The service was good. They were very professional.

I got them from Angie’s List. They gave me an estimate. The pricing was pretty steep but they did a good job. It was normal for the kind of thing that they did. I got a couple of different estimates. I told them that I had gotten a lower estimate and they matched it. The estimate they gave me was $4700. I actually paid $1880. They did a great job. I told them I was talking to several different companies. They asked me to give them a chance to meet the other people’s bid and I did. So I was happy. They negotiated so that was good.

I do not have the money to invest in the plan at this point, however they created a very nice plan form which to work from

I am so pleased with my patio, and my drainage/ mud issue was resolved! Everything went smoothly, communication was superb and work completed within a VERY reasonable period of time. The crew were very friendly, professional and punctual. Their work was excellent. My patio is beautiful. I recommend this company and would use them again in the future.

He was very responsive making the appointment and showed up at the scheduled time. Since then my husband had to call to get the estimate, we finally received it. My husband has called to discuss the job but has not received any response. Apparently he isn't interested in doing this job therefore we will look elsewhere.

Crenshaw Landscaping ROCKS! they created a complete landscape plan for our front yard but time and resources required us to scale back a bit. Together we revised the drawing and picked plants to get something in the ground before the weather turned and to spruce up the yard for the holidays. They were on time and on the job and got the work completed just as presented in their plan and estimate. THEN I changed my mind about the plants and they came back and re-planted! Again in a timely and efficient fashion and now it is exactly what I wanted. Now I had to pay for the re-do of course but they definitely made it less painful than it might have been. Best of all they remained very pleasant, professional AND patient with ME throughout the process! I am very happy with my yard now and will definitely use Crenshaw Landscaping in the future!

We are very pleased with the result. Mr Crenshaw listened carefully and formulated a design that met are expectations and needed no modification. We will use his expertise and services again.

Chris came out and took great care in creating a landscaping plan for our yard as well as working with us to make minor changes to get the plan exactly as we wanted it. He quickly provided an estimate that was very, very reasonable for the work being done. Chris scheduled a date to begin work, and because the nature of landscaping is weather related, kept us updated about when work would commence as he was trying to finish other jobs. I was most impressed that Chris worked with his crew; he remained onsite 99% of the time. Our front yard has been totally transformed! Stone planters built, existing trees trimmed, new plants and trees added as well as new exterior lighting. A hilly back yard has been given a great stone patio coming off our deck along with 4 planters for gardening. I recommend Chris Crenshaw or his friendly crew and their efforts as some of the best money we have spent on our home. I am still amazed to see how much we got from the price that we paid. Chris did his best to save money by trying to use existing parts (lighting transformer), but found economical solutions when parts would not work. Call Chris!

It went well. Chris was courteous and friendly. He seems to know a lot of information about the trees and plants in the yard. He gave some recommendations about how I may proceed to improve my yard care.

I called two times and left messages. Second time we did set up an appointment. I has to cancel due to working that date. The next appointment that was made on Oct. 16.@ 6:00 pm. I never heard from Chris or did he call to cancel appt. I figured my project was too small to deal with. I just want my money back for the cost of the coupon I purchased.

It was all good, Chris took ample time to learn about my needs and concerns, and got back to me quickly with a plan which addressed everything. He was easy to work with and I enjoyed working with him. I am currently looking at the plan and considering my next steps.

Great! Chris was on time and on point. His responsiveness was excellent.

He contacted me through Angie's List to schedule the appointment fairly quickly and he was able to come out about 15 days later. He did have a detailed write up and a sketch to show me. He did give me a higher estimate than I anticipated, so I did not feel like it was worth the money. I thought I could do the work myself after the evaluation.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out really great. There were no additional charges. There was a little bit of a problem at the beginning because I thought we would be getting an email from them within the next few days. That was kind of my understanding when I purchased it and we didn't. Because we just moved in the house, things were a little bit crazy here but apparently he was putting it on a message board on Angie's List so there was a little bit of connection problem for the first 2 or 3 weeks but once we got that straightened out, we got our schedules together and managed to get an appointment. Once he got here, he was really great. We were really impressed with him. He was patient, he was informative and just answered any questions. We were very pleased with that.

He arrived at the agreed upon time, listened to what the challenges were, our likes and how we used the yard and drew up a plan for us. Face us ideas that we had not thought of and a plan to improve our landscape as time and funds allow

The bid was reasonable and Chris was very professional. We decided to take a different direction with our project but were very satisfied with the input Chris gave us.

Chris met with us and explained how he would handle each of the drainage problems in our yard through creative landscaping that was both practical and cost-effective. His ideas maintained the natural look of our yard and kept the expenses down by focusing only on what was absolutely necessary to solve the problem. The work was completed in a timely manner and looks great.

Contacted Crenshaw Landscaping for an estimate for pruning several bushes around my 4,200 sq ft property. Due to some of the reviews I've seen, also mentioned that I wanted them back to quote the landscaping around a new 1,400 sqft patio we're installing late June. I was told that an estimate would be emailed to me the following day. After not receiving the estimate 5 days laters, I contact Crenshaw via text asking if he wanted the job or if I should contact someone else. He responded by text (2 days later) that he should have had the estimate to me, but has been "super busy" and said I should contact someone else. This is the first time I've ever had someone on Angie's list turn down a job! I've had great luck with a number of contractors...until now. Must be nice to be "super busy".

This was a very positive experience. The landscaper that came over looked at several problem areas in our yard and gave lots of good advice. I liked that he always pointed out how much of it we could do on our own, although he also always made sure to let us know the Crenshaw would be happy to do it for us if we wanted. :) In particular, I appreciated his advice on a retaining wall we need to have replaced and on how to deal with some trees and bushes that have become a bit overgrown. I would be happy to hire Crenshaw in the future to do some real work, and in fact they are first on the list for us to call when we get around to that retaining wall.

Did exactly what was agreed. Found a rabbit nest and protected it. Came back and replaced one laurel that died. Chris also provided excellent advice to us on fertilizing and maintaining a significant variety of plantings in our English garden.

Chris came by at the end of a long day of work. He made some acute observations, pointed out things i had not noticed in the many years we have lived in our home, and came up with ideas about to solve the issue. He refused to take any money for his advice. I cannot praise Chris too highly. He is a courteous, kindly gentleman who know his stuff. We will certainly be using Crenshaw Landscaping in the future.
