Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for two hours of handyman service. They helped to unclog a sink and complete other small jobs around the house. This was the second deal I had purchased for their services. I had wanted to have the same technician come but, but he was no longer with the company. Initially, it was very hard to get them to return my call. When they send a handyman out, their work was just fine.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for two hours of handyman service. The job consisted of a lot of work with installing lighting on the wall and there were additional fees. They handyman that they sent was good. He was able to complete all of the work that I had wanted done.

Description of Work: I purchased a coupon for 2 hours of handyman services. They painted my formal dining room for me. They were friendly,did a good job and cleaned up their mess afterwards. I will likely use them again.

Description of Work: I spoke with this company about installing a utility door at our house. However I was unable to use them because I could not find the appropriate door and purchase it before our appointment. Nevertheless they were very friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for $88 for Two Man-Hours of Handyman Service. They came out, but were not able to do what I needed them to do. They were professional and nice. I asked them if they could move a treadmill for me, they said yes. When they came to do it and they mentioned that they were going to have to take that treadmill apartment to move it and they did not feel comfortable doing that. I did not have any services done, but I appreciated them telling me that they could not do that when they got here. I also was happy that they showed up on time.

Description of Work: It was an Angie's List Big Deal |We just moved to a new house and needed help what to do with the master bath and closet in the area. |We talked for about and hour or so, and had basically a brain storming session we talked about what we wanted, they gave us their ideas, and in the end they left took the information. We were sent a set of drawings and couldn't happier they listened and then put everything we all talked about into a great set of plans, just what we were hoping for. A great experience.

Description of Work: Best Austin Handyman had to reschedule three times ,after purchasing their special two different men came to look at our home & the trim we had concern with and couldn't do the job at the time because they didn't come prepared with the tools & rescheduled for the following Sat. The company the called and rescheduled again and said there was a $200. scaffolding fee & she would wave it due to the scheduling .Two guys came back to complete the repair & and After the job was done told us they were two hours over x two $79.00 for the times they were out to check the job & couldn't do it ? They also left the debris & their lunch trash for me to pick up...First time I have had any problems with any of the trades we have used from Angie's List.

Description of Work: I had wood rot underneath a large picture window. The project was bid at a certain cost. However, the person who bid the project was not the actual repairman. The repairman arrived unprepared to perform the work lacking the lumber and the router he needed to perform the job. Because he had to purchase the lumber and the router he and also because more wood rot was discovered along the lower sides of the window frame the job took twice as long and I wound up paying twice the estimate.

Description of Work: They replaced some scratched and damaged planks in my deck. They also power washed it and repainted the entire deck. The techinician they sent took his time and did an outstanding job. It took longer than they had estimated but he was good about coming back and getting it finished.
