Yaardvark Landscape Management

We recently moved to Brentwood and Nick had looked after our house prior to us owning it so we continued to have him take care of our yard. Nick has been great at communicating prices, scope or work etc. Anytime there has been something wrong, Nick has addressed it quickly (example: this morning there was an issue and we texted him photos and he drove over within 15 minutes). I would highly recommend Nick.

This is an ongoing project, with improvements, adjustments etc. The service is great, we have had some other yard projects done by Nick too.

Everything went great! They were able to finish the front in a day and came back promptly to finish the back. They were very professional and did a very beautiful job! The yard is gorgeous! They have been also checking in and giving me tips to help get it established since they are also my regular lawn care guys. Overall, I am very happy and I highly recommend them for both routine yard upkeep and more major jobs like installing a yard!

The work was completed as discussed within one day :) -- they assured all utility lines were marked, they were prompt around time/date, they communicated well throughout the process, and the work more than met my expectation. Definitely easy to work with and team was friendly. They cleaned up completely as well. Defiantely a top notch job, would definitely use them again for any Landscape work/projects I have in the future.

He was very professional and polite and was able to give me a window of time where we could schedule them to do the work. Thought Angie's List coupon would cover the whole yard. It didn't because of a great number of leaves and height of the grass. My wallet is light but back yard looks pretty good. Happy Thanksgiving.

Nick and his team are AMAZING ! I sent an email request and one hour later received a call back. They came out the very same day and stayed past dusk to finish the job. Our yard is quirky, broken up into 3 distinct yards and has many beds - front and back - and a deck the entire length of the house. It was absolutely littered with dead leaves and was a mess. They wrangled the leaves by using leaf blowers - three people side-by-side, walking the property. It was like watching the Ghostbusters! After working 1/2 the property the pile of leaves was over 3 feet tall. I can't even imagine what it looked like at the street where their mulching machine was working. Within 45 minutes the leaves disappeared and were taken away (hopefully to be recycled). It was like magic. It would have taken me days and much back pain to rake the yard myself. Once the landscaping scourge of the block, our house is pretty again now. They were so professional, so pleasant and SO reasonably priced. I would recommend Yaardvark Landscape Management to anyone and plan to use them again in the future. I just can't say enough good things about the experience.

It was amazing to watch. My husband had blown most of the front yard leaves in our ditch which was a very large amount. The crew came and with their massive blowers blew all the leaves that were in our bushes, and others on the yard toward the ditch. Then they had this huge vacuum that sucked them all up in this tunnel bag into their truck. They then went to our very large back yard and blew all those leaves up to the street and did the same thing. When they left, our yard did not look as though we had a single tree in it for leaves to even fall from. I was impressed and so was my husband. We highly suggest this service for anyone that hates raking leaves yearly, or just wants all your neighbors to be envious of how great your yard will look after these guys finish .

With in no time of leaving Nick a message he called back and we went over what I wanted done. With in a few days his crew was out and on top of the job. The work that was done looked amazing. I will be using Yaardvark again. Highly recommended!!!!!

