Description of Work: Salesman was pleasant enough but not particularly effective or knowledgeable. Hard time getting phone calls return. Also charged our discover card for half the agreed price and then nothing was done for at least 6 was. That being said we were satisfied with the job.

Description of Work: Contact person,Joe, sounded very professional and helpful. He understood the job was a small patio to be fenced and the work date (6 weeks after the call) was VERY important for I was leaving town for 2 weeks,. On work day nobody showed up and I heard nothing. When I finally reached Joe he was apologetic and set another date for later. The installer was sloppy (left nails in driveway,etc.). The gate was sloppy and was very difficult to latch. It was Friday, and I needed to get in and out for the weekend. My son-in-law corrected the latch,etc. The fence part is fine. And in fairness, Joe gave me a discount on the fence after the missed day. I didn't call about the latch because I needed prompt, more careful work.

Description of Work: Rustic fence replaced a twenty foot stretch of fence and replaced all the old wooden posts with metal. Job came in as quoted, excellent work, and was performed in a short break during the spring snows. The guys were very respectful and got it done with no messing around.

Description of Work: Fence damaged in storm. Poles set in concrete had to be cut out, reset and the panels repaired and reattached. Fence looks better than before the storm. There were some logistics problems and they worked very hard to solve them all.

 + -1 moreI had an initial estimate completed in 2006 to remove and replace approximately 196' of fence but had to delay following up and scheduling a start date. In March 2007 I called the same representative on three different occasions and asked that the estimate be updated as I was now going to be able to schedule the work. At their request I faxed a copy of the original estimate and measurements to facilitate the update. At each call I was assured that I would hear soon, but I never received a reply. I originally intended to use Rustic - I was pleased with the punctuality of their response and their competitive initial estimate in 2006. In addition, I had talked with others who were pleased with the work they completed. Their failure to respond, however, to three different personal contacts in the spring of 2007 eliminated Rustic as a company I would consider hiring.
Description of Work: Removal and replacement of over 196' of wood fence.

 + -1 moreWhen we were bidding for the work they were very aggressive and had the lowest bid but once they got the job things changed. They were slow to get the gate installed and we had to make several calls to them to find out when they would install and the original date was missed by about a week. The gate shortly after installation developed a problem with its wheels and they sent out their sales person to look at it. We were told that they would not honor the warranty on the wheels. The gentleman was nice enough to bring us a set of new wheels but that was over six weeks ago and after speaking with him again I was informed that it would be at least another month before he can make it out there because of how busy they are. But if I was willing to pay for the installation they would be out there fast. Don't use Rustic Fence they don't honor their commitments and seem to have an attitude of not caring about the customer after the job is bid to them.
Description of Work: Rustic Fence replaced a chain link sliding gate at our commercial business.

Description of Work: I called and was told someone would call back for an estimate. I have yet to receive a call back and it has been 2 weeks. So, I will move on with someone who is more reliable.
