I had EnergySmith Home Performance come out and triple insulate (air seal the walls, install copper radiant barrier and blow in an extra foot of insulation) at the end of April 2017. From April 2016 to the end of October 2016, I used 5,366 kilowatt hours. From April 2017 to the end October 2017, I used 2,860 kilowatt hours. Energy Smith saved me from paying for 2,539 kilowatt hours. They saved me 47% on my power bill in 6 months. That is extraordinary. It isn’t “if I get my money back” on this investment, it is more attuned to “when I will get my money back”. I goal is to submit another rating in 6 months (April) to give another feed back as to how much energy they saved in They were detailed and professional as well. They gave an approximate time to do the work. They were finished a bit sooner than I was told. They cleaned up any mess that was made (which was a phenomenally little mess).

Like all other reviews here, we had a complete review of the current insulation we had and a recommendation to bring us up to current housing code. The workers were meticulous in assuring all aspects of the needed coverage were addressed. Our A/C was running 12 hours a day set at 77 degrees. Since the day after work was completed, the most it has run is 5 and a half hours a day - a greater than 50% reduction! (We have a NEST thermostat which tracks every on/off time and daily total). These guys are the very best and will give you a superior job.

Based on information given to us by Joe, we had the highest level of confidence to upgrade the woefully inadequate existing attic insulation in our 22 year old house. The installation crew is efficient, hard working and considerate. They did a remarkable job in grueling heat. Joe really spent time educating me on current building codes and how to best bring my home up to current and future codes. He understood what I wanted to achieve and developed a solid plan to reach that goal without going beyond my budget. His crew, led by his son Dillon, were on time and we're very curtious and professional. They even identified addition items that could be done to better improve my return on investment and completed them without additional cost. They are also returning to complete an addition that will assist me with additional energy savings. The whole team was great to work with for beginning to end.

Professional and honest company and the work they do is definitely worth the investment. My house is older and needed an insulation upgrade to get efficient cooling in the summer, and they did a remarkable job. Professional without being pushy. Some of the needed information may be more technical than most homeowners may be familiar with leading the customer to believe they are being pushed into something maybe not needed. That is not the case. I would suggest the customer relax and ask for clarification before deciding on the scope of their project.

These guys are hard working, friendly and very knowledgeable. It was hot as hell in the roof the day they came to work, they air sealed everything and then covered the attic fan for me. There friendly , respectful and worked very hard in a hot roof area, they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants insulation work done!

From the begining to arrange a estimate to the job completion they were very easy to work with, fully explained what they could do and how to the completion of the project was a really nice experience. The work performed was designed to satisfy my Electric Provider and enable me to obtain a rebate. LEC seems to have very high standards for this program and all to benefit the home owner. The work was completed and cleanup of areas performed in less that one work day. My wife and I were very impressed with the company and personnel.
