On time, quick and professional. Explained changes and system. Made suggestions on how to run more efficiently. Came back a few days later to follow up.

They took some time to come out and the guy that came out was really nice. They only charged us a service charge as something was just unplugged in the unit and nothing really need to be fixed.

I had a different provider for my furnace maintenance earlier in the year. By contrast, this company is professional, prompt and knowledgable. They came right away by appointment. The service professional was polite and businesslike. They allowed me to use my "Angie's List" coupon even though it technically did not cover a maintenance plan. I will definitely call them back for the furnace inspection and maintenance in the fall. In Knoxville, well respected heating and air conditioning companies did not return my calls. In this case, my call was taken immediately and my appointment took place promptly. This is why I want to share my good experience with others.

Came home a few nights ago to find our upstairs heat pump not running while the air handler was running. Considering I didn't have the proper tools and have only been in the house about a month we called the Technician in to ensure nothing was overlooked. It took about 3 days to get on the schedule (recent heat wave have caused a bit of a back log) the Technician was schedule to come out the next day. The technician Andrew called ahead as promised and arrived on time. I explained the situation to him and he went to working checking the system out. Turned out to be a blown fuse that I didn't have the proper tools to verify. Andrew was extremely courteous and professional and took the time to go over how my homes system was configured so I could troubleshoot better next time before I call. He also explained to me a few simple maintenance task I could do myself once or twice a year. He also explained it detail how their service contracts work if I wanted to consider that option. While I could have saved myself about some money by doing the fuses myself the knowledge Andrew provided me was worth the money.

Matt Hamilton, our technician, called before coming as promised. He was punctual and did a thorough inspection. He found several other problems that we were concerned about and told us what we needed to do to get them corrected. There was no high pressure push to have us do the work today as it is going to be expensive. What pleased us is that we have had at least three other companies come out to determine the reason we were getting a musty smell in our house, and none of them could find the problem. Matt not only found what it was in a very short time, but gave us several recommendations of steps we need to take to fix the problems. We are just glad that we got someone out here who knew what he was talking about. We were very pleased with the service, and will use Advanced again.

My experience with Andrew from Advanced Heating and Air was fantastic! He was very professional, helpful and took his time to answer my questions despite the fact that it was super hot outside. Record heat, in fact. I highly recommend him and this company for anything cooling related and I will be using them in the future as my heating and cooling go to company.

I was having problems before and was putting off having it worked on, but he was very friendly and explained everything that he was doing. Took his time and went above and beyond what was expected. I am currently living in Kansas but still own my home in Knoxville. My neighbor called me to let me know I had water running into my garage from the A/C. I got on Angie's List and found Advanced Heating and Air. I spoke with David on the phone and he told me he would have someone at my house the next morning. The serviceman called my neighbor and the problem was fixed immediately. The service tech even called to let me know that it was taken care of and that he had cleaned the condenser line also.

Used an Angie's List coupon for the diagnosis, $37.50 (half off service call). As suspected, there was a leak in the coil. The unit was under warranty, but I did not have the paperwork to prove the date of installation. Although there were several back-and-forth phone calls, voice mails and emails Advanced came through (1 month later) and convinced the warranty holder to pay for the leaky coil. Although I would have preferred quicker action on the warranty confirmation, Advanced did continue to work with me to ensure the warranty was honored and checked in every week to ensure things were progressing. The part was eventually covered by warranty and I was only responsible for the labor and refrigerant which amounted to $360.00. Both on the day of the diagnosis and day of the repair, the technicians were punctual, competent, and worked very fast. The house has been a pleasant 72 degrees since the repair was made 6 weeks ago. If I have HVAC issues again, I will definitely call Advanced.

It was expensive. He first wouldn’t give me the 10%, but later since they had to reschedule me then gave me the 10%. Everything else was fine.

Serviced our A/C - came back twice in one day to ensure we'd have cooling that night. An apparent freon leak had frozen the unit, so the serviceman let it "thaw' and came back to recharge the system back to factory specs. We are very disappointed that our Carrier Air Conditioner is leaking freon after only 7 years of use, but we opted to recharge the freon at this time rather than spend almost $2000 on a new compressor! The representative from Advanced Heating and Air, Mr. Matt Hamilton, was extremely professional and fully explained the service we received. We found Advanced on Angie's List, and you can add our endorsement as well. We felt that the amount charged for servicing our A/C was fair and no pressure was exerted to spend more at this time. Went well. Husband managed situation; I wasn't there -- but he seemed pleased.

Matt Hamilton is a trainer and very experienced. He found problems that others weren't able to find. He showed me the problems, didn't just tell me. He was very informative about low cost techniques that can prevent problems in the future.

Great service- they were able to give me a time range for service and called 30 minutes prior to arrival. They had everything needed and fixed within 20 minutes. He also noticed mowing company has been blowing grass into air unit which would be an eventual problem, bit currently unit working fine. Very happy with entire process from scheduling to end result.

We found out on Sunday night/Monday morning of Memorial Day that our AC wasn't working. Not good considering we had company coming over later. My husband looked these guys up on Angie's List and called them. Their message said to go to their website for emergency service. Sure enough, my husband used their site to notify them we'd like service and he was contacted in less than 30 minutes that they would call him. And, they came out in the next hour or so after that. The technician was very pleasant and said that he could try to look for the leak but it would require a thorough dis-assembly. Or, he could just charge it with refrigerant. Of course, we took the second option. We weren't charged for him coming out on a holiday which surprised us. He was quick, personable, and resolved our AC problem on a holiday. What else can I say?!?!

My experience with them was very good. They did the test and part of it was testing the temperature of the air coming out of the indoor vents. They did that and said that everything was operating as it should and I was good to go. They came out in the fall as part of a package that I'd purchased from Angie's List for a fall check-up in preparation for the winter heating season and then coming in the spring to do one for the air conditioning. So, they came out both times. I paid nothing in addition to the Big Deal price, but there were some parts that needed to be replaced, but that was for the visit last fall. They were prompt, coming exactly when they said they would, they spent a reasonable amount of time, got everything done and it was really, pretty painless. They actually called me the very next day to schedule the appointment when they got the information that I'd purchased the deal.

Purchased a Big deal for Advanced Heating and Air. The first time they came out to service our AC unit they found a bad part and had to order it. After a week they came back to install the part and found that something else was wrong the unit also. Service was good but wished they would have found problem the first time when they inspected the unit.

Andrew and an associate came out to my house to fix my Central Air Conditioning System, They indentifed the problems that needed to be addressed and provided me with plenty of details so that I understood what needed to be done. They fixed the issue and my system is working great now. They were professional and really seemed to know what they were doing. I will use them again.

The techs that came out to my house arrived on time and ready to perform the tune-up/inspection service I had purchased through Angie's List. I had a lot of questions since I have not lived at the house long and didn't know many specifics about the unit in my home. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and if they didn't know the exact answer they pointed me in the right direction with additional sources of information. They took their time and did it right the first time, cleaning and inspecting each part of my heat pump and air handler. They added coolant and a bypass in the drain line at no cost to me because "it should have been done this way" and I like that answer. Would definitely use them again.
