Joe was meticulous in his work and explained well not only what he was doing but why. He explained in understandable detail what I could do on a regular basis to keep my system operating in good order and why those activities would help. All in all, I have great confidence that my system will work even better than it did yesterday. Joe was also very personable and willing to answer any questions that I had. I greatly appreciate the respect with which he treated me as a customer.

On 8/01/17 Conway came out to run a rooter in my main drain. I had a $99 coupon which said I had one year guarantee if we also let them run a camera down the drain. The tech ran the rooter in the main drain. He was very nice and said the line appeared to be flowing. He re-affirmed if they came back to do the camera (free of charge) that we would have a one year guarantee for labor. They did do the video a few days later and said there was roots coming through a seam in our cement line but only in one spot. So there were still roots in the line in one spot. Obviously they had only pushed a small hole through the roots enough for the line to drain some. They then gave us an offer to replace that one small area for $3900.00...after they did the video....we declined. When our toilets started running slow again we called them to come out and rooter out the line stating that the cutter they used looked to be only 2 inches or so wide and may not have been the right type. The guy who had done it years before had actually pulled roots out of the line. On the phone the first lady agreed to only come out one more time...but right before they were getting ready to come another lady called and advised up there would be a charge for them coming out again. So obviously a one year guarantee with Conway Services means that they guarantee to charge you a second time if they don't get it right the first time. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Now I have to find a company that actually knows how to cut roots out of a main drain....on top of that I have to pay again to have the same work done. I will never use this company again, they don't honor their guarantee even if it is written on their website & on the coupon.

Dear Ms [Member Name Removed], We are sorry that you are having drainage issues. A main drain service from any plumbing company will not clear a root intrusion. Root intrusions require repair or replacement of the section where roots have entered the plumbing and have caused the issues you are experiencing. Based on the camera we ran in your line after the main drain service, we were able to determine that there was a root intrusion. The roots have come through the plumbing and therefore the line is compromised and requires repair or replacement to ensure free flowing drainage going forward. Based on our findings, we provided a quote to repair up to 10 ft of the compromised line. We also provided a quote to replace the line at a higher cost with a lifetime guarantee against reed intrusions and stoppages. The guarantee on the main drain service is not valid given the issue in your home is not a clog from common sewage material in a intact line. Our quote is still applicable. We hope that you get the plumbing repaired or replaced in order to prevent damage to your property.

Conway Services is amazing! Willie, Shannon, Steve, Mark and Reggie have worked to resolve our issue, replacing 2 Goodman's with our new Carrier. They each gave same day service in the middle of the summer when their work load has to be heavy! Each of them knew their job, knew how to do their job and did their job well. All the adjectives apply to these gentleman. They are skilled in their craft, adhered to company guidelines and rules, were courteous, kind, thoughtful, empathetic and caring. They each went above and beyond so we could sleep in a cool home that night. We called Conway Services July 26, 2017. Willie came the same day and put the unit in service so we could sleep cool. (Thursday) Shannon came Friday and wrote a contract to replace the 2 old Goodman's with our new Carrier. Steve and Mark came Monday to begin the 2 day install. They worked into the night to get us cool air to sleep in; returning the 2nd day to finish up. The next week we had a question, Reggie came within hours and resolved the matter. The Customer Service Representatives do a very good job also. Thank you, Conway Services for a job well done.

Never got a call or email from them so I called them on or about July 14, 2017; scheduled appt for June 20 between 8-9; they didn't show up. When I called they at first said yes my appt was that day, but then said no, it was tomorrow (Friday). On Friday they called at 7.36 and 7:48 on my home phone to confirm the appt. vice my cell phone, which is the number I used on the request and the number I gave them when I called. I did not hear phone in my bedroom because I have it turned down because solicitors start calling at 8 when I am trying to sleep; however, I was awake awaiting their arrival. When I had not heard from them by about 9:15, I called and was told they would call the technician and tell him he could come out. He arrived about 2:45 and said he was not able to perform the tuneup because the tank was out of warranty. I don't know what that had to do with him performing the tuneup. I purchased the water heater in Nov 2011, which will make it 6 years old for me in Nov. When I called to make the appointment the person I spoke with asked me when I bought it because they couldn't flush them if they were over 10 years old. I found my receipt and called her back to tell her when I had purchased it. My heater is electric and the estimated life is 10-15 years. The tech acted as if it were old and 'recommended I replace the anode rod, the temperature and pressure gauge and the plastic drain plug with a brass one. Why? He didn't test anything. Was there anything wrong with them. I had had no problems, just had read the they should be flushed periodically. The motto on their deal was "Don't let an old tank leave you cold--save money on a water heater tune-up with this great offer!" But he couldn't do anything to mine because of it's 'age;' less than 6 years.

Every time a tech came for normal inspection, they found something new that needed repair. After the first couple of times, I finally caught on and declined. Everything continued to work fine. When I needed a repair because the heat wasn't coming on, they charged me $1900 to replace a valve. It quit working again the next day. The next guy they sent out said he fixed it by cleaning the igniter with a wire brush. As part of that $1900 repair visit, I asked for a quote to replace my thermostat. It worked, but the back light was out. His quote was for $460. I checked Amazon and found the exact same thermostat for $150. I've since found a new repairman. He told me that he could have replaced my entire heating core for $1900, including the valve. In addition, I let the Conway guy talk me into buying a surge protector for $250. My current tech told me that was a waste of money. I've heard that the repairmen at Conway work on commission for sales and they have to meet quotas. That is not a good arrangement for consumers.
Description of Work: I paid a monthly fee for contract service for regular cleaning and inspection. Every visit involved an up-sell and additional repair/upgrade work. I called them for repair work when my heater would not come on.

