What an AMAZING job! One of neighbors came over to meet us and they said they liked our NEW carpets, yet these were the original 10 year old carpets!!! The carpets were almost white in color and Jay got them looking like NEW!!! He worked on the spots I pointed out and found some more as he cleaned! On the old pet stains, he treated and cleaned the spots, then afterwards, he treated the stain again! Stain was all gone! I liked the care he took by putting down the corner bumper guards and the mats under the hose. jay is a very nice man too. I will recommend him any time.

Found Blue Jay on Angies List and called due to favorable reviews. This is carpet in new home, never lived in but full of dust due to recent installation/scraping//sanding of wood floors in house. Hoping to mitigate dust issues as much as possible at the outset (pre move in) due to family alllergies. Called Jay on a Tues/Wed and made appt for service on Friday. Arrived on time (he was actually there waiting for me). Jay vacuumed & cleaned 7 areas plus big stairway. He was very professional, worked diligently, I left him there and job was completed in 3-3.5 hours. I have used Dalworth previously w/ OK results but will plan to use Jay again next time I need carpet cleaning. Very personable guy. I prefer to support small businesses when feasible. Charges quoted over phone were right on target ($33 per "area") plus $55 for large rounded stairway. Total was around $280 plus tax.

Jay did a great job for a good price. It was nice to give our business to a small company instead of a chain service. Highly recommend.

Company arrived on time. Did an excellent job of removing the pet stain and odor from the carpet. Thorough and professional, I would definitely use Bluejay again.

I sent an e-mail one evening. He called back the next morning. We made an appointment for a few days later. He came out and cleaned one of our sofas. He was friendly, professional and punctual. The price seemed to be reasonable not having that done before. It was an in depth cleaning, a nice upholstery cleaning. The only observation was that he chatted a little but that doesn't reflect the quality or his professionalism.

He was very nice, honest guy, and great to work with. He does a very good job. He has a good personal touch.

Service was provided on time, at the price quoted and with no unpleasant surprises. I was fully satisfied. Jay is a nice, outgoing man and is a pleasure to work with.

We had visitors coming to stay in our home and the dog urine smell was obvious. Jay spent at least 3 hours in our home, testing various rooms for urine, then carefully treated the areas before the main cleaning. He charged me a reasonable price per room and was extremely consciencious about his work. The process was explained to me and estimates given in advance. Our house smells so much better and the carpets look great. I would choose Jay over ANY big name carpet cleaning company. A trustworthy, knowlegable man!

Jay was prompt, attentive, and most importantly HONEST. I had hired him to clean the carpets and tile of a new home before we moved in. He arrived on time, and inspected the home before starting. He said he would clean both the carpets and tile no problem, but in his professional opinion he told me the tile did not need to be professionally cleaned--it looked new and we were better off waiting longer 'til it got more dirt on it ((thereby saving us new home-owners some money!). He could have kept quiet, not said anything and cleaned it and taken my money, but I really appreciate his honesty. This saved us several hundred dollars. Thanks, Jay! We will definitely call you again.

Jay was awesome to work with. He is very professional and takes great pride in his work. He came on time helped move chairs and laid out his equipment. He is very neat and takes care to protect your furnishings. He explains the process and identifies any potential problems. For example there were a couple cigarette burns and Jay did such a great job repairing the holes we cannot even see them. We will definitely be using him again in the future. We highly recommend Jay.

He was able to schedule a time the following day during the first phone call and give a starting cost. He was prompt and was able to give a closer estimate which he told us before he started after seeing the actual size of the rooms and the sizes of the area rugs . He looked at what the area rugs were made of and told us if they would buckle while drying or not and if it was permanent. He noticed a small pet stain in one room and pre-treated it. He set up area rugs to prevent slipping near the cleaned carpeting and set up corner guards to protect the corners of the walls. He cleaned all of the carpeting and area rugs thoroughly and took his time and was careful with his hoses. And cleaned up so you couldn't tell he'd been there. This was an empty house and took a lot of time and we appreciated that he did not rush through it. We are very happy with the job Jay did and would not hestitate to recommend him.

