Conway Services sent their Master Plumber, Mr. Bates, the same day. He located and repaired a leak that was in the wall of the master bathroom. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and very professional. We had been dealing with the leak for a week and kept the main water line off execpt 2 times a day. The first company we called assumed the leak was in behind the wall in the slab. They refused to remove the bathroom vanity to get in the wall. We called someone to remove the vanity only to realize that the plumbing was still attached. We were not happy the first company sent a plumber who claimed the vanity must be removed (which was understandable) but the guy/company would not remove it before the job could begin and did not perform the very first step of disconnecting the vanity plumbing. Yet they charged us a service call and no actual work was performed. The second plumber we called was an owner operator one man business and did not come back when he said he would. We were very pleased with Conway Services and will be calling them for all of our plumbing needs and specifically requesting Mr. Bates.
Description of Work: Had a bathroom leak that was inside the wall repaired.

All they wanted to do was sell an unneeded $5,595.00 main line replacement, they claimed the line had collapsed but it hadn’t. Wound up getting another plumber out within a couple of days.

This was the most professional service that we have had performed in all the years we have lived here. Jason D and Andrew W arrived right on time and immediately set to work prepping our house to keep it clean. They were friendly and professional and would alert us every now and then to what was going on to keep us informed. They even let us know that their service manager would be dropping in so that we would not be alarmed when someone different showed up in our house. I call that attention to detail. They answered every question that we might have had and worked straight through the whole day not even taking a lunch break. I would definitely use Conway again because I think the salesperson that help was honest with us and the team that put it in was top notch. Thanks Conway for great service.

The installation was done with knowledgeable service technicians from Ricky & Larry. They brought me up to speed on the operation of the new units and how to keep them working well in years to come. Bruce easily corrected the sink drip issue. He explained all of his diagnostic steps and did not mind my observing his work and asking questions. The shower repair was more complicated, requiring multiple calls to the shower head manufacturer when they sent incorrect parts to repair our problem. He made multiple visits to our home and copied us on several emails he sent to the manufacturer, keeping us in the loop at all times. The issue was ultimately resolved to everyone's satisfaction. Bruce was very pleasant and knowledgeable throughout the process, and we will continue to request his services for any future plumbing issues that may arise.

They were experts. Did their work with amazing efficiency & knowledge. Had all the tools & equipment they needed - were very well prepared & equipped. Mannerly, kind, precious! before i start there is a second technician i couldn't find listed on their site. his name is ray h. and this review covers his performance as well. when things are bad and you have to spend a lot of money it was a pleasure to have howard and ray show up. professional, prompt and cleaned up afterwards. ****, i might even invite them to thanksgiving dinner. as for the good rating on price, this is not a negative, they may be a bit more expensive but you GET what you pay for and i will continue to use conway services for years to come. thanks howard w. and thanks ray h. and thanks to mr. conway for hiring such pros.

BUYER BEWARE this company just wants to up sale their services. On 07/03/2018 we had been without water for three days due to broken water line. Listed below is the series of events. 9:10 approx. Called Conway Services about the problem. Told everyone was in a meeting and I would be called when someone would be sent to repair the broken line. 10:26. Conway phoned that someone was on the way eta around 40 minutes. 11:15 approx. Man showed up to give an estimate, not to do the repair. Showed him where the line was broken. Gave an extremely high estimate ($875.00 to $3,000.00) saying that I did not know where the water line was. 11:30 approx. I called to complain. They said they would someone else out. 11:49 Estimator/salesmen called to say he was sorry for the misunderstanding, then tried to sell me on replacing the water feed lines to both our house and our rental with some expensive pipe. I told him I was not replacing 4,000 feet of pipe. Both times this estimator/salesman was rude and conceited. It seems his job was to get as much money as possible out of me. 1:30 approx. I called Conway inquiring when someone would be here. Was told as soon as someone was freed up he would be sent out. 3:26 Conway called to say plumber’s eta was 40 minutes. 3:47 Conway called to say plumber was not coming out because he was allergic to poison ivy and oak. Was told as soon as someone was freed up he would be sent out. 6:45 I called Conway and they said no one was coming and I could set up for them to come out on 07/05/2018. I was then told I needed to call American Leak Detection to find the leak (cost over $400.00) even when I had showed them were the leak was, then they would come out to give another estimate. I asked to speak to the plumbing manager. I have not heard from him.

Conway installed a complete overhaul of my home's HVAC system & ducting 1-1/2 years ago. Top of the line system that was still under parts & labor warranty. Technician arrived and said the issue was due to our poor maintenance of system and charged us for cleaning and 2 lbs of refrigerant. I had always changed the filters frequently & an almost new filter was in unit. Charged us $500 because he said it was a maintenance issue. I returned home that night to find the unit not working. A second technician finally came back out under duress later that night to investigate the problem, found the unit not operating, and determined a short in the wiring to the thermostat. Conway did not return my $500 despite the cause of the problem should be covered by warranty.