I called Conway. They told me yes they could do it for $60... Boy did that sound like a good price. Today, their dispatch called us to verify. We said yes, we need a camera to find the break. Dispatch said Oh yes, they remembered and they would be here at 4 pm.. The technician/plumber comes to the door. When I repeated the deal. He asked why I thought I needed a camera. Because I have a break. How did I know he asked. What does that matter? I know. He said they didn't tell him he needed a camera and he would have to call them. Goes to his truck... comes back and says he will have to reschedule.. I'm pretty sure the company just told us ANYTHING to get to our door.
Description of Work: I needed a camera to check out a plumbing line that has a break under my house. I was warned NOT to use this company and I should have listened.

Repair was completed, but with a faulty connection in gas control valve. May/may not have been repair man's fault. Regardless, it caused a gas leak. House was filled with gas, water heater had to be shut off again, so we went with cold showers for another day/day and a half waiting for the repair man to return and resolve the leak. Eventually he did resolve the leak at no additional cost and was apologetic for the inconvenience. Disappointing because this was the exact reason I paid for a repair as opposed to installing the gas control valve myself.

They recharged the system and told me about their service agreement so I went ahead and joined with them. We got a discount since I signed with the contract, they are a good deal. Their employees are genuine, they seem to hire the right kind of folks. They show when they say they will and call if for some reason they are behind.

They are a good local company. I have a service contract with them, the only time I would have additional changes is if there was a failing part. They even add coolant for no charge if needed. I will continue to use them and have recommended them to friends.

Conway Services show up here on April or May once the weather starts getting warm. I have a monthly charge and they charge me and that way, I get services that go with the pay and then they do the tune-up twice a year. The people are friendly and they don't try to push you into buying something. Some people are a little bit cheaper. I've never had to really call them because they use to call me. Whenever they call me they're gonna be here, they're here. They're really professional. They're really nice and friendly.

I am so very impressed with the plumbing service I received in my home this morning (a Saturday) from Nova at Conway Services. Within twenty minutes of my call to Conway and conversation with their rep- Stacy who was extremely personable, Nova the plumber, appeared at my front door. He immediately put on shoe covers upon entering my home. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my toilet, discussed the cost up front, went to his truck and retrieved the necessary tools and supplies (he arrived equipped and didn't need to run off to a plumbing supplier), put back on his shoe covers and immediately went to work. Within in a short amount of time, the problem was fixed. Nova was efficient, thorough with his work, and fully explained what it was he was doing. I felt informed of his process. Beyond his level of his high-quality work and professionalism, he was friendly and I felt comfortable having him in my home. This is, in my opinion, equally important in this day and age- trust. Within 5 minutes of Nova leaving my home, Stacy called to follow up with me to be sure I was happy with the service Nova provided. Absolutely! After this experience, I would go back to Conway Services for future plumbing needs in a heartbeat. I give this service call my highest possible recommendation. Kudos to Nova, Stacy, and the administrators at Conway who clearly carefully choose their employees to represent them so well!

Jack Kelly came out promptly and took measurements and helped me decide what brand and size I needed/wanted. A few days later TJ and Nick came out to install my new equipment. They were prompt, polite and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better installation experience.
Description of Work: I needed to replace an old air conditioner. I have used another company for years. I called Conway for a second estimate based on Angie's List reviews and a personal recommendation from my Sister in Law. Conway had a much lower estimate.

I have an 11-year-old Trane system.. I got Conway Services off of Angie's List. They have a 12 year Grade A superior rating. Chad was here on August 26th and cleared the condensation trap and changed the float switch. At that time he told me he would be back Monday morning because my drain needs to be extended to be brought up to code. Chad came back Monday and extended the drain with PVC pipe. I paid $1045.00 for those 2 days of work. On September 16th the air conditioner would not come on at all. I called Conway Services and they said since it is less than 30 days since the previous work was done, there will be no service call fee. Markus came out and put in a run capacitor and flushed the condensation drain again. Markus said he needs to get his supervisor out here. The supervisor, Matt Fisse, told me that the work Chad did on August 29th should not have been done because I need a complete new heating and air system. According to Matt my blower was bad, my condenser was bad and the condenser coil was bad. After they left I decided that I was not comfortable with the whole situation and decided to get another opinion. I contacted Landmark Heating and Air off of Angie's List.. They came out here and I had to pay for another complete inspection and their opinion was that I did not need a new system. All I needed to have done is the things that Conway Services did initially. I asked them what they would charge and they said that Conway overcharged me $377. He said all that's left to do to my system is to have the condenser coil cleaned. So, I got Landmark to do that for $89 the following Thursday. Conway Services were very nice but it seems they’re in the business of selling you a new system rather than repairing the existing system. I feel that I was severely overcharged and pressured to purchase a new system when it is not necessary.

It was absolutely horrible. It took them to come 3 times to get the inspector to pass it. They were supposed to work with the power company to change out the gas meter because the gas meter was now too small with everything I had. That took literally 3 months to do and they kept going back and forth. It was just a mess. I'll never use them again. They had no follow through. They don't follow through with their work. They say they would do everything for me but they don't.