Contacted Nick based on positive reviews and 'Super Service Award' status. The business phone number is his cell number and if he does not answer immediately he will call back. I realized quickly that he is not just the owner (i.e. in an office) but that he works daily on his properties in addition to his crews so sometimes he is unable to answer right away. The cost I listed above was a rough estimate for the money I have spent with Nick since he started with me and includes some one-time costs along with ongoing expenses: irrigation repair, mowings/trimmings, aeration, seeding, overseeing, fertilization. IRRIGATION SYSTEM Early this summer, I contacted Nick for a quote on irrigation system repair. We purchased a house that was in significant disrepair (now remodeled) and I believed the irrigation system would also turn out to be expensive to make functional again. Metro water had already locked the irrigation system due to a leak. I had it unlocked so he could inspect the system. Nick called me back the same day and arranged a meeting time the next day. I have 12 zones on a 0.75 acre lot. He believed that the system was overall in decent shape and that it could be made fully functional for minimal expense. He had good ideas for repairs and I could tell he was more interested in gaining a loyal customer than he was in profit. System was repaired in one day and passed inspection. The overall cost was half of what I expected. My wife thought I was a hero for the money we spent compared what we feared. MOWING I have a bermuda grass front lawn and fescue back yard. I was still mowing my own lawn (honda push mower) at that point and trying to handle my own over-seeding + fertilization. Nick gave me a reasonable quote for mowing, fertilization and over-seeding if I ever wanted help. By July I realized I could not keep up with the constant demands of the yard and I asked Nick to take over mowing for me. His crew does a great job and made my life considerably easier. What really won me over was one day I was home from work with my daughter who was sick and Jeremy (one of his crew) knocked on the door. Jeremy informed me that there had not been much growth this past week and that the yard really did not need mowing. He offered to skip my yard to save us one weeks cost. I was blown away. Most crews would have just thoughtlessly plowed through the list of yards and charged me the usual weekly rate. That speaks to the philosophy that Nick has with his company and customers. AERATION/SEEDING My backyard (fescue) was a mess due to a large tree that was previously in the middle. It had cast a large shadow over the back yard and allowed violet creeper to overtake the fescue. The tree was now removed but the grass was not uniform and not healthy. I had tried to plant fescue this spring but was late in my planting and the fescue grass did not survive (novice mistake). I then asked Nick to take over. He recently (September 2015) aerated my entire property and re-seeded the back yard. Again, the cost was very reasonable. PAYMENT Nick sends invoices via Intuit software to my email. I created an account which has my bank account saved securely. I can review the detailed invoice each month and pay on my phone or computer with a few clicks of the button. I found an error on one invoice and texted Nick who responded quickly and sent a new invoice. Very easy to review and pay. SERVICE In addition to what I described above, on a day-to-day level I can call or text Nick with questions and he responds by the same afternoon or next day if not immediately. This past week, I had one sprinkler head that was malfunctioning and he repaired it the next day. I am selling my mower and looking forward to spending more time with my kids playing on our fantastic looking lawn.

No communication from Nick other than initial contact. We would consider still having them do the work of we could just get the quote. We believe they are a good company but we are perplexed as to why we haven't gotten any responses.

I just moved into a house and the yard looked like a jungle. They called me back immediately and were out within a couple of days. They are now mowing weekly. It looks very professionally done. They are punctual and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend them. A lot of service providers are very slow to respond in Nashville. I called Nick today, didn't even leave a message and he called back immediately. They are a breath of fresh air! I also needed help with tree cutting services. They reached out to service providers on my behalf and one called me back within 10 minutes. This company is well respected by me and other service providers and deservedly so.

It was done sooner than I expected - day 1 of a 2 wk. window. It was done by 4 professional young men who worked very diligently. I was asked several times if I was pleased with what they were doing. They were willing to go back & do it differently. This company does my weekly mowing & their quality of work is A+. The men are so friendly & polite. I'm asked if I want the mowing done when we have dry spells. My lawn has never looked better.

The Yaardvark team fixed a drainage issues between my house and the house next door. The performed the service quickly and it was done very well. It seems to be working find and communication on this job was very good. A bit of the fence was damaged and while it took a few days to get that repaired it was done well. Very satisfied overall.

They did a good job and were on time. The downside is that, even with their discount, the bottom line cost to me was virtually identical to the people that I had been using in the past.. so any future work done by them should prove more costly than the previous provider. I will probably go back to previous provider since there was no evident upgrade in the service provided, and no money saved even with a discount.

Nick Plummber and his team did an AWESOME job with adding a tree line in our backyard for privacy, as well as transplanting current landscaping to allow for future growth. Nick and his staff were extremely pleasant to work with, actively listened to requirements, and then timely delivered on those expectations. Nick took care of our property as if it was his own. We plan to utilize his services again in the fall. I would highly recommend Yaardvark to my neighbors, and family.

I couldn't hire them. They don't do lawn mowing services in my area.

They were prompt and courteous. Picked up the leaves efficiently and were on their way w/in 4 hours; would use them again..

The owner is very nice, did a good job. Also, did some landscaping, moving dirt ( in large area behind house) for better drainage with french drains where water would stand after hard rain. What he did worked!

Nick and his team are fantastic! We ordered the Angie's list deal for leaf pick-up and removal for $99. Nick was on-time and on budget for this. I was pleased with the work and since our yard is small he mowed as well. I thought this was a nice addition since he's team did not take the full hour. I would recommend Nick and his team for any landscape work you need. Since our initial work with Nick I've discussed other projects that I have a need for with Nick and I'll be sending more of my business his way in the future.
