Baldi Gardens installed a flagstone walkway in my front yard and an exposed aggregate walkway in the back. Carlo and his crew were professional and dependable during the whole project. Weather caused some delay but Carlo kept me informed of the schedule. The construction turned out even better than I hoped. I will definitely be contracting with Baldi Gardens in the future.

I contacted multiple retaining wall companies. Baldi's portfolio of examples along with recommendations and price made my choice easy. They were available to begin work within a week. The wall was replaced in a little over a day and looks GREAT! They even worked on it the day it snowed! I would gladly use them again, and recommend them to anyone.

The service has been wonderful. They're extremely attentive to any issues we have, extremely reliable, and do a very good job! All of their employees, from the family members that run the business to the crew that does that work, are extremely polite, respectful, and friendly.

I discovered that two of my downspouts (in my front yard) terminated at two plastic pipes that were buried. I determined that the underground pipes only went about 5 feet (from the wall of the house to the edge of the flower bed), and that they were totally clogged with dirt and soil. I contacted Baldi Gardens and had them remove the existing buried pipes, dig a trench in my front yard and bury a solid pipe that connected the two gutter downspout to the curb, and cut a hole in the curb.to enable the water to drain to the street. They also obtained a permit from the City of Grand Prairie and ensured that the hole in the curb passed inspection. I dealt with both Carlo Baldi and Ricardo Baldi, and they were both extremely professional. After completing the work, they ensured that the water drained properly from the downspout to the street. I was extremely pleased with their work and would definitely use them again.

Their quote was reasonable as I recall. However, their pricing was similar to another company’s that I had already worked with in the past, so I went with that company instead.

The process from start to finish was a superior experience. Everyone at Baldi Gardens with whom we've worked has been extremely professional and dependable. We've simply never been disappointed. Special praise is reserved for Giuseppe Baldi, who has been our main contact with the company. He and his electrician actually installed our complete LED system by themselves and did an exceptional and thoroughly professional job. We simply couldn't have asked for a better experience. The lighting looks great and is exactly what we hoped for!

When Ricardo Baldi showed up for an estimate with two staff in tow to assess my needs, I knew he was thorough , professional. and wanting my business. I'm so glad I chose his company. His men shaved off a ridge on my lawn that directed water toward my foundation. They did this with such precision that it's impossible to see where they worked, even though they removed a huge amount of soil. They removed another stone path and installed drain pipes underneath it, with a catch basin in a flower bed. Invisible! They cut a canal from catch basin to the street only 8-9" wide, went under the sidewalk, and it absolutely cannot be seen, since they saved all my St. Augustine sod and replaced it. They rerouted drainage from my gutters and hooked into a french drain. At the rear of house, they extended an existing french drain at my back door and installed another catch basin, solving a terrible water problem every time we have a heavy rain. These guys are good! Stones on the existing walkway were too far apart, and the crushed granite surrounding them had washed away. Baldi Gardens found matching stone and reset about 50' of new and old stone. Importantly, they had crushed granite custom mixed to match the existing color that filled in around the stones and also matched the house color. When I wanted an extra large stone to fill a particular space, and another stone was wobbling, Baldi Gardens took care of everything no questions asked. I am extremely pleased with this company and its service.

A large selection of the plants started burning up in June even though our automatic sprinkers were set for three times a week. I called and emailed and texted Ricardo repeatedly to ask him to look a the plants and help me find plants more suitable for the area. He responded to the email/text and promised to come by to fix the problem. This is late August and we still have not seen Ricardo even though his crew (with marked vehicles) have been seen in our neighborhood several times.

They were fair, honest but I ended my contract with the after a series of mishaps with my yard maintenance.

Do not call this company if you have a huge job. They might or might not call you back.

The owner Mr. Ricardo Baldi visited our home to assess the above request. During our conversation about the possible job, my wife cautioned Mr. Baldi "not to trim very much from our Windmill Palms because we like the full green lush look of our palm trees." Mr. Baldi replied "I understand." He added that he would have "his son come by in the next few weeks when he was in our neighborhood, but he he did not know his son's schedule." My wife told Mr. Baldi that we would be home the next few weeks since, as he was aware we are both retired. We would be gone on vacation the first week of May. Mr. Baldi's son never contacted us to discuss the details of this job prior to our leaving for our vacation. When we arrived home on May 8th, 2012, we were shocked to find that all of our Windmill Palms had not been trimmed but had all the branches of the 12 feet palms removed except for the branches at the very top. From our windows, we had formerly seen the view of lovely green palm leaves swaying in the breeze. Now, we only had barren stalks. We lost the privacy which the large palm leaves provided. Since our front yard faces south, we now suffer the heat of the sun in the afternoon. Mrs. Byrnes phoned Baldi Gardens immediately on May 8th, 2012 at about 3:30 PM and left a voice mail message. She told Mr. Baldi how angry we were at the destruction of our Windmill Palms. This work was done without our permission, without any input from us, and without a written contract. This is at least the third time we have used Mr. Baldi's company. On each past occasion, Mr. Baldi always received our permission, we were always on the premises when any work was done, and most important no work began without a written contract. If past performance is any indication of future expectation, we were shocked. A few days later, I left an e-mail on Mr. Baldi's internet asking him to contact me and discuss this issue. Mr Baldi has never replied to either of our messages

Left two messages beefore someone finally called me only to say it would be a week or two to come out just to give me an estimate and the end of June to do the work if they were given the job. Obviously business must be booming and they're in such high demand that trimming one tree isn't worth it for this company.

