Description of Work: They moved us from Dallas to Houston. The packers did not finish the job, so the movers had to finish that job when they got there. Instead of leaving at 10 am as planned, we did not leave until 3 in the afternoon. It ended up being after midnight until we got unloaded in Houston. They promised that they were going to pack the mirriors and oil paintings in crates, and they didn't. They broke down boxes and put them in that. Fortunately, nothing was broken, but it was not done as promised. They did successfully move a baby grand piano without any damage to it. They broke a couple of lamps that were not packed efficiently.

Description of Work: End up costing more money than anticipated. They damaged a couple things, but to file a claim and not have someone to come in person to see damage was a great inconvenience. Never got around to filing being so busy closing on a new home and all kinds of problems with builder.

Description of Work: Packers were very expensive, slow, and generally not good. They put crazy combinations of things in individual boxes. They did not tell me in advance that they would not pack certain things such as aerosol cans and flammable liquids such as rubbing alcohol. I had set some necessities aside that I told them not to pack but they packed them anyhow. They told me that Angie's List discount was built into the price but I suspect it wasn't. The movers were better but did have a couple of screw-ups; there is a very large white paint rub mark on an oak desk and they did not reassemble a door hinge spring properly.

Description of Work: Relocated home office furniture (disassemble & reassemble), sofa & bakers rack within my home. The 1st time they were scheduled, someone at Wrightway changed my appointment time without contacting me & then wanted to move it even later because of a truck mechanical problem. | |The 2nd time, the movers called to say they were on the way, arrived promptly & did a wonderful job moving my furniture. I couldn't have asked for them to take more care with my furniture & property than they did. | |Unfortunately, I was advised when they arrived that they only accept CASH or a credit card, & the credit card rate was $5/hr. higher - NO CHECKS. This was not stated on the e-mail estimate the office sent, either. The movers also weren't aware of the 10% Angie's List coupon that I'd e-mailed with my acceptance of the estimate (per instructions from office personnel). | |I would use them again, but was not happy to pay a higher rate, even for a small move, because they didn't disclose their payment policy.

Description of Work: We originally scheduled our move for 4/24/2015. We needed to change our move to 4/25/2015 and Wrightway no longer had openings for 4/25/2015; so we need to cancel. Wrightway moving has been very courteous and helpful. These seem like a great company. If they had been available on 4/25/2015, we would have stayed with them.
