Great! It went fantastic and the car was probably there two days. There was a back bumper that had to be replaced and a back quarter panel on the car. We have been using them for about 10 years and whenever they give you an estimate on cost, it holds true, there is no surprises. When you come back it is even going to be more expensive. They explain very clearly what the problem is and what they are going to do to repair that problem and they get the car back in a pretty timely manner. So it works out real good.

Overall, price was comparable to other auto repair places and I would use them again.

Acme Garage was an awesome experience.  I called and was able to take my car in and pick it up the same day.  All personnel were very friendly and professional.  Although they only had to bleed my brakes and add brake fluid, they were not like many other automobile shops that say you need other work done or charge you an outrageous price for something that is netiher time consuming or difficult...in other words, they didn't take advantage of me because I'm a woman.  I would definitely use them again.

Customer satisfaction is not a priority for this garage. At least...the cultivation of new customers is not a priority. 
I will never go back...nor will I recommend to others.

The truck first died when the timing chain broke.  We fixed that ourselves.  Thought that was all that was wrong with the truck.  When we ran it, it ran terribly & we found out we had water in the oil.  Knew right away the head gaskets were blown.  Called around to several other companies on Angie's List and found ACME to be the most reasonable.  Had the vehicle towed and they promised it within a week.  When they sent the heads to see if they could be "shaved" they were told they were bad and could not be saved (saw all parts).  The heads were replaced and the men took it for a test drive. Called us and we went to speakto them.  They told us what they needed to do, how much it would cost and we let them repair the vehicle.  (Mind you, this is an 84 Chevy truck).  The let us go down and watch, they explained everything & stated they would not let the vehicle go to us "if it had problems."  They warrant their work, were very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable.  We were very happy with their services and I will use them again!  Don't expect a fancy waiting room as there is none.  Do expect fair & honest men to work on your vehicle.

The mechanic discovered the drive belt for the power steering was damaged and was hitting the side of the engine.  He called me to let me know what he had found.  I let him know that I had just had the belt replaced last week.  He gave me the option to return to the original shop to have it replaced.   I opted to let him replace it and I would deal with the original shop later.  He replaced the belt in a very short time and called me to let me know the car was ready. 

They did a good job, and I am pleased with them. They are not reasonable. I paid them a lot of money and it could be reasonable. I did not shop around. They are located close by, and I trust them. I got them off Angie’s list. I have dealt with many mechanics, and I think that they are really reputable. I think they did their best. They always try to accommodate me when I want. They are willing to drive me home. I do not know if they are expensive, but I am okay with me. They are very friendly. The guy that owns the garage is not always there. He is a very nice pleasant man. They take their time to explain things to me and answer all my questions. Sometimes there is just one guy there. They are closed on Fridays and Saturdays and that could be a problem.

Car would vibrate when brakes were applied. Curtis diagnoised and called me with an estimate. I called and made an appointment on friday and he made an appointment for the following Monday. I took the car in and got it back the following day. He fixed the problem in a timly manner at a fair price. Curtis's wife runs the office and in her own right is very professional. I liked working with both and would not hesitate in recommending them for any auto repairs.

We were completely satisfied.

Well about a month ago I had the guys at Acme garage replace an alternator on my Honda accord. It has almost 200,000 miles on it, so I told them to also replace some of the belts and do whatever needed to be done to keep the car on the road for another 100,000 miles. They had the opportunity to suggest replacing things that didn't need replaced at that point but nothing like that happened. Some of the things I thought needed to be done they actually told me didn't need to be done yet. No up sell here. A few weeks later, I had an accident on the highway as I referred to above and had my car towed back to them for some major repair work. They worked with the insurance company and did great work. Along with the mechanic work, there was some paint work involved and I'm not sure who they had do the painting but you can't even tell that it was ever damaged. The new paint blends perfectly with the 10 year old paint. The car looks and runs great!

Acme drove my car to test to see if the dealer was correct on the diagnosis. They ran it for me and checked it for me. If he doesn't see anything wrong with my car he didn't charge me. Angie's List recommend him to people. I trust him and he very friendly to work with.

I have been using Acme Garage for many years. I think that they are excellent and they always do a really good job. Their prices are reasonable, fair, and honest. I have never really had any big problems with them.

When I got there he said it was in excellent shape. He said to come back in 10,000 miles and he would check it. I thought he was very honest. He could have took advantage of me. He will get all of my future auto work. My husband is going to be taking his vehicle over there soon. I would recommend him.

My husband and I were very pleased with the work done on our truck. I called for an appointment and an over the phone estimate. I was told to bring the truck in anytime, and he stayed within the estimate quoted. I talked with Curtis, the owner, who was very professional as well as friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely call him again for any repair needs. Thank you.

THEY ALWAYS REPAIR MY CAR QUICKLY, AND AT A REASONABLE RATE. I KNOW THAT THEY WILL NOT RECOMMEND WORK THAT I DO NOT NEED.