Everything was professional, punctual, and explained to my satisfaction. Kudos to Darin on the front-end and to Brandon H, Dustin S, and Larry H on the install. I thought the pricing was reasonable at first. But considering I got quality products and a quality experience I'd say the pricing was more than reasonable.

I called Conway based on personal references. Initially it was due to my unit not blowing inside. We had a service technician (Pierre) come out. His quick but thorough diagnosis was very impressive. Not only did he tell me what was broken. He also explained it in detail for me to understand. From the sales team to the installers, I had no concerns or regrets. Buying a new air/heat unit is never a fun thing but they made it easy, cost effective and I felt confident in their abilities. I highly recommend Conway. Went Very Well and validated our choice of Conway Services Heating & Cooling above several other competing HVAC companies we had give us quotes for this service. The field adviser Darin D. made the first impression with his knowledge and friendly demeanor. He was the consummate professional dressed well and business savvy and had all the materials to present us options without ever being 'pushy'. By far Darin exhibited the best Professional presence and maintained contact even though it was obvious he has a Very Heavy workload with Hot Weather about to descend on Memphis. Darin confirmed what a previous diagnostic technician from another company advised that our Frigidaire Nordyne Unit was over 12 years old running on R22 and to repair it at over $1,000 (clogged coolant inflow resulting in no freon) was probably not a wise investment. His input was later confirmed by every other HVAC consultant who we had come by to give us estimates. From that point everything went smoothly with Conway. Scheduling was quick. Approval for financing was painless. In the end we were very clear of everything we we getting (including the longest standard support visit guarantee). Install Technicians Rickey T. and Chris S. showed up exactly on time. They did the inside home review of the days work in disposable hospital shoe coverings (even though we told them it was not necessary). Very friendly and knowledgeable and we even came to the agreement that the thermostat they had brought out to replace our current one was actually a slightly older model thermostat and we should keep the Trane thermostat we had. They set to work right away and right on time and had the old condenser and pad removed within an hour. We were so comfortable with their politeness and work ethic that we were not a bit uneasy about leaving the house to go do some quick grocery shopping chores. We were also impressed that when they ran into a problem with a drain line they called in a senior Conway professional who came out and the three of them worked through options and came up with a solution they discussed with us (involved cutting an extra vent into the laundry room ceiling which in the end turns out to be an unexpected benefit making a Hot chore much more tolerable). Chris and Rickey stayed with the install all day from 9am until past 6pm and shook off our concern about the long day they were putting in. They were always friendly and polite and took a few reasonable breaks but kept at the job to completion. When finished they answered all questions we asked and explained all the new duct work and installed components. When the new system came online the cooling improvement was immediately noticeable and brought our 88 degree house down to a comfortable 72 within just a few hours. Everything has been cool since then and they system runs quiet on a fiberglass pad. We are very happy with the work Conway installers Chris S. and Rickey T. did and their overall conduct and demeanor and friendliness throughout the entire day. Darin followed up with us and we gave him this positive information as well. This is our first Major appliance installation experience with Conway and at this point they have become our go-to company for future work and recommendations. Sorry for the length of this review but I personally find detailed reviews helpful on Angies List (both the good ... and the not so good ones). Speaking of that . . . the 5% discount on a job of this size (and cost) that was offered to AL members was one of those above-and-beyond deciding factors when all other price estimates came in very close to each other. The good service we received from Conway validated our decision to use them for this new A/C Condenser and Coil investment.

I called the office to have a tech come out when my air suddenly went out. They called me back to let me know DeMario would be coming out in 30-45 minutes. He was right on time and extremely kind and professional. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and went above and beyond to show me other issues that may come up in the future. The technician checked the entire system and explained the process to me. At the end of the checkup, he gave me a written summary of his findings, and let me know the approximate age of the various parts of the system, such as the furnace, evaporator coil, and condenser. This was especially important to me since I just purchased the home a few months ago. The best thing about this checkup was that there was no pressure. My technician told me what needed to be done in a professional way so that I know that the repairs, luckily minor ones, need to be done. I will definitely use Conway Services again.

Conway called to confirm technician arrival time. Charlie arrived promptly as scheduled. He was very polite and made sure he wore shoe covers in the heouse. Called Conway to give me an estimate on rewiring and running my kitchen wires (which were hanging out in the open due to removing a fur down) through ceiling joists. Conway's electrician arrived on schedule and stayed for close to 45 minutes looking over the job and detailing what all would need to be done. He said it would likely be a 2-day job, maybe more. The entire time he seemed very overwhelmed and almost perplexed at the job. I had two other electricians come before Conway and both stated that the job would take a few days and be very tedious, but they were not too concerned. Nonetheless, Conway's electrician left and I have not heard anything since and never received an estimate. I even hired Conway to do some plumbing work in April (review to come) and notified the plumber (as well as the Conway's phone operator) about the electrician not getting back with me, but I have still not heard anything since.
