Description of Work: Very nice service man. Unable to replace faucet as the location of the faucet is near the bottom of the house, and he couldn't fix unless he crawled underneath the house and replaced pipes as well, estimating an additional 200 to 300 dollars more of work.

Description of Work: 20 point air conditioning system check. Service technician was very knowledgeable, professional, provided helpful practical advice. I plan to continue having Advanced Heating and Air service my system.

Description of Work: I was disappointed because I was really interested in having the problem with our furnace fixed. I explained this to the woman with whom I scheduled the repair. The technician who came was very pleasant and polite. However he did nor seem to know how to diagnose the problem we were having with our furnace. He suggested that we have a tune up on the furnace in the fall. He thought the problem might be uncovered then. He did tune up the air conditioner, and it seems to work fine. But I really wanted to know why our furnace behaves so erratically. If we have to make a major repair or even replace the unit, I'd like some time to plan for such an expense. Description of Work: We ordered the $399 whole home humidifier deal. When they got out they said due to the type of ducts we have and because the water lines were not close enough that it would cost us an additional $595. We can't afford to pay that much extra. They said we should request a refund for the purchase.

Description of Work: In the process of installing the humidifier we decided to have the ducts cleaned. Unfortunately this led to a discovery that the existing duct system ended blindly in spots, wasn't connected to the duct work in other areas--a real mess. We were quoted a price for duct replacement that discounted the cost of the duct cleaning. The staff was punctual and polite. The job took 3 days to complete and we were kept informed at all times.

Description of Work: They cleaned the air ducts in our home and I believe they did a good job. Since I can't really see down into the ducts I have to trust that they did, but they seemed to be very trustworthy people. We have an older home and it took more cleaning and moving around than suspected at first but it all worked out very well

Description of Work: The technician arrived on time. He explained the process, immediately went to work. Work was finished in a timely manner, the systems checked to ensure operation, and I was given a full explanation of what was done and options I have. Very professional, great value! I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I had purchased an AC evaluation and tune-up. When the technician arrived, he asked where my unit was, and I said in the attic. He mentioned something else that indicated to me that he was going to check the heating unit as well, so I said, "Oh, so the furnace is included in this, too?" He said, yes and proceeded with his inspection. After the technician had been here for about 20-25 minutes, he came to me and said that everything looked good. When I asked if he'd cleaned the coils and looked at the drain pan, he looked confused and then said well, that's the AC you're talking about. I just looked at your furnace. When I told him I'd paid for an AC tune up, he was surprised and said they weren't doing AC tune ups any more at this time of year. I found the site where I'd paid for the tune-up voucher, and it showed that it was indeed for an AC tune up. The guy said that had to have been a mistake, but asked if I'd like for him to check the AC. I told him that I did want him to, as that's what I thought he was going to check in the first place. This was because my AC comes on for only a brief time, cools things off quickly, but leaves a lot of humidity/moisture in the house. I thought maybe he could do something to prevent the humidity. About 10 minutes later, the guy reappeared and said he'd checked out the AC and that everything had looked good. I had not watched him do any of the inspection work, so I hope he was honest and did all he said he was going to. He was very polite and professional in manner, and I thought the price - even for one service, although I got two - was reasonable.
