Diamond Fence & Concrete

I joined Angie's List specifically to find a Fence Contractor. I selected 3 companies from the list for my area. All three took my call, but only two showed up to give me an estimate for the job. Both were priced very close to each other, with Diamond being the most competitive. Cost, however was not the deciding factor. Richard Greco with Diamond impressed me with his knowledge and most of all with his enthusasiam about working with me. The other company just didn't really seem to care if he got the job or not. Richard kept every follow-up commitment he made. While the job was being performed, he had personal oversight to insure it was being done to his and my satisfaction. The workers were professional and experienced. Richard came up with an idea for a decorative patio fence that is an enhancement to my patio area and provides additional security. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Richard and Diamond Fence & Concrete to anyone who asks.

Diamond Fence and Concrete did an excellent job installing our cedar fence. The contractors were great and the fence looks awesome. They cleaned up the job site as expected. They told me they were going to install a quality fence that my wife and I would love and they were right. We received multiple quotes and this team was the best at getting back with us and also the most professional. I got the feeling right away that we were going to get a quality product. They completed the work in two days while I was at work and everything went smoothly. We needed to make one minor adjustment to one of the gates and there was no issue with follow up. Mike was our sales guy and he was easy to communicate with and he got right down to business. We stained the fence ourselves and we are very happy with our decision to use Diamond Fence. I definitely recommend them for their professional and for a quality fence installation.

What an incredible job! The project consisted of replacing approximately 125 feet of privacy fencing that had been destroyed in the April 2012 Tornado. After calling serveral contractors for pricing, this company offered the lowest priced for the same type of materials and service. I went with cedar planking and metal posts for longevity purposes. Once we agreed on the pricing and scheduled the date for the work to begin, the job was completed in 2 days. In fact, they did the entire job while I was out of town on business. When I returned, the fence looked fantastic. I would definitely use this company again!

They were excellent. They were really good people to work with and it was a pleasure to do business with them. They stayed with the estimate that was quoted. They give you an estimate when they come out the first time. Everything was exactly as they said it would be.

Mike orignally sent me a quote by email based on a description of work. I received the quote the day after it was requested. A week later I called him and scheduled an appointment to confirm job. He came out modified the estimate and scheduled the work for four days later. His guys arrived in the afternoon as expected and did a great job. He was responsive, timely with scheduling, professional and did quality work.

Two workmen arrived early morning and worked all day, and finished the project by late afternoon. They did an excellent job.

They showed up on time for the estimate. Services were rendered 2 days after the initial scheduled date at the time of the estimate. Work was completed in 2 days, however Mark did not respond to follow up questions regarding debris left in my yard after he had been paid for services.

I call them for an estimate and three other companies all of them worked around my schedule to come and give me and estimate and look at what needed to be done. Diamond Fence was the last company that I had scheduled to come out and give there bid. I didn't tell them I had already been given two other quotes just explained what I wanted and they let me know that buy using wooden post and spruce that it would not save me any money like they other two companies had explained to me. So I was thinking I was about to get with the highest bid when it was actually the best. I had been told by the other companies that they were two weeks out from being able to do the job that was not the case they asked when I wanted and done and delivered. The fence was taken down and removed and the new one up just as promised. I will use this company again and will recommend them.

The cut of the driveway went fine. I spoke with Adam by phone and we eventually scheduled a date to do the cutout of the cement. The workers came and removed the cement without damaging the neighbor's lawn. I told Adam to be careful with the cement removal so as not to upset my neighbor. Obviously they were careful because my neighbor did not complain. After the cutout was done, I set up a date with Mike to install the new metal poles and fences. I was out of town when the fence workers came but my neighbor was there. He told me that when they got there, they went right to work and removed the old fence and poles and put up the new poles. They came back after and put up the fences according to how I wanted it done. There was a little back and forth as far as the scheduling but they did follow up with my calls. No other company I called for the cement or fence install did that. One thing that would be nice, and this pertains to all fence companies, is if they would spray the fence with a stain when done. But it only took me a couple of hours with a brush and roller to stain my fences so it was fine.

They sent somebody out to give me a bid and then he did it for my neighbor as well. He didn’t follow up like he was supposed to. He didn’t give us the information timely. He would never answer our questions. He never returned a call. We were dragging through the mud to get him to do anything. Then I was notified that he had been terminated and had committed fraud, but they would stand behind the work that they had in process and would try to make up to us the issue. They came back out and did a second bid and I had a total of 4 bids done on the fence and my neighbor had an additional bid done, so they had 5 bids total. The second bid they did came out the highest of all the bids. So not only did he not honor the original bid, which was not our lowest bid by any means. It was comparable to Rustic Fence, who is well known in the area. It was comparable to their quote. So when he came back out, they said in writing and in person that they would honor their bid and they didn’t honor their bid. They brought back another one and it was twice the amount of the first one. When I tried to deal with the owner and explained to him that I understand that he may not be able to honor the original bid even though his employee bid at that and I have it in writing and could technically hold him accountable to that, I didn’t except to do that. But I expected him to be fair and doubling the bid was certainly not fair. It was way over what the other companies were paying. He was very disrespectful, very rude. I think his company was in jeopardy because of all the damage that person had done to him, but that tells me that he has lack of controls of his own associates he had delegated authority to and he put had himself in that position. It wound up being a punishment to us.

I was very pleased that they were willing with work with our schedule. Estimate done quickly, work completed as requested. Employees I interacted with on the phone were helpful and professional.

Everything went very smoothly. I was given an estimate on my intial phone call, based on my information. I made an appointment to get my job measured and the gentleman arrived at the agreed upon time. The final price was actually lower than the estimate because I had over-estimated the size of the job. It was scheduled and installed less than a week later. I will definitely use them again because I called four other companies and Diamond was lower in price and faster in service. Very pleased with the finished product. I've got tons more privacy than I had before and now I don't have to work about my dogs getting out this summer. Should have done this years ago. Will definitely call Richard and Co again if decide to replace the fence between my house and my neighbors. He was great to work with.

I got several bids to replace my driveway, and chose Diamond due to their courtesy, follow-up, high quality materials used, and detailed explanation of the process. Also, they have a good rating on the BBB website, which I always check before hiring someone to do work around my house. They were on-time to start the work and finished on schedule. They cleaned up after the job, and the workmanship is excellent. I am very pleased and will not hesitate to call them again.

Customer service was very friendly. Quote on the job was very reasonable. Set up a time to perform the job and workers were on time and did an excellent job. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

After the decision was made, I was given a time line as to when the job was going to be completed. I was pleasently suprised that it was completed faster than I thought. Although, there was a misunderstanding about what the job was suppose to cover, I am very happy with what has been done at this point. I will be using Diamond Fencing when the time comes to repair/replace the remaining fence.

While we did not use Diamond for our fencing needs out of the 4 fencing companies on Angies list they where the only ones that actually called back, made an appointment and gave us an estimate. I was impressed with their follow-up and would use them in the future.

The guy that I had been talking to was Chris. They called and told me the day before what they were going to do. The two guys who came out today have been working here since 10 o’clock this morning. They’re doing a pretty good job and actually there’s no loitering. I’ve dealt with moving companies before and I know this is nothing in common but none of them have been sitting around doing nothing. They’ve all been working. They did give me a quote and it wasn’t the lowest price but it definitely wasn’t the highest. I quoted them $8000 since they did it fairly.
