Our upstairs Rheem split unit A/C went out in Spring. I did some research on the internet on the type of A/C I wanted to replace it, and came up with Amana as a good quality brand for the money. Amana had a list of installers, and A-1 Certified was one of them. I called Tom for a quotation on a new High Efficiency split system to be installed before the summer heat struck. He came to our house, and did a detailed measurement of the upstairs square footage and determined how many tons of cooling and BTU of heating we needed for the upstairs. We then talked for a while, and I decided on a High Efficiency Amana Heat Pump A/C with a Gas Furnace. Later, the installers came out and did a spectacular job. They ran a new control cable for the Heat Pump through the bowels of my house, to replace my existing control cable. I still don't know how they were able to manage that, because other installers wanted to staple it to the outside of the house. They even had to disassemble the furnace to take it up into the attic. The high efficiency furnace was larger than the old one, so they also had to cut and modify the output duct. I inspected the airworthiness of their job afterwards, and could not find any leaks. This was all done at the initially agreed on price. I am quite happy. We have a very long condensate drain from the attic to the outside of the house. Later that winter, that pipe froze, so an installer came out for free to put a pump in the attic to drain a condensate catch basin into the vent pipe. A fine and elegant solution. I also use them for checkups, and find the HVAC Techs to be knowledgeable and courteous, even when I am at their side, asking them questions while they are working. They are good. I hope they never change. If our downstairs gas pack ever went out, I would call them right away for a quote.

They are really good. They are really professional and they do craft work. I have been downstairs looking at the work and it is extremely well done. They are thorough and clean. They are highly trained by the Lennox factory and they are competent. Tom Thomas is the owner. I told him that I didn't see him on the List and he said that he was not a computer guy; he was a heating and air guy. I got a number of estimates and theirs was the best. They are very good.
