It went well, it completely changed my way of thinking about using local vs. long distance moving companies. I met these guys at the storage unit in Nashville and they were doing such a great job moving someone else's belongings. I looked them up on Angie's List, and hired them for our own job. They were pleasant, courteous, competent, reasonably priced, and I would give them the highest rating possible.
Description of Work: They picked up our furniture in Nashville and moved it to a storage facility in Asheville.

They were wonderful. Booking the job was very easy. Their prices were extremely competitive. The movers called early to let me know they were on the way. They arrived on the job early. They worked quickly and efficiently; nothing was damaged, and they took good care not to damage walls, floors, etc. They made our move much easier. I would definitely recommend them!

Great! They were on time, professional and fast. We had stuff split between our apt and a storage unit. They picked up both locations and moved it in to our new house without issue. Great service and great attitudes (we were on a 3rd floor apt) all around! Price was extremely fair. I highly recommend these guys!

Awful, they schedule me and then I had schedule with them before I moved and then I made the appointment online as requested then the day came for me to move I didn't hear anything from them well actually two days before I called them making sure everything was in order and they said they didn't have any appointment and so I was left in the last minute scrambling trying to find some way to move. although they apologies and everything it still knock me in my terrible position.

If I did it, it was good. It went well for me. They were here three or four months later than the purchase date. There were additional fees. It was probably about $200 plus more than the big deal. The amount to the charge of travel time and it cut into my actual moving time.

I don’t have enough thumbs up to give for this company. It was the easiest and most efficient move I have. That’s why two thumbs up are not enough for them. They were very good in moving my furniture and boxes. They were hard working professionals, who moved stuff like organized ants. Thank for being my movers and thank you for having great employees. This is the main reason why my move went really well.

Great experience! Our movers were Kerry and Jacob and they were very professional, efficient, and personable. I got a great rate on my moving services and they completed the work earlier than I expected! I would absolutely use True Friends movers again and I would ask for Kerry and Jacob!

Most everything went fine. On time. Professional. Courteous. Energetic and did not complain during the move. I like this company and will use them again. Only a few of minor issues: 1 - I did not know about the 3% service charge for paying with a credit card until after the move 2 - I did not know there was a $25 charge for each additional stop above 2 3 - I don't move much and I was a little surprised to hear from the movers at the end that they expected a tip. Since I'm a little naive about the tipping I just went ahead and tipped them generously because they did a good job.
Description of Work: Made 4 stops as I requested. Moved everything. Nothing broken. Local move, didn't have to drive very far.

Description of Work: Helped us move ... Cory and Ben were right on time and carefully packed all our furniture and set them in our new house. The entire process took around 8 hours and they dared rain and cold weather to help us move. We are very happy with their service, their professional attitude and their politeness while conversing with us. Excellent. They were on time and very quick. All of them were great, but one of the movers in particular - Carlos - is very quick. I would definitely use them again if the need were to arise.

It was a wonderful experience. The movers, Ben and Ben, we're very professional. They were very efficient with their time. They wrapped furniture with plastic and padding. Our stuff made it to our new home in great shape! We will definitely use them again if we ever move!

For a full-service move, we sure worked awfully hard. THE M0VE WAS A TOTAL DISASTER!!!
Description of Work: They were supposed to pack us August 26th and move us August 27th. The moving box company Chris recommended did not leave enough tape to completely pack us so the 2 True Friends men could only pack till tape ran out in 2 hours then left. Evidently there is no proper communication between Chris, the owner of True Friends, and his men. The morning of our move, 2 men showed up late cause they stopped for tape which was ok but they had been told that we were packed except for some kitchen stuff, and ready to load on the truck. Boy oh boy were they shocked to see that 95% was left to be packed! After a few hours, it was clear that unless we helped pack, it would be way after dark before we reached our new home 32 miles away. Thank God my sister and sister-in-law were there and we all 4 jumped in to pack boxes and filled our big touring van plus my sister-in-law's car. We finally got unloaded at our new place at 6:00pm. We were all soooo tired that we just put boxes where we could and a few managed to get in the right room. The total time that owner Chris quoted me before I hired them was 6 hours at $99 per hour. It ended up being 13 hours or over double what we were quoted. I will get any future work from anybody in a signed contract!

I used them to unload since I had just moved to TN from AR. They arrived on time. I probably had over 250 boxes plus lots of furniture (a Uhaul truck and trailer) and they had it unload in about 2 1/2 hours. I was 2 guys and they never stopped to take a break one time. I offered them water since it was in July in the heat and they wouldn't even stop for that. I had used a coupon that I obtained from Angie's List which made my cost go down. They were very professional and very fast which saved me money. They put my 2 beds together and hooked up the washer and dryer. I would definitely use them again if I move. They were great!! They emailed me my receipt instead of giving it to me at the time of service, which was fine with me. One less piece of paper that I had to keep up with while unpacking boxes. So it is in my email in case I lose it. They were awesome!!!

First, let me say the guys that were the actual movers were fantastic. Hard working and courteous. My complaint is leveled at managment. First, no bill was left with my wife to justify the cost or to account for the coupon purchased. It appeared no credit was given for the coupon in the final price. I asked for a review of the final cost but no one has bothered to contact me back to discuss this. I am considering a BBB complaint since it was a significant amount of cost involved for a fairly simple move. Disappointing, since the crew work was great, but if you have trust issues with managment, I can't recommend them.

Well, we purchased the deal on Angie 's List on Monday, they called Tuesday with an opening due to a cancellation. They arrived on time and ready to work! We have moved all over the country countless times, and like I told the office manager these two young men (Paul and Marcos) had a great attitude, super quick, courteous and most importantly, gentle with our belongings and our home! It was great to have movers over and not complain about the stairs, weight of furniture, tight spaces etc. which we have experienced before, Like I mentioned earlier, they had a cancellation that day and I took it, so I did not have the house as organized as I would have liked to, but that did not get in the way of Paul and Marcos getting the job done, and promptly!. The next time I need items moved around I will not hesitate to call True Friends Moving! Thanks for helping me get my house around!!

Guys were about an hour late,but kept in touch to let me know what was going on. It appeared when they arrived that they had no idea they were doing a big job and came in a truck too small for everything that needed moving. This meant an additional trip and extra time. Got that worked out and the guys worked very hard. The job took all day (10-6:30) and then they had to go to another job. Scheduling seems to be an issue, but the guys who moved me worked hard and earned their pay for sure.
