The techs were thorough and did not rush. In fact, they cut out one day a bit early knowing they had a big job to start in the crawl space the next day. I was happy they did not try and do part of the crawl space one day and complete it the next. We were scheduled for 2.5 days and that was about right. Plus, they got me on the schedule in less than a week. Once all work was completed, TVA sent an inspector back out and found a few minor issues. HIT came back out upon receiving the report to fix the issues noted. I am waiting on TVA to come back out (3+ weeks lead time) to see if all was done right and I can get my TVA energy efficient refund.

They inspected for moisture and gave me recommendations. They laid down some gravel and installed a plastic moisture barrier and exhaust fan, to pull the moisture out. They cleaned the mold off the floor joists. They even took care of a few spiders down there. They were thorough and measured the moisture level and air quality in my home before giving the recommendations, and found mold spores. They then measured again after running the exhaust fan. The air quality was improved. I'm a happy camper!
