Description of Work: Do not hire this company. They will rip you off. We were moving from a two bedroom apartment into a house. First of all they showed up two hours late. Then it took them 10 hours and they did not get all of our belongings. We had to rent a Uhaul the following day to complete the move. Then to add injury to insult the two workers had the nerve to ask for a tip.

Description of Work: I would not use this company again. We had an hourly rate and they took 16 hours to do the job (they worked very slowly) and worst of all they made a mess on all carpets (Black marks, which are hard to remove) with the dolly they used. We used them to move from Midland to Corpus Christi 2 years ago.

Description of Work: I had hired them to move some bedroom furniture from an upstairs bedroom to a storage unit. The movers who came by were courteous and professional, but they gouged the hardwood floor in the bedroom while removing the Armour. They took photos and assured me it was covered and that they would be in contact with me. Well several weeks went by and never heard from them so i contacted their office to resolve this. When I did call to inquire how my claim was to be handled the man on the other end rudely said he couldn't help me and hung up on me. Thinking maybe i had called the wrong number i called again, but double checked to make certain i was dialing the right number. I got the same man on the phone and this time he just hung up on me. By this time i was infuriated, so I looked up their address and found they were located just a few blocks from my office. I went down there to speak with him in person and as rudely as can possibly be he just told be he couldn't help me and dismissed me altogether. I could not believe what I was experiencing! It looked like they were very busy at the time, but this did in no way warrant the kind of treatment i received from him. | |I decided at that point to file a complaint with the BBB since i was getting no response from the company. a few days later a lady called me a helped me resolve the claim, but i can tell you that based on this experience i could not recommend them nor will i ever use them again. | |As for movers i would recommend Tortuga movers is outstanding! I used them when we moved out of our house last year. Great company!

+ -1 moreThey let me know what time they would be there...the two men were on time and worked quickly to pack the old apartment and then unloaded very quickly at the new apartment. One of the movers went over the paperwork with great detail. I paid a tip to them because they worked so quickly and finished early!
Description of Work: I moved from Port Aransas, TX to Corpus Christi, TX. I had a bed, couch, washer dryer and other furniture. They charged by the mile and the time it took. I would definitely recommend them!

The ended up on the high side of their quote but still in the price range of their quote. They were amazing at getting some furniture in to some tight spaces, I will be happy to use them again if I need to do a move. Ryan

+ 0 moreWe stored our furniture at this facility for about six months. We NEVER received monthly billings, or statements. The day before our move, they called and said 'you owe us 7,000 and we will not release your furniture until we get all of the money.' For some reason, they could not provide us with statements at that point, but needed immediate payment. Nor could they explain why we had never received any statements or billings. So therefore, we found the professionalism of the front office to be poor, and their accounting methods questionable. We didn't have a problem paying, just wanted to see some back up, which was never provided. Being from out of town, we had no choice but to pay. Movers themselves were very nice, courteous, and worked in hot conditions, so no fault there. We liked the folks doing the real work, just found the office staff to be unresponsive and unprofessional.

+ -1 moreI couldn't be more pleased. The movers showed up promptly, worked diligently, were always friendly and courteous. We finished hours before I had anticipated. They placed furniture wherever you pointed your fingers, including going up steps with a piano and placing a heavy cement bird bath in the back yard. When they left, we were ready to sit down and enjoy our new surroundings. They made moving a breeze. I'd use them again without hesitation.

+ -1 moreAfter contacting them via e-mail, All My Sons Moving and Storage of Corpus Christi called to schedule an estimator to give us an estimate for our move. The estimator arrived on schedule and inventoried our household goods. The next day we received an e-mail with the written estimate of the cost of the move and the services they would provide with the move. After getting and attempting to get other estimates, we decided to go with All My Sons based on the price and good reviews. On the day of the move two trucks and two crews arrived exactly as scheduled. We were impressed by the job they did packing all the fragile items and the care they used when loading trucks. The crews were obviously experienced and they really worked in theSouth Texas heat. They packed and loaded our household goods completely filling two trucks with the contents of a large 4 bedroom house. The next day they arrived at the new house in the Houston area right on time. The 4 man crew (again in very hot conditions) unloaded the trucks and placed all the goods in the new house, assembled all disassembled furniture, cleaned up all the paper and tape and headed back to Corpus. In summary, we are very pleased with All My Sons Moving and Storage of Corpus Christi. They were punctual, professional and did a great job. We did not find any broken or damaged items and we would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: They provided an estimate for a move from the Corpus Christi area to the Houston area. They arrived as scheduled, packed and loaded all our household goods into trucks, drove them to destination site and unloaded the household goods.

Description of Work: I called around town to find a moving company that would help me and my family move from one side of town to the other. All My Sons called me the same day I sent a request for information. The girl I spoke with was friendly and very informative! She listened to my situation and helped me to get a GREAT rate for moving. I was doing most of the packing my self and needed help with the heavy lifting. When moving day came the two movers called before they were sent out to let me know they were on their way. They arrived at the time they said they would and they were very professional and courteous to start the move off. Once I told them how I wanted the furniture and boxes put into the truck one of the movers (JR) started the inventory of the furniture (in case anything was damaged) and the other mover (Danny) started moving all of the boxes to the truck. Both of these gentlemen were profecient and quick but were not rushing by any means! They treated my furniture very well and even made sure that my priceless painting was properly packed for the move! The whole pack up stage lasted about 2 hours. I was impressed! Then we drove to my new home and they unloaded all of my belongings in just under 2 hours and even left my leather couch covered with moving blankets so that it wouldn't get damaged while in storage! I can not tell you what a relief it was having those two guys as my movers! The company was great! From the very beginning to the end of the move! WONDERFUL!!!!
