They had a fair price and were timely both in their quote and their work. I was very pleased with the results and would certainly use them again.

They are extremely nice and proffesional. However, their price was much higher then other bids I recieved.

Starting out, they did not show up on the day we expected them. As it turned out, on the following day, they did the work they had planned for two days in one day. They showed up early in the morning, tore down an old, stone column mailbox, and reconstructed a new one by the middle of the afternoon. We were very pleased with the quality of the construction. They left the work area clean.

Went very well. Most companies we called instantly balked upon learning that it was a 2 storey chimney. Clayton Diehr gave us a good bid, and did the work very well. He pointed out some bad work that had been done by our chimney sweep in a previous repair attempt. Clayton was very prompt, and courteous. A great contractor to work with.

Called this contrator for an estimate for some front yard and front siding stone work. Talked to him on the phone. He advised me to send him a picture of the house so I did. He said he will stop by the house in the next day or so and do an estimate. He also mentioned that he charged a "fuel surcharge" for the estimate. (I knew that was a bad sign already). Contractor never showed up for estimate. Have not heard from him since. I am glad he did not show up because there was warning signs going off in my head already. I found another masonary contractor on Angie's List and currently he is working on a $7000 job and I could not be more happy.

I called Clayton on a Friday at 4:45 PM. He promptly called me back that evening. He came out on Saturday to give me a bid on my rock column mail box that had been hit by the City of Austin Garbage truck. He had a guy come out on Sunday morning and the repair was done by 11:00 AM on Sunday. He is great. I highly recommend this company!

The work went very well. Both the wall and the slab were isntalled on schedule, and the price was the best among eight people that bid the job. I've already used Clayton Diehr for other work.

Clayton Diehr did a fantastic job. He arrived for the estimate exactly on time. He sent us an email with the estimate within 24 hours. He scheduled the job within a week of our accepting the estimate. We were concerned that the work we needed was in extremely visible areas, so we wanted to hire a mason that would match the look of the limestone and mortar. Several of the reviews on Angie's List mentioned the great job Diehr Masonry had done in matching existing brick, limestone and mortar. On the day the work was done Clayton arrived on time and did an incredible job. He was also very careful to protect the areas around the fireplace and the front fascade. He cleaned up the job site of any excess mortar, etc. We are planning an extensive landscaping project. The project involves the creation of some limestone walls. We plan to use Diehr Masonry for this project due to the excellent experience we had with Clayton and his company. I would highly recommend Diehr Masonry and Clayton Diehr to anyone.

This was such a small job. This company was the only one to agree to do a small job. After he agreed to do the job, he did not give me an exact work date. He did mention he had another larger job to finish. I called him the following Friday and he said someone would be out by 8:30 on an exact date. They showed up an hour late but that was no big deal to me. They did the work, The front of the house looks great and I really don't have any complaints. I am just grateful they took my small job.

These guys rock, literally! I have done commercial contracting and when it comes to getting the job done Clayton was a professional all the way. On time, responsive to calls and great craftsmanship. Everything you want in a sub. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Clayton did an outstanding job fixing our sinking deck. Other contractors wanted to tear up most of our deck and charge a lot more for the job. Clayton knew exactly how to fix the problem with minimal amount of destruction and cost. His work is impeccable. We couldn't have asked for more. Most contractors don't want to waste their time on small jobs but Clayton not only didn't mind he did the job with as much care and consideration as if it were a 10,000 dollar job. He was prompt and courteous...we would highly recommend Clayton for any job you may have.

He did a really great job and I'm really happy the way he did it. He did a perfect job in doing the repair and fixing it. The guy was very nice and very willing to do the other jobs. He even fixed my gate and didn't charge me anything for that. I would recommend him highly.

Great price, great job on the project. Definitely cheaper bid than just about everyone else, but it is clear that Clayton knows his stuff. He perfectly matched stone, handled a couple complicated curves and worked with us to make sure it was the way we liked it. I'd have a hard time believing there is a better mason out there or a better price. Great job!

it took longer than expected but Clayton did a great job with everything and stuck to his quoted price despite the work being harder and several days longer than planned. he showed up every day at 8 am until he was finished and never tried to cut any corners. the patio and walkways look fantastic and built to last. Clayton had several ideas which dramatically improved upon what we planned to do, saving us money, improving the appearance and increasing the safety of the play areas. his idea to use 8"x8"x22" drystack stone instead of railroad ties for the perimeter of the playscape was amazing. no splinters, no rotting wood, no oozing creosote and it looks 10 times as good. everyone else suggested some version of railroad ties/landscaping timber..... we couldn't be happier and wholeheartedly recommend Clayton. we look forward to using him for our next project.

Clayton expertly matched the 12 year old discontinued brick and even I would have a hard time telling where the repair is. He charged me significantly less than the quoted amount since he needed less materials than he expected. Now my home's elevation is strong, well constructed and looks great! The whole repair only took three days from start to finish. Clayton cleaned up the area and even repaired a small piece of concrete on my porch for free. Easy to work with, cheerful and prompt, I would highly recommend Clayton and his team!

Had a crumbling exterior wall cinder block. It was along an exterior window frame. Mr Diehr went back to the store and picked up a different color cinder block when the first didn't quite match. When he was done I couldn't tell which one he had replaced. Great job.

very good, good job, cleaned up afterwords no complaints

The work looks good, though someone to forgot to fill in a small crack they promised to stop by and do later. Scheduling was also a little tough because of business being so brisk.

Sagging limestones in arch and cracks in mortar over garage were professionally repaired. You would not be able to tell that anything had been repaired - very professional and courteous and all repairs are undetectable.

Clayton Diehr gave me an estimate and worked me in to his schedule as it was a rather small job filling in crqacks to our rock wall. He did a really nice job on schedule and on agreed price. I would use him again.
