Ultra Services Remodeling

I chose Ultra Services Remodeling to paint my house. They were due to come and power wash the house on 9/9 and then come back to paint. When I got home on 9/9, the house was all painted and the only thing left to do was the trim! I wasn't prepared (didn't take the hoses holder off of the house/move the table off of the patio/move bricks away from the house), but the crew had moved what they needed to. My friend and I marked the areas we wanted to have as the trim color, and when I got home on 9/10, the house was trimmed out and looked absolutely awesome. The crew and their 'leader', Daniel, were very professional, courteous, respectful, over-the-top helpful. Arrived on time and completed their task way sooner than I thought was going to happen! These guys definitely know what they're doing and I'm so very happy I chose them to do this work!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Flaco!!! The day I called he came to my house to give an estimate. Five days later he and another gentleman arrived, on time and began the work. They were VERY professional, and wasted no time doing the work and it all turned out absolutely beautiful!! Flaco is kind, considerate, very much a professional, and his integrity is exceptional. His bids are very competitive and he and his crews' work is beyond comparison. He has many years of experience and knows what he is doing....and makes sure his crew(s) do everything to your satisfaction. He is very easy to work with; he is trustworthy and honest. I recommend him and his company with absolute confidence!!! Call on Ultra Services....you will not be disappointed!!!

The same day I called, Jim came out to do a bid on a paint job for our house and pump house. He was very thorough and ask plenty of questions and had a lot of suggestions. Got the bid two days later and our job was scheduled for about eight weeks out. During that time they kept in touch letting us know the progress of the schedule. They eventually got to our job about two week earlier than planned. They asked what time would be convenient for them to arrive at our house and they were on time each day. On day two, we decided to add a few elements to our job and Flaco was accommodating and even accepted the additional work with no addition to our final bill. The crew was friendly and courteous. They did a fantastic job and the results look great!

When discussing the work to be done, they worked with us on the changes we wanted after the initial quote. The job took 3 days to do. Prep work was very thorough and well done. Excellent paint job. The men worked very efficiently and quickly and did a great job. When the job was finished, my husband didn't like how a area around some of the windows looked. Not their fault. Darinel Lua suggested painting around the windows with the trim color. He said it would make the windows stand out. He was right, and and he repainted the area at no additional cost to us. The house looked great. The crew moved everything off the patio deck to clean and stain it. They came back two days later put everything back the way it was. Darinel Lua and the men were very professional and courteous and did such a great job, that we are having them strip and paint our kitchen cabinets.

I have owned 5 homes and done a multitude of work over the years and working with Jim and Flaco has to be one of the best experiences I've ever had. Jim has transitioned the business to Flaco and I know why. Flaco was always on time, did a great job and was always checking in with me to make sure I was happy with the job. Unlike the other estimates I received for my job, they had an experienced stucco person make the repairs on my home. The other painters were just going to patch it. Even with the extra work, the bid was still in line with the others. I can't say enough nice things about this company. I will be using them again and telling everyone I know to use them.

These guys are great. From the first phone call until the day the job wrapped up I heard from them continuously on project details and timing. They were extremely thorough - I couldn't find a single thing that need "fixing" when the job was done. The team was polite, neat and extremely kind, they help me carry groceries in from the car, chase after the dog and taught the children magic tricks -- they became like family. I've asked them to come back as soon as possible to do some interior painting. Hire them. You will not be disappointed!

Jim's crew did a high quality job painting the exterior of our home and garage. We had some old siding replaced, which I believe was subcontracted out by Jim. The finished product looked great, but the subcontractors weren't as tidy as we'd have liked in picking up after themselves. We had a few unique issues with the trim on our garage that Jim did a great job of fixing. Jim is very responsive and worked with us to make sure we were happy with the job.

They did outstanding work. They cleaned up after themselves and left some samples of the paint for future reference. The leader "Flaco" was outstanding to work with.

Jim and his team were excellent as was all the communication. Very professional. The painters were very thorough, anxious to please, courteous and the house looks great. Painters were on site at 8 am sharp every morning. Very neat job and clean up. I would highly recommend. Price was competitive. All questions were answered, Jim was available whenever needed, helpful with color choices. I would definite hire them again.

Last year we obtained bids to paint our home. We decided to go with Ultra based on the awesome reviews and price was comparable to other bids we received. My husband decided to wait until this spring to have painted. Called Jim and this was not a problem and was very professional and understanding of us wanting to wait. I called when we decided to paint and we were scheduled and they came out on time. They cleaned the entire exterior and sprayed to prevent mildew. They repainted entire home (3 colors), and completed painting the shop my husband built. We had some delays but that was due to the weather - it rained several times. As soon as rain stopped they were back out to finish. Once complete Flaco made sure we were completely satisfied with results. Work is awesome and meticulous. Place looks awesome and we have received several compliments I would like to give a big Kudos to Flaco. He was in charge of the crew and he was here everyday working and making sure everything was done correctly and that we were happy with the results. He is very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend and will use again. In fact I have already obtained a bid for some inside paint/repairs needing to be done. Awesome job Flaco and Jim and entire crew. My daughter had used Ultra to paint her home a year ago and she was very happy with the job they did. So I got a bid from Jim along with a couple of other bids. He had the middle bid. He does not use subcontractors so I knew they would do a good job. Jim and his crew did a great job. They are courteous and show up when they say they will. They know what they are supposed to do and know how to do it. They also did some extras so everything looked finished My home looks wonderful and I am very happy the job they did.

