Before the work was scheduled, I was provided a quote to complete the work. Part way through the job, they discovered some additional concrete over the main where the break was. They wanted to charge me an additional fee. I stated that they provided a quote and I expected them to honor our agreement. They did.

Great service. Pricey.

I started not to say anything, but since you asked for my opinion, then here it is. The plumber was good and courteous. The work was good. The pricing was not good. Very high price. I was told what the top cost would be before starting the job and I agreed to pay that. For some reason after it was all completed and the plumber left, I realized I would not have done this if I was having my car fixed. I paid the top price even though it took less than a half hour of labor only to clear the drain. If I was having my car repaired and was given a "top price" and it took a "minimum" cost to fix my car, then I would have paid a lot less that the maximum. Maybe I'm be expecting too much, but $256 an hour seems mighty high.

Instead of starting to dig up the lawn, they first ran diagnostics that indicated, contrary to another contractor, that our sewer line had already been updated, saving me several thousand dollars!

The company and the technician James are very professional, clear and reliable. James did great work, was knowledgeable and proactive. The reason for lower rating is the price. Their 'book time' pricing is very high, the retail price to install a new sink, faucet and disposal was over $1250 and even with the 'discounts' is was still $1000, which worked out to over $250 an hour after discounts. It costs $60 for them to show up and quote a price and they won't quote over the phone, obviously because folks wouldn't agree ahead of time if they knew what they were getting into. I understand plumbers aren't cheap and James is a master plumber with over 12 years experience, but $250 and hour is more than you pay for just about anything but lawyers. Great work if you don't care how much you spend. I would not use again without a quote before the service call. You are warned.

I used Benjamin Frankin's services to try and fix a leaky sink. After a couple hours (and $193), they weren't able to figure out what the problem was or where it was coming from. After calling back after the initial visit to see what else they planned on doing, they couldn't tell me anything except "sorry, we can't do anything until you remove the sink". Obviously, I'm not a plumber that's skilled at that sort of work otherwise I would not have called them to fix it! All in all, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the services I paid for as I basically paid them $193 to come and turn my sink off. Would not recommend them moving forward and am still pretty angry with the experience altogether.

Brandon arrived early. He was very personable and professional. He wore "booties" coming into my home which I think is quite considerate. He completed the job in a timely fashion.

The repair rep was very professional and prompt. He completed the necessary repair in a timely fashion. I would certainly consider using them again for future projects.

They are a bit pricier than comparable companies but do a good job.
