to the junction box that our light fixture was in and guessed that there was an old junction box behind the drywall. He was right and that was where the issue was. It turns out that the previous home owner hadn't used the correct wire nuts to make the connections. Billy and his apprentice pulled out both junction boxes and put in a new box and made the correct connections. We have two GFIC's that also lost power, Billy determined that too small of a gauge of wire was pulled to the GFIC's. He suggested a smaller amp breaker for those outlets, but closed off the outlets while my husband and I make decisions about having our old Federal Electric box replaced. Another important detail is that they cleaned up after themselves (I heard Billy telling his apprentice to make sure it looked like they were never there). I was very happy with Residential Electric Services and I will use them in the future.

Guys were exactly on time, professional, worked efficiently. All around excellent job. Will definitely use them again.

I have not had the service yet as I had to get other work completed prior to the electrical but bought the deal when I did due to the price. Residential Electrical Services have been great about staying in contact with me about scheduling the work.

Installation of bathroom lights and various other fixes and trouble areas were checked. He was very helpful with any questions and did not try to sell other services though now I will call him for any other need.

After replacing a halogen back porch light bulb for the umteenth time, I called Residential Electrical to see if they could fix the fixture and/or switch. I called and talked to Billy about what I wanted. When I mentioned it was a halogen bulb, he suggested I get a new light fixture and they would come out Monday to install the new fixture for me - halogen bulb fixtures tend to burn out over time. He felt it was probably the fixture that was bad and rather than charge me for a service call today, and another on Monday, that I wait until Monday to replace the fixture. I immediately went out and purchased a new LED flood light and called Billy back to ask if there was any chance they could come today to install the new fixture. He said he had a crew in the area that was just leaving a previous job and they could be there is about 20 minutes. 10 minutes later Larry knocked on the door and asked what he could do to help. I explained what I needed and he and his helper went and looked at the old fixture and the new one. Turned out that I also needed a different junction box to hold the new fixture and said he would run out to get one and be back in a few minutes. 3 - 4 minutes later Larry was back, explaining that he found he had one on the truck. Larry and his helper went to work right away, removing the old fixture, installing the new one, and checking that everything was working correctly. They were finished in about 15 minutes. They then asked me to check what they had done to make sure I was satisfied with the work. They even focused the two new lights to cover the door area and the porch. They were very professional and thorough and asked if I wanted to keep the old fixture or have them discard it.

Outstanding. Provider showed up within 2 hours of my initial telephone call, quickly and professionally diagnosed the problem, and made the repair, all within the estimate he provided over the phone. I will definitely call Residential Electrical Services the next time I have electrical problems or need electrical work done.

Installed a new light fixture outside my front door, repaired a ceiling fan, replaced an outside outlet and explained how to rest them. Checked my fuse box and looked in attic for possible added lighting fixtures in the bathrooms.

They replaced kitchen lights.....replaced and installed new lights in living room....vaulted ceiling (13 ft) plus fixed ceiling fan problem in my office. THese guys are wonderful...would highly recommend them. Top notch A+++

Residential Electricial Services replaced 3 existing light fixtures with upgraded fixtures. In addition, a new ceiling fixture was wired and installed. This included installing a new wall switch. The work was completed in a professional manner. There was a slight problem which was addressed and fixed to my satisfaction. I would do business with this company again.

My first contact was with Billy, he was very courteous and helpful. He worked us into an already busy schedule right away. Brian and a helper arrived at my home on time and ready to get started. Brian and his helper were very professional and friendly. They answered all my questions and did a very thorough job. I am very pleased with their service.

Everything went without a hitch. They walked me through everything they're about to do so I would have a better understanding of what was happening. They even provided a generator so the food in the freezer and refrigerator wouldn't spoil while they made the repairs. Afterwards they ran a check on all the circuits and labeled the box. Very professional and family orientated.

They had to go up into the attic to fix our wiring. They did a good job.

He was very efficient and professional in his work. He discovered a major electrical issue, that was considered a fire hazard at the fault of the prior electrical service company. He called them out to correct the issue immediately as well as stayed behind to confirm that the hazardous problem had been resolved.

Reliant had to remove the meter so they could do their work. They set everything up. Did the work quickly. Excellent work and the bill was $70.00 less than their estimate. Will definatly use them again.
