There was no upselling. They came out and did the job and left. They were friendly and very professional.

They provided really good service, they showed up on time, and gave good instructions on caring for our lawn.

It went excellent. Everything went very smooth. Carlo met with us multiple times and made sure we were all on the same page (we made a few changes throughout the process). They were even able to install the french drain ahead of schedule. Our backyard had terrible flooding issues, the slightest rain and it was unusable - the patio would be under standing water and the rest of the yard would be a mud pit for a week. Baldi Gardens put in a 125 ft french drain with all the bells and whistles - all the down spouts in the back yard and side yard are connected to it, it has a grate in a spot that gets run-off from a few yards, and goes all the way to the street and exits out the core-drilled curb. Haven't had standing water since - and we've had some storms that would have flooded the yard up to the threshold of the back door in the past. Couldn't be happier with it, and I'm so glad I didn't go the grab a few buddies and a weekend route. The patio and retaining wall go hand in hand, the wall needed to be hooked 90 degrees and extended to allow for the extra patio space. The wall is beautiful - well done and makes great extra seating. The extended patio looks great, and we're not sure if we are going to acid wash or do stone over it, but even bare it looks like it should be there, doesn't look like a late add-on. BOTTOM LINE: All the work shows the great pride they take in what they do. Work was not done to meet expectations, but to exceed. Everywhere they went got better - and that's not just hyperbole, they seriously cleared some dead junk out of my side yard and trimmed some trees that were along their path. They also went ahead and replaced a rotted out railroad tie near the ones they were moving. They also moved the sprinkler system since the patio changed things. Everything was done with great care. My wife would also like to add that they never left any trash, and she never felt uncomfortable having them work around the house while she was home alone, even after dark (I was at work, and they had to work some long hours to squeeze in that early french drain).

I bought a deal from Angie's List on Feb 18, 2013 but it wasn't until March 27th that our schedules worked out to get the job done. They did and good job and I am well pleased.

Baldi Gardens must have more work than they can handle since it has been two weeks from my initial contact and I still have not received their quote for lawn and tree fertilization treatment. I initially contacted this company on April 4th via their web page, submitting an online request for a quote for lawn and tree fertilization. After a few days with no response, I resubmitted my request. After my second request, I received a voice message and e-mail on April 8th from Carlo Baldi stating "I have left you a couple voicemails, not sure what happened there but how can we help you?" I had no missed calls and I just got his voice message at the time of the e-mail. Giving him the benefit of doubt on the delay, I called him and told him the information that I had written in my two quote requests. He then said that he was not the guy to handle this and gave the phone to Josepe. Josepe stated he would give me a quote in a couple of days. I thought this strange since other companies have given me a quote real-time using software hooked into satellite services. Notwithstanding, I chose to wait for their quote. It has been two weeks since my initial contact with Baldi Gardens and I have not received a quote or a phone call explaining the delay. I gave Baldi Gardens every opportunity to get my business and they chose to not give me the courtesy to tell me they are too busy for my business. If they treated me this poorly prior to getting my business, just think how bad they may treat me if I had decided to give them my business. No thanks, I don't want anything to do with Baldi Gardens. I don't typically write such bad reviews, but this company has really irritated me with their lack of professionalism and their non-responsiveness.

This company is terrible. My appointment for lawn aeration was delayed because they claimed to have truck maintenance problems. Baldi's technicians that did the work DID NOT know how to core aerate the lawn. The technicians claim that this was a new machine and they were just learning how to use and I was one of the first customers. My entire lawn was CHOPPED up not professionally aerated. Presently I am spending extra to have my lawn repaired and corrected. In addition Baldi's technicians DID NOT clean THE MACHINE from the previous customer before working on my lawn. As a result my lawn was covered with hundreds of wild weeds that I had to remove my hand. If they would have cleaned their machine before coming to my house, then I would not have the weeds. Bottom line, I DO NOT recommend this company.

The crew was late but I called and was told they had some equipment issues and got started causing them to be behind schedule. when they did arrive they were very profesional and did an excellent job.

They arrived on time and completed the work as promised.

Immediately after purchasing the service I recieved an e-mail from the company advising they were in the process of scheduling the work. Shortly, thereafter I was asked if a particular date was acceptable and I agreed. It was all handled by the numbers. These people know what they are doing.

It went well. The only minor issues were a couple of small patches of lawn that weren't aerated, and some of the plugs getting onto the sidewalks. Overall a good service for a very good price.

They came and took care of it and left, that was it. Everything went fine. It was a good value.

I chose Baldi because of their excellent reviews. I needed some pathways and bed extensions in my small backyard. They came promptly to look at the job. However, it took me 3 calls to finally get a plan of the job and then it was a hand drawn, unreadable plan. I finally told them to cancel as I had no idea if what they planned was what I'd asked for. I felt like I had to hound them to get a response. I don't think they really wanted the job.

They were punctual and worked hard. They were courteous and professional, they explained everything that they would do. I would reccomend them to anyone.

Purchased the service, he contacted me promptly by e-mail, told me approximately when he would be in the area. I got home from work one day and the work was completed. I would have liked to know when he was coming as I asked if he could do the backyard, however we have a locked gate, I could have left it open and would have paid extra for it to be done. Maybe next time. Thank you

They waited a few weeks after I purchased the Angie's product for this service before I heard from them. He seemed professional. I was surprised no effort was made to access my backyard. No effort was made to come through the back gate. I did an email to them as I had my car under the carport which made access from the front more difficult and said there was an entrance from the back. I received no response at all. So basically little of the work was completed.

Company very easy to work with to schedule my appointment. Very professional! I have taken advantage of the 10% off for a year's lawn treatment. I have had my first appointment for that and no problems. I will continue to post updates as the year/lawn treatments progress.

They should up as expected. They asked me if I could turn on my sprinklers so they could mark them. Aerated front yard and then the back yard.

I was contacted to set up a service date and they showed up as committed. They completed the aeration on the front and side yards but not the backyard. I happened to be home at the time and asked why they did not aerate the backyard. They said they could not get the machine through the gate. My gate has a 35"clearance but don't know the width of the machine. I inquired via email to the owner asking if he would be returning to complete the backyard with another machine/tool or provide a $20 refund. The response received was that they did not have another machine and that I would need to contact Angies List for a refund since I paid through Angies LIst.

The crew showed up on time and worked quickly. They uprooted the weeds and what was left of the old plants, installed a new stone border around the planting beds, and planted the new bushes and flowers to the exact specifications of the landscape design that had been provided. They had the whole thing done within a single day and my house now has the curb appeal that I needed. I will definitely be using them again.

This time I was sick in bed with the flu, but the gentlemen worked efficiently and fairly quietly. The blower engine outside my bedroom window was what alerted me to their presence. I've been doing business with Guiseppe Baldi and his staff since 2011. He's provided repairs to work done by a previous contractor. I couldn't have asked for better service at reasonable costs. They always work to provide the results needed whether it is pruning crepe mrytles appropriately, or planting new trees, or pruning shrubs and rose bushes. They care about their work and do it excellently.

It went pretty well. They didn't order enough sod to finish the job, but everyday for three days, they did bring left over sod to completely finish the job.

Came in as scheduled, did a great job, completed work on time.
