Description of Work: They snaked out a clogged drain. Show up later than expected but still same day service. Found clog and cleared it, then snaked several feet further to be sure there was no secondary issue.

Description of Work: we purchased 2 hours of plumbing service for $79.00. They worked about 10 min fixing a dripping outdoor spicket, then spent the rest of the time telling us why they could not do any of the other projects we asked, like replace some shower heads. They said they had never done an Angie's list deal before, and didn't know what to expect. What a waste. This was the second Angie's list deal that has been a total flop. Two for two.

Description of Work: Didn't hear from them to set up an appointment, so I called them and scheduled. No one called, no one showed. I contacted Angie's List for a refund. Decided to give them one more chance. Scheduled again. Nice tech showed up. He determined he would have to move water heater to replace outside spigot. Quoted quite a higher price that I wasn't willing to pay. Nice guy. Understood my stance. Parted ways with a handshake.

Description of Work: The service was for a 20-point air-conditioning tune-up. Matt, the technician, was very pleasant, thorough, and quite receptive to answering our questions. He also gave us good advice to help keep our system running well. | Wonder of wonders -- we only needed to pay extra for a small boost to our freon on our twelve-year-old unit. This was a terrific special on a tune-up offer!

Description of Work: The tech came out, diagnosed the issue and corrected it quickly. He fixed us up and our A/C is working perfectly. As the system is about on its last leg, I asked for a quote. The tech walked through a number of options, explaining the pros and cons of each. I will be getting a new system from them soon!

Description of Work: I paid for an outside faucet replacement. They told me all I needed to replace was handle and ordered the replacement handle. I called them back two weeks later asking about the replacement handle and remarking that $99 was too much for a replacement handle. They said they would get the guy that did that work out in two day and I would have to talk to the manager. I asked to be called back as the manager was not there to speak to me at the time. I never received a call back from the manager and they left a message with my wife rescheduling the handle replacement. So, I paid $99 for a $5-$10 handle that I could have bought at Lowes or Home Depot and workman's time, not a full replacement faucet. I expected a call back to at least discuss prorating the equipment and work needed.

Description of Work: Paid $59 for a full checkup on the AC and furnace system. Employee was punctual, polite, thorough and answered all my questions by giving straightforward answers. Provided a detailed invoice showing all that was done in the checkup. Will use Advance Heating and Air again when need arises.

Description of Work: They replaced two old spigots, soldering in new ones. He also answered several questions clearly providing quite good information in regard to other plumbing issues. The gentleman was prompt, polite, and did the work well. We were quite pleased with the experience and are very likely to call them for future projects.

Description of Work: They couldn't replace the faucet because of the way the builders installed the faucet. The only way they could replace it is by making a hole in the side of the house. They strengthened the faucet and put a new backwater valve on it for me.

Description of Work: Called the company today after two no shows. They apologized and offered the twenty point AC service for free. They have just "cleaned house with the staff" and are now recovering. The first no show was due to the technician not showing up to work 7 days ago. They are scheduled to show on Monday, 6/22/15. So let's see if they show and what type of service we will receive.
