Response from Wrightway Moving Company, LLC
We appreciate our clients taking the time to provide feedback. We understand how disappointing it can be when your expectations are not met and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify what we think may have happened. During our initial conversation with client on 03/18/2014 Wrightway provided an estimate for one load/unload @ 3-5 hours plus drive time to move large items only from a 2400 square feet 2-story home in Prosper to a ground floor storage in McKinney. The client scheduled the move for the following day on 03/19/2014 with an arrival time between 1-3PM ETA. The crew arrived @ 2:50PM within the 1-3PM arrival time window. Wrightway recommends padding furniture while it is in storage. Client declined pads for storage per clients signature on Contract for Moving Services and did not provide any padding for storage. When the crew arrived client had more contents than originally provided to Wrightway and required more than one trip to storage. Client secured their own storage and did not disclose to Wrightway the size of the unit they had reserved. Unfortunately, some of the items would not fit in the unit that client reserved and due to the storage office being closed client was unable to obtain a larger or 2nd unit. Therefore, some items had to be returned to the origination address. Wrightway has no record of client contacting us during the move or thereafter regarding any damages caused by Wrightway during the move. This is the first time we have received any feedback from client which is over one year later from the move date on 03/19/2014. We apologize for any miscommunication regarding 2 hour arrival window and recommended supplies for storage. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our services.
