From the moment Robert came to our home with samples to the day he came to inspect the finished work this company was nothing short of perfection. You cannot go wrong with their professionalism and high quality work. The office was equally professional and friendly every time I called.

Outstanding work by an outstanding local business. All work was done to the highest standards and with the most attention to detail that I've seen in a long time. Robert and Julie have a unique, but very effective business model. Robert truly cares about flooring types and products, and will work with you to get the best fit for you and your home. He will start by asking you what you like most about different flooring, which he will use to send you lots of finished installation pictures to get a better idea of what you will want. He just doesn't focus on price per square foot & Hardwood vs Laminate like the big box stores, but little details like plank width, texture, thickness, finish -etc. With that information gathered, Robert will schedule a time to come by with a van full of large 2x3' samples of flooring which he has chosen based on your preferences. This is the best part!!! You can see large sections of sample flooring in your home, with your lighting and furniture, wall colors - etc. vs some 1.5x1.5'' dinky piece you picked out of the bin at Home Depot. I will tell you we would've made a terrible choice on wood if not for his in-home consultation. We decided that a quality laminate actually looked better and fit better in our home than a hardwood in the same price range. If you decide then on what material you wish to use, Robert will do the measurements right there and give you the estimate. When I had Home Depot come to take an estimate, it took a week to schedule, the guy was two hours late, took two hours to measure, and then created an estimate that was all wrong - NO THANKS! Installation was great. We had all new trim installed, so Robert got it delivered a week before installation so that I could paint it first - SO MUCH EASIER! Robert and Julie's dedicated contractor, Bruno, was a beast. This guy knows his trade, hands down. Bruno also helped me figure out a way to put my 10 ft tall wardrobe back up when we had trouble with the height (as the wood made the floors taller). I seriously thought for about five minutes that I was going to have to get rid of it - but he figured it out! He also figured out a way to 'step-down' the trim from the wood living room to the laminate floor in the kitchen, which eliminated the need for quarter round to cover the gap - way better looking without it. He truly cares about the customer experience and end product he installs. When it was all done, Robert and Julie had flowers delivered in a coffee mug - and have since sent us a bundt cake over the Holidays (which we quickly ate) - very classy. When we get our upstairs carpets redone in the next year, People's is the only place I will call.

Robert Peoples came to my home several times with lots of samples of flooring to show me. He was very knowledgeable and explained my options thoroughly. He was super friendly and professional at the same time, offering many options, helping me narrow the options and decide what was best for my home and never tiring of finding more samples to be sure I would be 100% happy with my choice. Once I decided on my oak engineered hardwood flooring, and later, my mosaic tile, I paid half the price of the job and Peoples ordered the materials and scheduled my installation. Julie Peoples managed my scheduling and she was very pleasant to deal with. When installation day came, the crew showed up and got to work. They were such nice guys...polite and respectful of my home. The process took place over a 2 week period....about 4 days for the first half...then a short break to get ready and the 2nd phase took about 3 days. The crew moved my furniture and then replaced it carefully back where it belonged....working round my desk, where I needed to work throughout. They played music when I wasn't home but when I came home they turned it way down or off without being asked. They were very considerate and aware that they were in my home. (which, if you've ever had major work done on your home, you know isn't always the case) When the same crew returned to install my tile, they had some trouble pulling out tiles in the mosaic net and replacing them with others to create the pattern I wanted. As a result, the tiles were not evenly spaced and I wasn't happy with the result. I placed one call to Robert Peoples and his only concern was that I was 100% happy with their work. They scheduled a re-do. The same crew returned, used a different technique and did a perfect job. During the time I was working with Peoples, my sister had a different company replacing the floors in her living room. Her floor in the one room was still not installed after all of the floors in my house had been finished. I have just written the check for the 2nd half of the job and I am happy to mail it off. Peoples did a great job for me and I would hire them back in a split second.

From start to finish, we were more than pleased with their service! Robert Peoples came to our home for a free estimate and spent hours measuring, comparing samples, and helping us choose the best floor for our budget and for our taste. Within one week, the date of service was scheduled and all of the flooring was complete within one day. The workers were efficient, friendly, and cleaned up all of the materials. We absolutely love our new floor and get compliments on how nice they look in our home! We would recommend Peoples to anyone that needs new flooring and will be using them again whenever the time comes!