I have two little boys who use the family room as an extension of the kitchen. They are always eating there and spilling all kinds of things. We have a light colored carpet in family room and so the place was looking a little dirty. I called Jay and he quickly gave me an estimate over the phone and we were able to find a date that worked for us the following week. He was on time and very friendly. He has good knowledge on carpets and stain removal. He cleaned our family room carpet and our stairs. And he spent a long time removing stains that were set in to the carpet. He did not charge extra for all of the stain removal work. We also have a closet that is near the family room that has a stain of unknown origin (from the previous owner) Jay spent a long time trying to remove it. He did succeed in lightening it and he told me a way to fix that patch of carpet myself. I would definitely use Jay Carpet cleaning again.

After being shuffled around by another local carpet company, I gave Jay a call this morning for an emergency carpet cleaning (before my mother comes into town). Today was his day for paperwork, but he agreed to come over for an estimate. He was on time and very likable. After testing the floor it was brought to my attention that they were beyond repair. Jay's honesty and professionalism haven't gone unnoticed and I'll recommend Blue Jay carpet cleaning to everyone I know.

I called Blue Jay and spoke with Jay and explained that I had some mud from a recent snow storm brought in by the dogs and a red wine spill that we had tried to clean up with club soda. Jay, said he would prefer to see it to give me an accurate estimate and we arranged a time. He arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule, but called first. We agreed on a price and set an appointment. He returned on time (no time window, but exactly on the dot). He pre-spotted the trouble areas and cleaned the three rooms in about one hour. He also said that if any of the spots come back, call him and he would return to re-treat them. He presented me with an invoice matching the estimate. He is a very friendly and personable guy. I will call him again. He didn't try to sell me anything. No extra rooms, no cleaning solution, no pre-spot solution...I would highly recommend him. You know exactly what you will pay, exactly at what time he will arrive, and exactly who you will have in your house. It was a great find for a local small business.

Jay was wonderful to work with. He takes pride in his work and is reasonably priced. He is upfront on how he will clean and provides information to make the process go more smoothly. We will be using him again in the future.

Jay was easy to contact via his email and was prompt - even though I wrote him on Saturday he responded within 24 hours. He was polite and explained what I could expect for my individual cleaning. He lived up to what he told me. The carpet looks wonderful!

Excellent. He was able to come out quickly, was neat and courteous, and did a great job. Unlike most bigger carpet companies who start trying to sell you dozens of "other services" once they get in the door, Jay was very professional, doing exactly what we asked, and he did a very good job. He even stayed late to stretch a section of carpet in the hallway we didn't mention until he was about to leave.

Everything went great. Jay moved all small furniture and did a good job cleaning all areas.

Experience was very worthwhile. Prior to Jay, another company had been hired by me to clean the carpets using oxygen as a method of cleaning. In the past, I had bad experiences with both steam cleaning and dry chemical cleaning. This method also proved to be unsatisfactory. It really amounted to pulling the dirt from the berber carpeting and then spreading it around and then the process was over! By Jay using the treatment and THEN steam cleaning, he was able to LIFT all the dirt that had been left from the prior cleaning (and I use the term loosely). Also, the other method had left a crusty feel to the carpeting which was annoying as I go barefoot most of the time. I also have Multiple Sclerosis and the bottom of my feet are especially sensitive to touch. I was and am extremely satisfied with Blue Jay Carpet Cleaning and will highly recommend Jay's company to my friends.

My son broke an egg on the carpet, so I called Jay and he came out the same day. Once again he did a great job. He takes more time and care with the job than the other big names we have used. We will definitely use him again.

Great experience. This is a one man operation, so I don't have to worry about who is coming in to my home. Service was scheduled for the next day after I called. Jay spent much more time cleaning the carpet than other companies have in the past. He uses the hot water extraction method. The carpet looks great! I will definitely use Jay from now on.