Can't say enough good things about Jim Kuykendall and his crew of three!!! Our house needed painting inside and out - plus a good bit of the wood trim needed to be removed and replaced prior to the outside paint job. All done very professionally and the crew chief saw everything that needed doing - I didn't have to point out anything!!! We also had our deck and railing painted. They were in need of it and now will look lovely for many years to come. The inside painting was done efficiently - they were very neat, very proficient and restored all the furniture back to its original place at the end of each day. Easy to live with them working inside. They cleaned up everything as they went along...couldn't be happier with the work that Ultra Service did for us.

Pro's all the way around from the initial estimate to the workmanship and service. Be patient - this contractor stays busy with his reputation but the wait is worth the results. I will be bringing him back for an complete interior paint next year.

Called Jim and he made arrangements to come give an estimate within a couple of days. Originally he thought the work wouldn't get started until the end of November but we were pleased to find he could start the job in early November. On the start date they were here exactly on time as well as the two follow up days. The crew was great. The job was fabulous and they did everything they promised for the exact price of the estimate. We even got a bonus when the crew chief suggested we paint the front door a bright color with paint he already had. We love it! I would highly recommend Jim and his crew. We plan on using them again.

We could not be more pleased. Jim Kuykendall made the process easy. Jim provided color charts, a source for paint samples and made recommendations pertaining to repairs required to restore our home's exterior to "like new" condition. The process was seamless. The crew arrived on time, each day, completed the repairs and surface preparation leading to the paint application. Their work was coordinated and flawless. Attention to detail, extended to covering our plants and shrubs during the painting process and returning our yard to its original condition. Jim and his crew communicated effectively, with us, throughout the process.

Very professional and very easy to work with. Competitive price. Readily accommodated additional minor requests including minor fence and shed repairs at no extra cost. Required more time than estimated due to weather. Returned promptly to correct a minor problem. Jim and Flacco and their crew lived up to their company's name: they provided Ultra-Service. We give them our highest recommendation.

Jim showed up and walked the exterior of the house to make sure we had everything laid out in front of us. They showed up on the agreed upon date and began the process of scrapping and washing. They then repaired any rotted or fractured wood on the siding. the final paint job looks amazing and the crew did a fantastic job. They even painted some railing that need some work at no additional cost. When they were finished Jim walked the property with me and made sure everything was up to my satisfaction. Jim and his crew did a fantastic job and I would recommend them in the future.

Jim and his crew did an excellent job from beginning to end. Everyone was courteous and professional. We are very happy with the finished results.

Jim's team did a great job on my daughter's bedroom. The texturing looks like it was the original (before I put up wallpaper) and the paint job is neat. The team showed up when they said they would and were very courteous. Would definitely recommend Ultra Service Company!

I called Jim Kuykendall with Ultra Service Co. to come to my home and give me a bid to paint all exterior wood surfaces. Jim and I walked around house as he explained precisely what would be done. Jim is knowledgeable and explained different options for a siding repair. He had told me up front when I first called him that he would not be able to start the job for four to five weeks which was for fine for my schedule. Jim notified me about a week before that my job would start Monday morning 08/12/2013. On that date four workers showed up a little before 8 am and started the project. The house was power washed and gone were spider webs and mud daubers nests and the years of dust. Next came the caulking and sealing of crevices and old nail holes. Some of the painting was done by hand and some by spraying, also the siding was repaired. The crew also cleaned up all trash that was created by the job. My wife and I are very happy with the finished project and would definitely call Jim again.

Excellent: Jim worked with me on setting up the starting time and was helpful on other painting decisions. His crew showed up on time began working quickly to power wash the entire house. The next day they masked and painted. The next day the job was finished. The entire crew worked hard and gave me an excellent paint job! Note: Jim's onsite foreman was very easy to work with and very competent.

When we first contacted the owner, he advised us of the approximate time they would be available to do the job and the cost. He kept us informed of their schedule throughout the process. They were very careful to not drip paint and tape off areas so paint did not get on places where it shouldn't. We were so pleased with this company, the owner and the workers. They were very efficient at their job.

Jim was booked when I called and I had to wait 2 months but the quality of the workmanship , timely completion, clean up of the site was worth the wait. "Highly recommended"

I contacted Jim Kuykendall in March about painting and caulking an area on my house that is above the metal roof line. I am painting my house myself, but didn't feel safe climbing on the metal roof to paint this area. Jim came out within a day or 2 of my call, answered all my questions and said he'd send me the estimate in an email. He sent the estimate after I emailed him to ask what the cost was going to be. I got other estimates and his was the lowest. He informed me that it would be almost a month before he could get to do the work. I was not in a hurry, so we agreed. I called him when it got closer to the end of the month and we settled on a date . The guys who came out were quick to do the caulking and painting and cleaned up well when they were done. It looks great.

Jim was super easy to work with. Virtually every time I contacted him he answered immediately or returned my calls and emails quickly. He tolerated many questions and concerns before the project began and patiently provided necessary education. He's friendly, professional, and punctual. The same was true of his crew. They did an exceptional job, with high attention to detail. We were very worried about how it would turn out, but the final result was much better than we expected: absolutely no appearance of any repaired cracks in the stucco, no overpainting, etc. They completed the work in the time frame they said they would and they cleaned up so well it was as if nothing was different except for the new beautiful look to the stucco. Highly recommend them!