Ricardo Baldi is very good to work with. He listens to what you want, makes suggestions based on his experience, and does what he says he will do when he says he will do it. The people working for him have been with him several years and are expert at what they are doing. The are fast, efficient, and do not waste time. Ask them for additional help and they oblige willingly. A great bunch of guys!! I would highly recommend Baldi Gardens for any type of landscaping job.

Mr. Baldi is great, the care was so personal. Every time you took him an issue, he would come right away to have it fixed. I plan on using them again for work in the future.

We love Mr. Ricardo Baldi. He is wonderful. They were great. They came out, drew up some plans, came and did it. They were finished in no time. All of them were very nice.

Initially I called outside of business hours so I left a voicemail message and my call was never returned. I then called and spoke with someone who seemed a little confused but once again left my information. He indicated he would email me immediately with estimates and possible appointment days and times which did not happen. A few days later I received this letter. I go to them mainly because of their responsiveness and price. Their price depends on what they do. They are a small family run company. They are very friendly.

I have worked with Richardo on three previous projects so we communicate well. I described what I had envisioned and he made some suggestions to improve on the design. Got a quote. Installation was done in two days, Baldi Gardens employees are all respectful, talented and hardworking. There is always an english speaker among them and they respond positively to my my requests and suggestions.

We have been using Baldi Gardens for our garden landscaping work and have been extremely pleased with the quality and professionalism of their service. Our gardens, front and rear, have never looked better. The only continuing problem associated with our gardens that we were having had NOTHING to do with Baldi. The company which had originally put in our front beds had also installed a landscape lighting system there, and this system had simply NEVER operated properly. From the beginning, the lamps had repeatedly burned out, and we eventually just turned off the system rather than deal with the frustration. This other company had come out several times to "fix" the system, but never figured out what the problem was. One day when Giuseppe was at our house in connection with some maintenance work his garden crew was doing, he mentioned to me that his company was about to expand their business to include landscape lighting work. I had previously told him about how unhappy we were concerning the earlier company's lighting job, so he asked me if he could check out the system and try to find out what was wrong with it. I told him to go ahead and see what he could figure out. In an hour or so, he reported that he thought he had determined the cause of our difficulties and wanted to know if we would like him to go ahead and address it. Considering we had been waiting for over a year for the original company to straighten out the problem, we urged Giuseppe to begin the repairs as soon as possible. We now have a landscape lighting system that functions properly, looks great, and doesn't blow out lamps every day! This from a company that has just begun working in the exterior lighting business. AND, while he was repairing it, Giuseppe made a some additional improvements to the system by adding a few fixtures and moving several others, all resulting in a much better overall look. PLUS, he guaranteed all the lamps for a year!!!

We loved these guys and will definitely use them again! Ricardo Baldi was our contact for the job. He responded promptly to bid the job. Mr. Baldi is easy to work with. He is honest and fair and very professional. He offers great suggestions and ideas. He and his team showed up on time and on the expected dates. The team brought supplies needed for each days work. They did not leave construction materials on our property. They cleaned and picked up at the conclusion of each day and never left a mess. The work exceeded our expectations in every way. We were very pleased in how they went above and beyond what we asked for. We are planning to have more work done this fall and we will be calling Baldi Gardens again. Highly, highly recommend them.

The start of this story emerged from an excrutiating experience in 2010 with Harvest Landscape Services on Josh Rd in Fort Worth. I found Baldi Gardens review here on Angie's List and have enjoyed their work on my landscape since August 2011. The sinkhole referred to above came from the work Harvest Landscape Services did in 2010. The solution for this hole was developed and managed by Giuseppe Baldi. The crushed tanks had to be exposed and then hauled out when it was determined that they were badly damaged and beyond repair. Three new tanks (which are recycled syrup containers) were assembled at ground level to create 900 gallon capacity for collecting roof runoff water. Overflow lines have been installed against rainfall beyond the tank capacities. The rain garden helps my yard absorb the rain rather than throw it away down the storm sewer. The result of this large undertaking leaves me delighted with the creativity, reliability, skills, competence, and honesty of the Baldi Gardens family and crew members.

This project went so well it is hard to express my delight. The raised garden's repair is strong and sturdy. The vegetables planted at that end are thriving. The granite walkways are a pure pleasure to walk over and lovely to see. No more risk of stumbling and my elder sisters can visit my garden without coming to harm.
