Description of Work: It was the best moving experience I have had. The men were prompt , polite and very efficient. They went out of their way to provide the best experience possible. Would definitely recommend them!

Description of Work: Helped me move from a 1 BR apartment to a home. They worked VERY hard and quickly. Be sure to encourage them to wrap things. They weren't going to wrap a nice dresser (even though it had damage) before they were going to take it down stairs on a dolly. And make sure everything you have them move is packed tight. They moved some small file cabinets and they rotated them 180 degrees in the moving process. I should have packed everything separately. Otherwise they were great.

Description of Work: The responsiveness on getting an appointment on the day we needed it was great & they were punctual on arrival. The only problem I had was that it took them an excessive amount of time to arrive with the furniture to the new house & resulted in them going over the amount of time we had already purchased so the total amount for the move far exceeded the amount that I expected to pay & they did not do credit cards so cash was needed to pay the remaining amount.

Description of Work: Office staff was good, rates were competitive but the moving crew not very efficient. Based on other reviews, probably a different crew team may be better.

Description of Work: PACKING: packers showed up on time at 9:00 am. They worked at a modest pace to pack our belongings until we heard the movers would be there on time at 1:00, then the packers started working faster. The packers included a 20-minute smoke break in the time we were charged for. The estimate indicated "2-3 hours" expected for packing, but it took 4 hours with myself and my mother helping. When I unpacked my boxes, I found that some were packed very inefficiently - sometimes 1 small unbreakable item packed in a relatively large box with lots of padding - which is frustrating when not only are we are paying for the packing material and we also ended up running out of space on the moving truck. |BOTTOM LINE: I paid $240 for 3 hours with 2 packers with an estimated time of 2-3 hours. I was told I would also be charged for packing supplies and $55 for fuel. On the day of the move, I ended up paying an additional $432.52 for services for a total of $672.52 (not including tips). This is about $200 more than what I was expecting based on the estimate. | |MOVING: movers showed up on time at 1:00 pm. After they loaded most of the stuff, they came to me and said they truck was almost full and they recommended we make 2 trips. They wanted approval for the additional time it would take to make a second trip (2-3 hours). The items remaining were some of the bigger things - outdoor table, chairs. I evaluated the truck myself and asked them to load the remaining bigger items and let us fit the smaller items in our car. The estimate indicated 2-4 hours expected for moving, but moving took 7 hours and would have been even longer if I had approved them to make a 2nd trip for the remaining items. To give you a picture of how small the items they were wanting to make a 2nd trip for, we were able to fit the remaining items into our 4Runner to take ourselves in 2 trips. |BOTTOM LINE: I paid $275 for 3 hours with 3 movers with an estimated time of 2-4 hours. I was told I would also be charged for $50 for upright piano and $70 for fuel. I ended up paying an additional $695 for services for a total of $970 (not including tips). This is $450 more than the max I was expecting based on the estimate - and it would have been $2-300 more than that if I had agreed to their recommendation to make a 2nd trip with a few small items. | |Overall the quality of the work was good, but I did not feel the packers and movers were mindful of their client's expense. The estimate I was provided was grossly inaccurate and I ended up spending $675 more than the max of the range I was anticipating.

Description of Work: It went well. I just had one broken lamp but other than that it was smooth.
