Andys Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

I was very pleased with the experience. I did get a quote for some additional sprinkler heads but did not want to spend the money at that time.

They arrived in the morning on time as scheduled, confirmed my suspicions (without my input), obtained another transformer, returned to my house on the same day and added a light sensor.

I got Angie's cupon ($50 for sprinkler tune up) and called it in. They performed sprinkler tune up and replaced all the parts and did 90 min of labor. They did a good job and fixed bunch of leaks. I would definitely pick them next year for sprinkler tune up.

The service was excellent. I would use them again.

They began the work while I was at work, and by the time I got home, they were almost finished. After the line was completed, they took care to replace our sod neatly, watering and tamping the soil. They cleaned all of the surfaces when they finished, and our yard looked perfect. Sergio, the job leader, then stopped by later to verify that everything looked good. We were very, very pleased with the end result. The materials they used were of very high quaility, and we feel confident that their work will remain "like new" for years.

Matthew, the rep from Andy's, was on time and very knowledgable. He explained everything throughly and was able to give me exact prices for everything. I love that they could make the repairs right on the spot. I also did not feel they were trying to get me to spend more money by doing "extra" things.

These guys are the BEST! My sprinkler system wasn't working at all. The system in the back yard was literally in bits and pieces since I'd had my pool removed, and I knew that I had some leaks in the system in the front yard, so I called Andy's to troubleshoot what needed to be done and make repairs. The crew showed up on time, and I was consulted each step of the way as to what I wanted done. At first I thought I'd just have them get the front up and running, but they worked so hard and so well that although I knew it would be expensive, I told them to go ahead and fix everything, front and back. When they finished, it turned out that a section that I'd thought would be included had not been done, because the plumbing lines to that section were completely non-existent. The crew had put in a long, hard day's work, so I asked if I could schedule them to come back to finish the last section another day. They agreed, and although I was prepared to wait a week, they were available the very next morning. Again, they showed up on time, and worked hard for another 2 1/2 hours, laying pipe to get the last section online. I was very happy to have everything done, but even happier, and absolutely amazed, when I was told that there was no charge for coming back and finishing the last section! The supervisor said it was included in the estimate, and they were happy to do it. I didn't expect that, but it certainly made me happy. Andy's is a class act; you can't go wrong hiring them.

We received a confirmation call yesterday about our appointment and that Brad would be here at 8:30 sharp the next morning. At 8:20 this morning I received a phone call from Brad stating that they had run into a traffic jam and that they were running a little late and would be here between 8:30 and 9:00. They arrived shortly after the phone call. My husband worked with Brad and the other two guys that were with him, he said that they were very professional, courteous and did a great job! They were only here for maybe a half to three quarters of an hour, they worked very quickly and efficiently. We did not know the cost of what was being done, but we were good with what was charged. Brad immediately emailed my husband a copy of the invoice that was broken out into parts and labor etc....We would definately use Andy's again.

They did a tune up and got everything working. We could go above and beyond what the coupon covered if we wanted to, but the quote seemed pretty high. However, I was happy with the work they completed for the Deal. He was very knowledgeable and nice as well.

They were on time and quickly identified a plumbing problem, which they couldn't fix. Initially had to schedule a full week out due to demand this time of year, but I found that common to all the sprinkler companies listed on Angie's list. Unfortunately I had to pay an $85 trip charge just to find out it had nothing to do with the sprinklers.

The process was smooth and easy. I called the company and it was easy to get the appointment scheduled. The crew showed up on time, did an evaluation of my system and provided me with a price estimate. The work took about an hour and the price quote was accurate. The invoice was e-mailed to me from the laptop the crew cheif had which made everything very convienent. It was really no hassle from start to finish. I will use them again.

Called Andy's out to look at a leak I was having underground that would flood my yard whenever I turned the sprinkler valve on. Andy's sent out a 2 man crew - they had it dug up an isolated in minutes. One of the crew stayed to cut and replace that section of the main line while the other gentleman followed me around the yard looking at other problems I had. When they got the the whole system buttoned up, they ran through a test walking around and looking at how the system was functioning. He manually aligned heads that were out of whack and made note of ones that needed repair and two that were too short to reach above the plants they were trying to water. So, all said and done, I had 2 sprinklers replaced with 12" pop-ups, the main line repaired, one 4" pop-up that was broken replaced and 5 nozzles replaced. Took them 1:15, total charge $263.18. This was the second crew that came out to fix the main line break (last crew was by previous owner and from a different company and their repair job lasted only a few months). Andy's was a little pricey, but I'm very happy with the work and satisfied that it was done right.

