Some close friends of ours used Creative Boundaries for their backyard and the work caught our eye. Mark and Steve, the owners of Creative Boundaries, are professional, yet friendly. Mark is more focused on the landscaping, Steve on the "Hardscaping", which includes fences, decks, patios, etc... Our work for this effort was landscaping, so we dealt primarily with Mark. Mark provided a number of options for our landscaping, especially for the front of the house where we made several modifications. The actual work involved a team of several people who worked over a three-day period, with Mark onsite, to remove old plants, prepare the beds, and plant the new materials. Mark and Steve threw in a few extras that were really nice touches. Items such as a crushed granite walkway, a few plants that they had and would look nice in a spot that was not on the plan, or even a finishing touch cutting the lawn to highlight the finished work were very nice and we really appreciated. Beginning to end, Mark and Steve were very easy to work with and we highly recommend them.

Creative Boundaries is very punctual and they show up when they say they will. They are also very good at getting the job done by the time they say they will. I also feel that they are not trying to oversell my on the price.

They arrived on time, which seems to be unusual with contractors, and completed the work ahead of schedule. I was kept up-to-date with the progress and am very satisfied with the work. Stephen, the owner, was very helpful and answered all of my questions.

I had my patio extended and put in an outdoor kitchen. I needed my pool safety fence moved, Creative Boundaries broke down the existing fence, moved it including a gate and welded it back together. Next they put in the 8 foot board on board with a 9 ft. arched gate. They ran into some problems with the flagstone benches I had. Steve, the owner, and his crew worked around my problems that caused them more work and they did not charge me extra. Last they put in a 6 ft. board on board along my driveway they finished on time with no issues.

Mark was very responsive. The first time he came out to our house, he took pictures, measurements, reviewed what we had, reviewed some of the options we had, etc. We told him we had a budget of $4,000 so when the original estimate came in over $5,000, Mark worked with us to get it more in line with our budget. He showed us pictures of how the landscaping would look. He even incorporated two of our existing bushes, by request. The day they arrived to complete the landscaping, we were at work so we didn't see the progression. We saw the finished product when we got home. We were shocked at first, since it was so different. There was a lot of new dirt, the flower beds were quite large, but it was in line to where the existing beds were relative to the foundation. Also, the new plants needed room to grow. The morning after they completed the project I was out watering and a neighbor came out from across the street and said it was just beautiful and that it really did wonders for the house. We are quite pleased and would definitely use Creative Boundaries again.

The owner tries really hard to please and he tries to do the job so that you will call him back the next time you need work done. He wants your repeat business and referrals. The bottom line is that he wants the work. He is a very pleasant person to deal with.
