Frontier Foundation and Crawl Space Repair

Actual foundation repair was great. The salesman always tried to sell more than needed though. Thankfully workers were honest about what was really needed. Took quite a while to get our bill straightened out. Work was done well though.

Do not do business with this company! This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. After a 5 hour assessment, we received a quote of approximately $12,000. After waiting almost two months for work to begin, they tore down the drywall and informed us that it would be an additional $8,000. So now they were charging us $20,000, when the two other companies that we had received quotes from said they could do it for $12,000 or $15,000. I had already moved to Ohio and had to sell the house. We had to move and couldn't wait another two months for the other company I would have hired. They left us in a completely helpless situation and made no attempt to make things right. I haven't even gone into the rest of the details because the other things don't even compare to this issue. I hope this review saves someone else from the same nightmare.

The crew that performed the work communicated to me what the process was. In addition, I received a follow up call to ask if I was satisfied with the job.

My service tech was Chris W. He came in and did a thorough inspection of my system and recommended a few things I wasn't aware of. He was very polite and friendly, and quite knowledgeable of the system even recommending another system that I might check out. He cleaned up behind himself and did what I think is an excellent job. Kudos to you Chris.

The foreman was very prompt,answered and asked questions to make sure the work would be performed to my satisfaction. Got the job done expediently and did the job well

Our experience with Frontier Basements was terrible. The project took months longer than originally quoted, mistakes were made repeatedly throughout the project (that WE had to point out and have addressed), and communication was terrible.

Logan was really awesome during the annual inspection and made sure everything was rock solid. We were still having some drainage issues after the remnants of Harvey hit and he came up with a great solution.

They installed 2 sump pumps and did an awesome job. My basement is now dry!! Thanks!!

The work isn't complete yet. We are on the schedule. But so far, the experience has been terrific.

The project start was quite a long time past my contract date, however, the summer heat and humidity is now full bore here and I'm now putting the insulation job to the test. Secondly, as in anything in life these days, it's important for the homeowner to be as educated on the work one's considering done in their home as she can, and to ask informed questions. The beauty of selecting my contractor is that they're trained and certified through Dr. Energy Saver, and because Larry Janesky's online videos about Dr. Energy Saver's various insulation & encapsulation systems are very thorough, highly educational, and as a "visual learner" easy for me to see the importance of the work you want them to do! The company I hired didn't have to "sell me," Dr. Energy Saver and Larry Janesky did that!

I think this project took longer than necessary. Some of the time was waiting for a crew to be available. That's understandable, but some of the time was mis-communication between Frontier and the electrical sub-contractor. Not good. The end result was excellent, but the process was not flawless.

Logan called ahead to advise me that he was on the way and arrived on time to follow up with the annual maintenance on our sump, clean space and sani dry system. He installed the second of two remote water watch alarms and reworked a discharge line to limit any chance it could be noisy. He explained everything he had done - a 1st Class professional. After seeing this system in operation - I can not imagine living in this house without it! It has already saved our hardwood floor!

They are supposed to start project in a month. I was told there would never be any foundation problems in the future. I do not understand how what is to be done will cure all problems forever.