Robert is wonderful and came prepared with a lot of great carpet options for our room. He was a great consultant about what would last longest and fit our needs the best. The install went great and we love our room! They have done several projects for us and we have been very pleased with all of their work. We highly recommend them!

Robert and Julie are amazing from start to finish. They are very detail oriented and professional. I recommend them very highly. First, they steered me toward the right type of carpet that would look good on my circular staircase (which was not what I had in mind) and that, in and of itself, is invaluable because it looks FABULOUS. They installed carpet on two staircases, one which was circular, and two entire floors so the price is misleading. I got more than my money's worth. On the third floor, Robert figured out a way to not have a seam in the middle of the room. Wonderful! Any issues that arose, they were prompt and on top of it. I am very, very picky and I can tell you that they addressed every single teeny, tiny detail. I also spilled calamine lotion on the carpet (not covered under the stain warranty); however, they arranged for the spot to be cleaned at no charge to me. What excellent service!

A freind of ours had Peoples Signature Flooring do their floors and they recommended them to us. We initally spoke to Jule and Robert about a year before we made the decision to actually do it. Then I checked Angie's List and found very favorable reviews. They were RIGHT!! I contacted them and they remembered me and had all my information!! What a plus!!! We talked about what we were wanting to do, and discussed a few different options. Robert really listened!! What a treat! He brought out some awesome samples that he had just picked up stating that he thought this might be exactly what we were looking for. Boy was he right!!! And within 2 weeks our floors were being installed! All the tile workers were totally awesome! I've never seen a harder working bunch. They were so clean and efficient it was amazing! I was really impressed at how meticulous they were in regards to getting the tile laid correctly and the grout tiny and uniform! WOW!! With as little disruption to our home and daily lives as possible. All went well and we are so very pleased!!! I keep showing off my floors to all my friends and family!! I highly recommend Peoples Signature Flooring! We'll definitely be using them to do the upper level of our home!

This was a really terrific experience! We had just purchased a home and wanted the existing flooring replaced with tile prior to our moving in. Julie and Robert were wonderful in helping expedite this process and the final installation was beautiful. Joe and his assistant (who did the actual installation) were some of the nicest people I've met in the Austin area to date. Extremely polite and professional. I felt incredibly comfortable leaving them in my home to carry out their work. While I am told that we will not being changing any more flooring in the near future (haha!), in the event that we do I will always use this company and highly endorse others to as well.

Peoples did their standard excellent job installing the carpet. They went above and beyond getting the job done very quickly, since we had a hard deadline to meet.

Peoples Signature Flooring is an incredible company. From the first phone call to the completion of the installation, the professionalism and follow through at every step made us feel confident that we had chosen the right company. Robert & Julie Peoples are delightful folks to work with because of their attitude and attentive customer service. They never kept us hanging, always a step ahead with a phone call to update or confirm on the progress of the order and installation. We had them install carpeting in our master suite which included the bedroom, an awkward hallway and two closets. The installer, Bruno, was thoughtful and meticulous - truly an experienced master at his craft. How he was able to lay that carpet without any seams going into the hallway then the first closet and then the second closet.....mind boggling and impressive. So wonderful to come across a group of folks dedicated to making sure you have a good experience doing business with them. Without question we will use and recommend Peoples Signature Flooring again and again! As a side note, as new subscribers, this is the first company we have done business with because of the reviews on Angie's List. Our subscription has been so worth it!

They came out to give an estimate on putting tile in my bathroom. The owner was nice enough, and knowledgeable. The crew that came out was not as good. They only worked until 2:30pm today. The crew member's older brother came to and let me that his brother was coming back to help finish the job so that I would be aware of his presence. The crew member's brother's came to help him, and he was incredibly disrespectful towards me, and we had a verbal altercation, at which point I asked him to leave my home. He took his time exiting my property. Everything was fine until he was told about the issue with the glue and the trim from the first job. I believe that's why he was being disrespectful. The rest of the crew decided to pack it in as well and they left. I told one of the crew members that he and his helper could stay to finish the job, but they decided to leave anyway. They left my bathroom a half finished mess. When I called the owner he said he would come out on Saturday to get everything finished. The owner came with one worker and stayed 7 hours with him and they got the job done. The owner took full responsibility and said the buck stops with him. The owner took is very knowledgeable about all phases of the remodeling but when he takes an order he hands it all over to the crew and they take it from there. I think an owner should at least come to the site before the job starts and at the completion of the job. I just think an owner needs to be a little more present and not give the crew total control over the work.

