As far as I know, they did a good job and found a problem with one small control, the capacitor. They said it might fail soon so they recommended replacement. They replaced the capacitor. I was very pleased. There were additional fees with the Big Deal because I have two units and I had to pay for the new compositor part. I felt the total cost was very reasonable.

My AC unit is only about 3 years old and this is the first time I've had any problems with it. It had slowly started blowing out less and less air and finally froze up completely. Robby explained to me the reason for what happened was the coils got clogged up and said the reason for it was because I needed to replace the air filter every month rather than the suggested 3 months that the filters state to replace them which was something I wasn't aware of. He also pointed out the mistakes of the previous company that installed the new unit that my home warranty had contracted to replace the broken unit before. He gave me a quote on how much it would cost for them to fix those mistakes and bring it back up to code. He was very respectful and professional the whole time that he was here and made sure to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. I'm very with the service that I received and will definitely recommend them to anyone that I heard about having issues with their AC. I am planning on doing the 1 year maintenance contract each year going forward as it is a really good deal.

He and his company were very good. They do the service for my unit now. They are very good people. He was so honest. If you don't get right back to them, they will get back to you, but they do not annoy you.

They said the ac straps on the handler were off. I asked them if they put them back up and they just said “no”. It’s a pretty simple fix with a nail and a hammer so I was wondering what I was dealing with. I wasn’t too impressed. I had someone came after them and double check their work. They told me the straps looked as though they may have been pulled off. I can’t prove anything, but I wanted nothing to do with the company after that. I don’t want someone in my house trying to create problems. The price was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for.

Was not present for the service but wife said it went very well. I had a little trouble understanding the bill but they answered the phone after hours and we went through the service and the bill to my satisfaction.

Tech arrived on time,was professional and knowledgeable and explained my choices on what needed to be done.

They were very good. There were a few things that needed to be done in addition to the tune-up/inspection covered in the deal, but I was very happy with their work. They were on time, very nice, and I would use them again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service. He was trying to sell me an air conditioner while I just needed the service. He did the service, and put in the wrong size filters, and I had someone else to come out and look at it, and they said I didn't need an air conditioner. When I changed the filter, they blew inside the vent. The price was okay.

We were told that our heat exchanger had leaks and the R-22 in our AC was low. The tech turned off the gas to the unit because the heat exchanger was cracked. We were advised to buy another unit. Their prices were $4500-$6500. We had a second opinion by another company and were told there was nothing wrong with the unit. AireServ came back to point out spots on the heat exchanger that were cracked. There is no way to see the spots up close, so we took the marks in the metal and discoloration to be the problem. We found yet another company to replace the part, which was still under warranty, at a very reasonable price. When they pulled out the old "cracked" part, they could find nothing wrong with it. I watched one of the guys chisel at the metal with a screw driver, and he said he could not find any holes or cracks. So, even though we had the part replaced at a comparatively fair price, we still spent a whole lot of money that we wouldn't have had the problem not been misdiagnosed. Today, eight months later, we had another furnace check and were told it was in good shape; the furnace, of course, was fine and we had no leaks in the AC. So, AireServe got it wrong on both diagnoses.

They provided good service and I did a year long service contract with them.

They were great. They came out the same day I called to check my ac. They put it in the next day. The guys were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They gave me all my options and didn't pressure me at all.

The HVAC units that I own at my business are very large (15-20 ton units) and had been neglected for a number of years prior to me acquiring them. Aireserv has been incredibly responsive to repairing and maintaining the units and have also been creative in finding solutions to my AC challenges. Honestly I can't say enough about their professionalism and integrity.......especially since I've dealt with the other end of the spectrum as well from other companies. I have used them at my home as well, and my business partner has done the same. The owners of AireServ, Harry and Caroline, have always been fantastic. Truly a great example of American small-business owners.

WOW! I purchased this for my mother who was extremely pleased! Detailed inspection of entire system. Although she did schedule a future visit, she wasn't pressured into anything. Felt VERY comfortable with the young man who performed the work. He's been with the company for many years. Small family owned company. Very honest and pleasant. Will use again in the future. It went well. When they got there I wasn't there initially at the beginning but after I got home they let me know the cost only included the inspection and service to one unit and not both so I had the service to the second unit also. I also went on and paid for a couple of inspections for next year also. I wasn't there initially when they go started but they just came to the house and they met with my wife and just talked to her about the units and she knew they were coming. They called me and let me knew they were coming within the approximate timeline and then they gave me a time frame between like 2-4, and I think the guy showed up at exactly 2:30 and then he met my wife and she showed him the upstairs, and then he had to go upstairs to get to the units and then that's where he told her and where he asked her a bunch of questions and she didn't really know all of them. So I got home probably about an hour later and I talked to him on the close as he was finishing up, and I had the invoice and stuff. And that when they offered, and he gave me discount if I wanted to pay for a service for the next year. Basically they will come out six month later again and then I paid for the additional 39 dollars that they charged me to do the inspection of the other units. Everything went well, the technician was very knowledgeable, gave me his recommendations and explained a couple of things that I asked him. He seems like he did a thorough job.

It was really good. I was impressed with the young man. He didn't push me into anything I didn't need and it's been fine ever since. He told me it was an old system and he took care of it. He told me that I was fine for a while. I was pleased with the service and actually I am going to use them again. Everything about it was good.

Robby showed up and was very professional. The second opinion said the other company diagnosed correctly. Your company gave a better price for the repair, signed contract and bought maintenance plans for other house!! :)

When the repairman was out at the house he told me my heat exchange was rusted and I needed to start thinking about a new unit. I was trying to save money and had to put an engine in my car. I had my unit serviced today and what a huge surprise I got. I was shown my heat exchange and there is NO rust on it at all. I was lied to, in order for this business to put a new unit in with the duct work. I am so thankful that my engine went in my car and I could not afford a unit from them. There is nothing wrong with my unit that a good cleaning didn't solve. I was also told that some connections were worn and that was not found today either. Beware of this business and get someone else to check your unit out before purchasing anything from them.

It was a very bad experience. Company's today are driven by production of service and not about the quality of service given to consumers. This doesn't give me a good feeling about the service Angie's list provides. I will not recommend the service I received to my worst enemy if that tells you anything.

The problem came when he quoted me a price to fix my duct issue. I explained to the gentleman that all the ducts were completely replaced 2 1/2 years ago. He proceeded to tell me that the work was badly done and as a result condensation was pooling in the ducts and would eventually cause a serious mold problem, in addition to the torn/ripped ducts. I asked if he could repair or replace the duct that was torn, he stated he couldn't do any repairs. He recommended I call the company that performed the job and see if I could work something out with them or that he could replace all the ducts at the discounted price of $2,887.50 (approximate amount paid 2 1/2 years ago). He also recommended a discount Advantage Plan which would provide me with two maintenance inspections per year. (reg. $179.00, discounted to $59.00 if purchased that day) He also quotes a price to change the contactor (reg. $248.21, discounted to $165.86 if serviced that day) although he did say it wasn't need at this time. The young man was very nice and seemed empathetic to my situation but the price quoted was outrageous. I called two other HVAC companies and they were able to quote me prices for replacement of the torn/ripped ducts.

An initial mix-up. Started to install brand of heat pump other that that we had agreed to. On seeing contract, contractor complied at once. Later he apologized for mix up. Charged an additional $50 for bringing wiring up to code. Had thought that that would be covered in our signed contract. Work was on time and extremely professional (I am a engineer, and should know). Bottom line; Get everything in writing, argue over price, and expect excellent work.
