Description of Work: Blew in 16" insulation

Description of Work: I took my original review down after they complained to angies list. I received more information from several other hvac companies so No i am writing this new review. They worked as a sub for my builder first texas home. They were supposed to put at least 17 inches of insulation in my house to call it r38. They only put 13 in and as a result I had to pay over $2,000 to fix the problem. Do not buy or work with them. If they are going to certify that my house has r38 then the house should actually have enough insulation to be r38. This company has no shame and while they don't deny that they falsified the certificate or that they shorted me, they want to claim they were just following orders of the builder. Guess following orders lets them feel okay about taking advantage of the customer. If they were honest and ethical they would do the right thing and reimburse me for their failure to do the job the right way. They will not do that but if they do you can be sure I will update my review and tell everyone that I was wrong. Update: I had another hvac computer come out to day. Big surprise they also told me I got screwed by this company. The hvac guy actually said to me, he was angry at the terrible hvac job and the fact that this company would do such a terrible job with the insulation. The tech's remark to me was it looked like a ten year old threw done some insulation and missed the mark. Don't get ripped off from this company, k&s hvac or first texas home. Avoid at all costs.