They gave excellent service. They were so professional and detailed. They were really easy to communicate with. I get so many compliments on my floors. They exceeded my expections for the job.

The two gentlemen arrived precisely on time. They took precautions to protect my flooring because it was raining, and cleaned up and vacuumed the whole room. They were very nice and I will use Peoples Signature Flooring again.

working with Julie/Robert was an overall good experience. Robert answered all our questions. Explained everything we needed to know about materials, installation, etc. Worked with us on scheduling the work according to our plans which was not easy. 3 months later, we could not be happier with the quality of materials and workmanship. Work was done as scheduled. crew was experienced, knew what they were there to do. quality of work was excellent. no complaints. did an excellent job of cleaning up after completing the project.

I contacted Peoples Signature Flooring to get a bid on some wood flooring. I wanted to use the same floor that I had in other parts of the house. They did not have the product that I was looking for--but went to the trouble to call me immediately and let me know that they did not carry my flooring. They then emailed me a list of local suppliers who do handle the product line, along with contact information for the distributor. WOW--incredible customer service--even when they knew I would not be a customer at this time! I definitely will contact them with future flooring needs.

Peoples flooring would come in Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday to work. It is rare that you will find companies willing to do that. They originally worked on the weekend around the painter before we moved in. That shows total cooperation so that we could get everything done that we wanted so we could move in. I had a knot in one of the pieces of wood pop up and I called them and they took care of it a quickly as possible. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Robert was very professional & gave us ideas how better to meet our goals. He brought many samples & showed us how they could work. Both Robert & Julie were wonderful in scheduling & follow up. The crew worked hard and did a great job. Also, Robert is very knowledgeable about floors. It was well worth doing business w/ Peoples Flooring.

They had to cut the flooring to fit around the fireplace and baseboards. It was a tremendous amount of work and they were able to finish in 5 days. The crew was very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job and they definitely knew what they were doing. The floor looks wonderful. The crew was very knowledgeable and worked hard. I hardly noticed them taking breaks. They even stayed late to get the work done and we even told them to go home one night. The people that laid the carpet were just as great. Everyone cleaned up well and were respectful of my house. The owner was very nice and courteous when we were getting bids. He brought tons of samples for us to go through. He was very professional and followed up extremely well. After the work was done, they even sent flowers to us as a thank you. I felt they went way out of their way to make sure we were happy and that the job was done perfectly.

We have high expectations, and Robert and Julie, and Tony and his team exceeded them. Robert initially came to the house and spent 3 hours with us explaining everything about hard wood floors and really listening to what we wanted. He brought in well over a dozen samples ( this was following our completing a number of questions in advance) and made it clear that there were no hidden costs and the price was inclusive of removal of our old carpeting, grinding and readying our floor which was concrete and was not smooth, and installation and finishing of the new wood floor. Julie also followed up with us regarding installation and checked to see if we were satisfied with the outcome. They are a business that realizes that quality is of paramount importance and the service component is critical to their success. They have an installation team that was incredibly professional, and were truly craftsmen. They were there on time, explained everything to us, were courteous and unbelievably skilled. They left our house with no mess and were perfectionist in their approach. Tony and his team were incredible and Julie and Robert understand the need to not only make the initial sale, but provide a great customer experience. I teach customer service and would recommend them without reservation, and may even use them as an example of exemplary customer care. They are an example of what small businesses should strive to be!

Robert was very knowledable, professional, and helpful. We talked for about 5 minutes and he said he'd research which flooring I will need and he said he'd call me back.

Getting our floors redone has been a great experience. We got quotes from several companies and Peoples was very reasonable, especially for everything they did. The service was excellent. Robert came to our house and helped us pick out the floors we wanted. He took his time and showed us lots of samples, always keeping our budget in mind. It was incredibly helpful to see all the samples in our home and side by side. We also felt like he helped us make an informed choice so we were able to get the most for our money. Once the work began the process was very easy. The work crew was efficient and very responsible. Some days they had to let themselves in and this was not a problem. Julie called every day to see how the work was going. Overall it was pretty painless and we are incredibly pleased with the end result.

After meeting with Robert at my house, he was able to provide me with numerous samples of my specified color ranges with a textured pattern. After a selection was made we were on their schedule within two weeks. Although the job was estimated to take two days, Robert's professional, dedicated and hardworking crew were able to complete the work in one day (10) hours!
