Baldi Gardens price was reasonable. I am satisfied overall with their service.

In my first home that I bought, the house did not come with sod (believe it or not). I called Baldi Gardens for the first time and they came over and gave me a quote. I agreed to the work to be performed and they came on time, graded the land, removed all the debris that the builder left behind and left me with a gorgeous lawn. After I sold that house and moved to my new home, I called Baldi Gardens again to make sure the irrigation system was up to par. They came and checked it and programmed it for me for free! I was getting a big water bill so I contacted Baldi Gardens again to see if they could do a check on my irrigation system. They found all the problems with it and fixed it at a very good price. My water bill consequently went down thanks to their diligence and good work. They are very professional and great to work with. I highly recommend them!

Overall, the experience has been good. We were having multiple problems with our yard, and the other companies that we had called weren’t too sure about what the real problems were. We spent a lot of money to try to fix the problems, but they weren’t ever fixed. Baldi Gardens actually took samples and sent these samples to be analyzed. They weren’t just guessing and were able to deal with the situation. Their prices are more reasonable than other companies as well. Their technicians are so nice and they have certain techs that do certain jobs. They seemed well-trained in the work that they do. We had to do a lot of repair work from the other companies’ errors, which were expensive and severe. Baldi Gardens seemed to handle all of them correctly, and we’re very satisfied!

Did not use because of fluxuatiing bid. Never adjusted for incorrect size of area to be paved with Pavestones (Initial estimate was for 178 sq ft when actual area was approx. 80 sq ft.

Giuseppe Baldi and his men arrived as scheduled Dec 7, 8, 9, and 10. Giuseppe Baldi and his crew exposed the buried tanks by shoveling the dirt away, verified the condition of that system, pumped the tanks out, raised them our of the ground with a large scoop loader, and disassembled them enough to identify holes in the plastic tanks. These tanks were meant to be in a warehouse or food processing plant, not buried underground through a summer of nearly continuous 100+ degree temperatures. We purchased a second set of 3 syrup tanks, which have been placed above ground, painted black to inhibit algae growth and reconnected Tank 1 to my roof gutter. Tank 1 has a pvc connection to Tank 2 so they fill at the same time. Tank 2 has a sump pump which moves water into Tank 3. Tank 3 has a push pump which will deliver water to a spigot so I can water my vegetables with rain water rather than drinking water. Now I have 900 gallons capacity to hold rainwater for use in my garden. The work has been done excellently. May I say that Baldi Gardens is the first company I contracted with from Angie's List. Of the 4 companies I've obtained from Angie's all have provided excellent service. Baldi Gardens, M&T Concrete, All Gone Away, and Diamond A/C services.

He showed up on time did the job,some plants and some grass died and he replaced them no questions asked.Great guy to work with.

Ricardo came by to give us an estimate less than a week after contact. We did not have him actually perform the work until a few months later, but he was very patient and started less than a week after we requested. He showed up with a large crew and most of the work was complete on the first day. Two days after he started, we were getting compliments from the neighbors. The price was more than I really wanted to pay, but Ricardo and his crew definitely lived up to his reviews and reputation!

Their work was impeccable, thoroughly professional, and exceeded our expectations. The beds look simply wonderful, and we couldn't be more pleased. If fact, we are seriously considering entering into an extended contract with them to provide on-going garden maintenance.

We found Baldi Gardens on Angie's List. We received 4 bids from landscapers to redo the landscaping for both the front and back yards. We asked for a Mediterranean/Italian landscape design that would still fit the architecture of our 1950's ranch. The other bids came back more expensive and not the design we requested. In fact, two of the other companies told us that they wouldn't install those types of plants in our landscaping because it wouldn't look right. Ricardo came prepared with a design that we loved and, like other reviewers have mentioned, a bid for the entire job and then separate quotes to complete the job in phases (i.e. just front yard, just back yard, etc.). Ricardo is extremely professional and his crew is amazing. They are polite, hard-working, and extremely good at installation. They even cleaned up each evening before they left without leaving an ounce of trash. We had other contractors working on our home at the same time that contrasted sharply with our experience with Baldi gardens. The other contractors promised to show up and didn't, left us with a muddy mess on 4th of July weekend, refused to answer phone calls, took 13 days longer to finish the job than promised, pulled the crew to go to other jobs, etc. Ricardo and his crew showed up every day until the job was finished and was in constant contact with us via cellphone. Ricardo also inspected the work each day to make sure that the installation was in accordance with the design. We are so pleased with the job and their service and HIGHLY recommend this company.

Called and talked to Baldi Gardens of what I was wanting done. We set a day and time for them to come to my home for an estimate. The man that came was very pleasant and professional. He asked for my email address to email me a bid. I have yet to receive one! In other words I never heard from him again. I gave a C instead of a D or F because he was very nice, and also kinda glad he didn't email or call with a bid. Reason,,,,I waited for many days and then went back on Angie's List and did more homework and found Smith Lawn and Tree Service. Job is completed and fabulous!