He checked my sprinkler system thoroughly, and came back to tell me what needed replacing or adjusting and how much it would be. I believe it was less than $50 to replace or fix the parts that needed fixing, which I thought was very reasonable (and less than I had expected to have to pay). He even offered to program my automatic sprinkler system since I had never worked it before (new house), which I thought was great. He was quick and did a good job. Definitely happy with the price I paid.

This was a very smooth project from start to finish. Andy's is highly recommended.

I found them on Angie's List. They were outstanding. They had great customer service. They arrived when they said they were going to arrive. They gave me a price quote before doing the work and it came in right at what they expected it to be. It was above and beyond what I expected.

They are awesome. They called before they came and they came on time. I also wanted to have something else done. I wanted to point some sprinkler heads a different directions and Robert, the guy who came, gave me great suggestions. He then gave me a quote and performed the work right there within a hour. There were no surprises with the price and he was very thorough. I recommend them for sprinklers!

They were there on time, it took two days. As other review mentioned, they did leave the place extremely clean when they left, even when they were to return the next day. Professional, professional, professional. Not the cheapest, but I have learned, that's not the best way to go, esp. on this type of work. They had great foreman. Managers were very knowledgeable. I never felt rushed for anything and they answered all my questions.

The crew was very professional and quickly figured out why the heads would not come up. Unbelievably the water main to my recently purchased house was only open half way! They changed 28 heads, some sprayers, raised heads that were too low, rewired the control box and programmed the system to work as good as possible with our one day a week water restrictions in my new city. I will definitely use them again.

They would not bother to come to my house...

Very polite, knowledgable, neat. Explained exactly what was to be done and did it in a very neat and professional manner. Excellent cleanup after the work was completed.

This was a wonderful experience -- these two guys worked so hard and did even more than we asked them - they went way above expectations -- we will definitely use them again! My husband and I were very pleased. This is our first experience with Angie's List and we will for sure stay a member after this experience

The estimate was completed by Josh who was very knowledgeable. Pete was the crew boss who came to install the system. They arrived timely; they worked consistently all day installing the drip system. When they were done you couldn't even tell anything had been disturbed because it was all put back exactly the way it had been. Pete worked on the sprinkler timer to get the irrigation timing set up. He also worked on getting my sprinkler timer set up for regular watering (complex because of local watering restrictions). He even came back the next day to insure the timer was set correctly. I am very pleased with their work.

UPDATE: The owner contacted us and said it was a misunderstanding. He agreed the deal was for a tune-up and not an inspection so he refunded us our extra money. He said we should have never paid extra for a few adjustments and was very nice about it. We purchased an online deal for a sprinkler tune-up. They came out on time and spent some time looking at our system. We were told it was in pretty good shape and gave some suggestions and adjusted a few sprinkler heads. When they presented us with a bill for $100 my husband said we paid for a tune-up and the man said that was just an inspection (the receipt clearly called it a tune-up). The word tune-up implies more than just an inspection and any routine adjustments should have been included.

They are wonderful! Sometimes I find water in the drain of on the curb that shouldn't be there and I will call them and sometimes they find a broken head on the sprinkler and replace it. They are very good and we like them very much. They always call before they come. I couldn't complain about Andy's. They come out for different things so it depends on what they are doing for what I will get charged.

I called and they answered the phone very quickly. I asked some questions and they had answers for everything. They would not give me a price but they were able to send some people out (for a fee) and give me an estimate. A few days later I had to reschedule and they were very easy to get a hold of and set a new appointment. They then called to confirm the appointment a few days before! On the day of, they were running a little late and called to let me know. They then showed up, talked to me about what was messed up, took a look and got started. An hour later they were done. They showed us how to work our sprinkler timer and showed the fixed heads. We then paid with a VISA and that was it. Very simple.
