They did a good job. Only problem was I had a lot of leaves that had been on the ground a while so it was hard to get them up. Also they did not have a big enough truck to haul them all at once so two trips were required which added to the cost. A bigger truck would help.

After some delays and failure to communicate, they arrived. And when they did so, they were excellent! I would employ them again and in fact intend to do so for more general yard care and landscaping.

I needed to have the large field where my parent's home sits mowed and cleaned up. We are listing the property and house for sale and though most of the field had been mowed with a tractor, there was thick undergrowth beneath the trees, and the overall appearance was very overgrown and unkempt. Our budget was limited, but Nick was very responsive to my request to prioritize the work so that it would provide maximum visual impact. Nick and his crew showed up on time with multiple machines and equipment. They got right to work, clearing brush and mowing. The mowers were so well coordinated, it made me think of a lawn mowing ballet! As the crew progressed, and I could see how the field was 'shaping up', Nick asked for my approval and input. He listened, and had the crew focus on the areas I wanted to emphasize. Final result - the place looks park-like! I am very pleased. Nick is clearly a professional. He has the equipment needed. He and his team are friendly, but they do not waste time. They know what they are doing and they work hard. Would hire them again and would recommend them.

Nick and his crew were fantastic! I would highly recommend Yaardvark for your landscaping needs. They went above and beyond to make sure that our yard was leaf free, and we had a ton of them! They also cleaned all of our gutters for us. The communication was outstanding from first contact to completion. They actually showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would, and did a great job! I will be calling them again in the spring.

The provider contacted me promptly after purchasing an Angie's List deal. My home was a bit out of their standard coverage area, but they kept me updated on the next time they would be available to provide the service. I was out of town when they were able to complete the service, and they provided photos via email of the work done. The deal was $99 for a set number of hours that didn't quite cover the work. The provider contacted me ahead of time to ask whether I wanted to pay for additional work hours, if needed, and estimated that they may need an additional hour to complete the job for $45. Very satisfied with the work, as well as the level of communication.

Blew all the leaves off shrubs & blew them out to the street & vacuumed them up in the front of the house. Behind the house they were blown down beyond the tree line which leads to the Cumberland River. This took longer than their quote of $99 for one person working for 4 hrs. We gladly paid extra to complete the task. We then paid them to mow. They did a superb job.

My regular yard guys came and did all the work before the company came out.

It went great! I was able to communicate with Yaardvark via text, which is easiest for me. They came when I expected and the service was completed efficiently. I am very satisfied with them and I intend to use them again in the future.

Everything went smoothly. Quick response and scheduling of the appointment. Showed up as promised and did a great job cleaning up the lawn and beds of leaves. I will definitely work with them again.

I asked for an estimate through Angie's List, they happened to be in the area and came by and gave me an estimate in less than an hour. They offered to do the job on the spot. I was not ready to make the decision that day. After a couple of days and a few other estimates(all in the same ballpark), I decided to go with Yaardvark. After approving the work on Saturday night, they were at my house Monday(Columbus Day) morning to do the job. All correspondence with Nick was extremely prompt. I am happy with the job and would definitely use them again.

Yaardvark arrived promptly on October 9, 2014; the planting beds were prepped; plants were laid out and adjusted to our liking.

I called Yaardvark in a hurry as two other landscapers (different companies) had been previously scheduled to come and redo some landscaping in the front of the house to improve the curb appeal before putting it on the market. Both of them left me high and dry and never showed. I called Yaardvark and he came out as promised to take a look and provide an estimate. His ideas and estimate were both very good. Unfortunately, he's so good that he would not have been able to schedule the work in the next couple of days due to his commitments. I certainly appreciated him showing up when he said he would and for being honest up front. He was very nice and very professional. I'd recommend him based on his ideas of what to do, the costs he estimated and for reliability. I will call him again next time I need some landscaping done.

Nick was very helpful, listened to my likes and dislikes, seemed to have a good grasp of horticulture and landscape design....told me to give him a few weeks and he would email me some landscape designs but I'm still waiting....

I am very pleased! Nick was quick to respond the first time I called him, and even though I am a bit out of his usual business area, he agreed to come by and take a look at my project. I can not really describe just how bad this brush clearing was but I can say this. When he measured it he said it was 121 feet long and he had NO idea just how deep back it went because he couldn't climb through because it was so thick! He wanted to help me get all this mess cleared out, so we decided on a fair price for a full days work. He showed up with 4 other guys and a chipper around 10:00 am and by around 3:00 pm they were leaving. Those men did an awesome job, they worked steady (I did not see ANY slacking). They had a chipper that was going just about all the time and they started a big burn pile for the stuff that would not fit in the chipper. He even gave me some pointers on how to keep the area clean in the future to keep it under control. I am SO glad to finally have this mess in the back of my yard cleared and I wish I had found Nick and his crew sooner!! His number is forever locked in my contact list! Donna

Nick Miller and his team at Yaardvark provided oustanding service in a flexible, professional manner! We enjoyed working with Nick because he listened to our needs, desires for our landscape redesign, provided a detailed, complete estimate of the requested work, and followed up to confirm his estimate met our needs. My wife and I were unable to arrive at a final decision on what work we wanted Yaardvark to complete, but Nick was very patient. When we finally arrived at our decision in mid-June, Nick was able to quickly work us into his schedule for the week of July 4th. He and his team arrived on the date scheduled and kept us informed on the progress of their work and plans for finishing the second day. At the conclusion of each day, the team cleaned up our yard before leaving. It went very well...Nick has an eye for beauty and he chose the right plants for the right places. Nick is very knowledgeable about plants and landscaping. He will draw it all out on his laptop to show you what it looks like before making any decisions. He returns time and time again to check on our plants. His employees are very polite and professional. I will use Nick for my future landscaping needs.

Called Company for an estimate to aerate and re-seed my lawn. Nick returned my call within 10 minutes and came out that afternoon and gave estimate for above work. I wanted to get at least 2 more estimates, but unfortunately, no one else returned my calls, so I went with Yaarvark. Nick Plummer and his crew came out 2 days later, removed all leaves from yard, performed work as promised at agreed upon price. They were very professional, courteous and did a great job. He will return your call and follow up. I would certainly use this company again.

The owner, Nick and crew do a great job. Very responsive to my ideas and offers great options that met my needs. I was so happy with my front yard I had them landscape my back yard as well.