I loved the way that Ricardo presented his bid. First of all he gave me a composite of what it would look like. Then he made it easy to break the project into smaller parts if I wanted to. And he listened to me - he selected low maintenance, drought resistant, native plants. I asked several neighbors to review his prices since they had a lot more experience with big landscaping projects than I did. All agreed that his prices were very reasonable. Once the work was scheduled, his crew arrived like clockwork. Despite the triple digit heat they worked diligently until the work was done. Ricardo followed up every day to make sure that everything was going according to plan. As soon I have some construction wrapped up, I plan to have him come back to do some additional work.

It went extremely well. Ricardo and his crew did exactly what they said they were going to do and even a little more. Everyone was on time from the initial estimate until the final walk through. My neighbors said the crew worked diligently for four days straight from 8am - 6pm. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get landscaping done.

The arrived on time and were professional. They said they were busy and it would be a week or so to get us the estimates. Approximately a week later we got the electronic notifcation for the estimate for the tree trimming and the flagstone path. The tree trimming estimate was 2.5 times the other trimming estimates we received. In mid-June, we received another electronic notification that an estimate was waiting for us, but it was the same estimate for the trees/flagstone. I emailed to asked about the second bid, but never received a response. We never received the estimate or suggestions for the remainder of the yard.

Wonderful. A very professional team, well-coordinated efforts, fast and organized. Very polite people to work with. They really know what they are doing. Great communication right from the beginning. they didn't break anything, they di not scratch the new fence gate, or leave trash behind. We will use them again, definitely.

They responsed very quickly and provided an estimate. Mr.Baldi answered all of my questions without a problem. I have been very pleased with the service they have done and very happy I found them on Angie's list.

Baldi Gardens was fabulous, coordinating with us from a distance while we were preparing to move from the DC area back to Texas. We drove up to our new home and were greeted by the fabulous new front yard landscaping; LOVED IT! Very, very nice job, which our new neighbors have complimented on a number of occasions.

. It was a free estimate. I called them to give me an estimate and eventually I found it in my mail box. Probably I have not been at home. I have not had any interaction. I am not sure if I would use them in the future.

I was very pleased with Ricardo and his crew--from the quick response to my initial email to the completed project. They took an extremely shady backyard that I had struggled with for 11 years (and had actually given up on several years ago) and made it something I can actually enjoy. Ricardo came to house within a few days of our initial contact, listened to what I was hoping the backyard would be (natural, informal, easy to care for, adding some privacy) and the design he came back with in 2 weeks was exactly what I had requested. The design included a wide variety of plants of different heights, textures, colors, etc and included the names of the plants that would be used. I found that very useful because it gives me information I can use for any landscaping I might do on my own in my front and side yards (which are also extremely shady)--assuming I don't just call Baldi Gardens again. When Ricardo delivered the design, he went over it very thorougly with me and told me it would be approximately 3 weeks before they would come to do the work. But they actually were able to start within 10 days. They arrived on a Monday morning. While Ricardo and I talked briefly, the crew immediately went to work removing sod, stumps, roots, moving stones, etc. The crew is obviously experienced and were efficient and tidy. At the end of each day, they picked up after themselves, stored their tools/supplies and made sure both gates where closed and secured--much to my dogs chagrin! I worked from home during the whole process but would not have needed to as they followed the plan to the letter. Other than the dogs barking from time to time, I didn't even know they were here. At the end of the first day, I was amazed at how different the yard already looked. To some, the price may seem a little high but it was within the budget I set and there were a lot of materials needed to complete ~160ft of beds, stone path, and retaining wall. They planted ~ 75 plants (in 1, 3 and 15gallon containers) and if you've priced stone and plants lately you know they aren't inexpensive. It would have taken me 3 or 4 months to do what they did in 3 days, I probably would have picked inappropriate plants and I wouldn't have done near as good a job. I can't figure out how to add pictures to this report or I would show you what a difference there is between the before and after. I will definitely call on Baldi Gardens for future landscaping needs. And I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends or family.

I was very pleased with the job that Ricardo and his crew did with my backyard...They were right on time (big plus for me) and began work promptly...I was worried that the noise generated by the crew would wake up my teenagers (it was a Saturday morning), but the crew went about their work in a quiet manner and I hardly knew they were there...The work took about 4 hours to complete...Our Yaupon Holly looked beautiful after they were done and my yard looked extremely different...It actually looked bigger without all the ground cover and shrubbery...Great job guys!

Ricardo arrived to meet me promptly and on time and listened closely to my concerns about our drainage issue as well as our concerns about the lack of grass growth in our back yard. We discussed options about the drainage and he suggested bringing more sunlight into the yard would promote grass growth. He sent me a quote the next day and it was very fair. We opted to do the tree and shrub trimming first and will consider the drainage part at a later time. Ricardo scheduled the work and delivered it in a most professional manor. He is a really nice guy and his experience and knowledge is exceptional. Baldi is now on my home vendors list and I will be calling them again. WOW my yards look so clean and sunny! Thank you Ricardo!
