Did a fair job

Great job fixing a gouge in a brand new cabinet. Took his time. Made sure it was as close to perfect as possible.

In our recent move, our grandfather clock (4 generations) sustained some cabinet damage and we wanted it to be kept in perfect condition for the next generations to enjoy. We hired Louis Steen from furniture Medic and this turned out to be an excellent decision. Not only was Louis quick to respond to my inquiry, we made an appointment for a viewing within a couple of days and we hired him. The work was done within a few more days. Louis was prompt, courteous and very professional and handled the repairs beautifully. We can't even tell where the damage was after Louis was finished with his restoration work. On a 1-10 scale. I would rate this service as a 10 for professionalism, friendliness, neatness punctuality and quality. He definitely will be in my notebook for future work if the opportunity arises for his services again.

Lou is reliable and he works extremely hard to make his customers happy! He made a repair that I did not think was possible and he represents quality!

Very knowledgeable, but very disorganized. I think our project was too large for him to handle. He rarely made it to our house on day or time promised, we are still tied up with getting it done after 7 weeks, and too many excuses with employeed problems and other problems. I think he would be good if you have one or two pieces of furniture, but this is a claim being handled by Mover who damaged almost all of our wood furniture and is a large project. He knows what he is doing, but needs to stay with small projects. Sometimes he showed up without materials.

Louis the owner came to the house to repair 6 maple chairs. He explained what could be done to each chair. He was very personable and listened to what we wanted. He was also very knowledgeable about the construction of the chairs and the repair process. We will hire him in the future and recommend his business to others.

I WAS PROMISED THAT MY INDOOR WOODEN ROCKER WOULD BE REFINISHED FOR OUTDOOR USE... THEY HAD ROCKER 3 MONTHS.. 1ST DELIVERY FINISH BUBBLED ON SEAT & ARMS.. 2ND DELIVERY SAME THING HAPPENED.. SEEMS LIKE LOU OR HIS PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR HIM DID NOT KNOW HOW TO DO THIS JOB.. THEN WHY TAKE THE JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE?? EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE COMPANY & YOUR RECOMMENDATION..

Lou was outstanding to work with. He always returned my texts and emails within 24 hours. He is hardworking and conscientious and easy to get along with. I'm very glad I found him. Thanks Lou!!

They refreshed our kitchen cabinets and table top. Everything came out beautiful.

Lou did a beautiful job on my Ethan Allen furniture pieces. He was efficient, courteous and the pieces look like new! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs restoration services.

They were very responsive in coming up and giving a quote. They were doing 3 barstools and a table. I thought the price was somewhat high and he said he would include touching up a buffet in my house. Took furniture on Monday - supposed to bring back on Friday. Ended up being another week and I think only then because I said I was having a party and wanted them back. They brought back the stuff and did a nice job on it but never did the buffet.

The workman identified the root problem quickly and was able to fix my Barca Lounger so that I will get many more years of enjoyment from it. He was professional and polite.

Never thought the paint can stain could be removed from our team kitchen table but Lou and staff did a terrific job and the table looks brand new

This was a wonderful experience. Lou is super knowledgeable with a lifetime of experience. He and his assistant, Dennis, know their craft. This job combined replacing of a section of flooring, cabinetry and mold remediation from a refrigerator water line leak. They did the entire job seamlessly.Staining and matching finishes was especially difficult. They did great.
