Lou promptly responded to my request for an estimate to repair/refinish my dining room table. He explained the options we had as well as the cost involved. As he worked he thoroughly explained each step. Upon completion I had my table restored back to it's beautiful original condition. I was so very pleased with his work and highly recommend Lou to everyone for any project they may have.

Do not hire them to put in cabinets. I wish I had use a different company because they do not do a good job of installing. I had only hired them and paid extra because they told me that they could build a shelve if I needed it. That didn't happen. And they had to come back and fix a problem. When they came back to fix a problem they pulled up my wood floors to try a level the Cabinets. Very disappointed and I hope the floor guys can fix the problem these guys did to my floors. I may need to take the to small claims.

Lou did a wonderful job for us. Fixing a broken and loose drawer in our kitchen cabinet grouping was probably not the biggest job he has done, but he did it with such dedication and professionalism was so appreciated. He is a true craftsman in his art. We thank him for helping us solve an ongoing project that is now fixed. Thank you.

Lou was extremely helpful with my problem. Service was prompt, efficient, and reasonable. Would definitely recommend to friends and will use him again if the need arises.

I'm not really satisfied by this job. I contacted Lou for a repair on a cherry butler's table that I built 25 years ago ... our communication took a LOT of phone calls, most by me, but we finally got the job done... he did a good job of stripping and sealing my old oil finish so that poly urethane could be put over it. He polished the old hinges and replaced a few screws but left the screws obviously mismatched, some old, some new. Was wood puty put in the old screw holes to hold new screws tightly? Don't know). In building period furniture I have taken great pains with the finish ...either French polish (oil and pummice) or lots of fine sanding between coats. Unhappily Lou's final finish left much to be desired...the four folding "wings" of the table were left rough as though the job was rushed and done at the last minute ...which I think it was. Final price...$300. Definitely too much for this type of workmanship

Louis is the person you need to hire for any job you need that involves wood and restoration. I highly recommend him. He will make sure the job is done right and to your expectations. My cabinets are custom and or made in the 1940s. They needed to be shortened so a 65 inch fridge or raider could fit in the space. Louis got right to work and had all the materials that he needed to get the job done. There was no doubt in my mind that I had hired the right person!
