They worked with me on the price & knowing my air conditioner was on it's last legs, they were out the next day to replace everything. good thing as they found a crack in my furnace. Potential for carbon monoxide in my home this winter. Replaced everything in one day, received another year of service. It is nice not having to worry about the central air not working with summer coming. I highly recommend Mechanical Doctor

Went very well. They did find a couple of items that while still working were not in good condition. Rather than wait & replace later - when they failed - in the middle of the hottest summer days - opted to replace now. Don't want to be in a hot house waiting for someone to come out.

They arrived when they said they would and went right to work. Made sure to keep the area clean and explained everything they were going to do before they did it. Took about an hour, fireplace was fully cleaned and adjusted, and now works flawlessly. Its a 15 year old fireplace, I was surprised and impressed they didn't try to upsell me on extra services. Very happy, will use them in the future for any other fireplace needs.

Service was easy to schedule, service provider arrived promptly, manner was polite and professional. We had recently moved into house with older system, but provider checked everything and found all working well (did not try to sell us a new system) and recommended a few small repairs for a modest additional cost.

appx. $1500. Wayne deduced that we have a slow leak - probably in the coil. He indicated that in his experience it was not worth the time/cost to search for such a small leak (2 years to run low) only to recommend a coil replacement at appx. $1500. Wayne recharged our system; it's now blowing cold air, and life is good again. No fuss and no BS, did his job, charged a very reasonable price, and gained a new customer who'll be pleased to recommend them going forward.

Very professional, prompt knowledgable and friendly. Two days after performing initial service, one of the units stopped cooling. Kevin promptly returned to figure out the problem, which ended up being a faulty part. After tracking down and driving a half hour to obtain the replacement part, he returned and stayed until almost 7 pm to assure that the unit was repaired and cooling properly, which we greatly appreciated since the weather forecast was close to 90 degrees for the following day. From our research on similar repairs, we felt that we received a very fair and competitive price. Would not hesitate to use them again.

It was excellent. I knew I had some problems, they went through and gave me a diagnosis of what was going on, did the repairs and I am perfectly happy. The guy was real careful what his evaluation was, why he was choosing to replace a part and he gave me the options and all of that. I was really happy with the way they conducted the service. I paid more than the big deal amount but I paid for the repair but he gave me the repair for the service call instead of charging me his regular prices. So he gave me a better price and a reduced price for the part. It could have been so much more but he gave me a better deal because I was an Angie’s List customer. They were absolutely fair. They are a fantastic company. They warranted the part for one year but the result was what I was more interested in and when I started it, cool air came out.

It was fabulous. They came to do the work, and didn’t try to sell me anything. They were nice, thorough, and professional. I would recommend them.

Company performed AC tuneup as promised. They answered all my questions.

Service was done quickly and workman was respectful and open. He pointed out a leak in our condenser coil and recommended a new system rather than a repair. After getting 2 other opinions, we ended up topping off the freon instead of replacing the unit. I would have preferred other options besides a replacement but understand that most companies are trying to push new systems.

Serviceman showed up at the time agreed upon. Explained what he was doing and why. We were pleased with his work and took out a contract for further service checks as required.

all went well, but needed 2 capacitors. I always wonder when you bring a maintenance service in, whether they "find" extra issues, but the repair men showed me the readings and were convincing of the issue/need for replacement parts.

Excellent!! I called them up on a Thursday to inquire about a spring tune up for my A/C. They got out here the next day. Mark come over to my house that I am getting ready to rent out and did an fabulous job. Checked over everything, added a little freon and even found a capacitor that was going bad. Had everything fixed up and me up and running in a very short while and a very reasonable price. I was so impressed with Mark's personable attitude and professionalism, I told him about a home I just bought and was looking to get a maitnance contract on. Mark set me up with an appointment the NEXT DAY!! Sure enough the next day (Saturday no less) at exactly when he said he would Mark showed up to check out the system on the new house. As before Mark was professional, couteous and very personable. Mark went through everything top to bottom, made sure everything was working correctly and got the systems ready for summer and got my maintenance contract set up (Great price on the contract as well). It turned out real, real good. The only complaint that I have against those guys is that they did not wear anything over their shoes and they got soot on our carpet. The other technicians we've had in our house always wear those surgical type things over their shoes and they didn't. He knew what he was doing. The pricing was real, real good. He was here for quite a while and did everything that he could to clean our gas logs out. I would think that they, as a company that's coming into someone's house would wear those little shoe-type things. The guy was very professional and I like that.

I bought the deal from Angies list and I was contacted the very next day with an appointment on my preferred day. The service technician arrived on time and immediately got to work. He was very professional, appeared very knowledgeable, explained the results and answered my questions very patiently. He gave his honest assessment of the system. I'm impressed and would definitely use their services again.

The service went fine. My logs were older and he was very honest with me. I was very pleased. For the initial visit to come out, I thought the price was reasonable. He was very responsive and come up when he should.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. They were on time and courteous. After he checked everything he told me everything looked good and then told me what I did need. The technician who came out was knowledgeable and really nice. I had to buy a part so I spent above the price of the Big Deal.

The service is great. He was very efficient, went right to work, and corrected our problem. He did a little extra and we were well pleased. He fixed the problem and you're using it without worry. He was very polite and efficient.

Kevin suggested that we replace an extra pressure switch which cost about $40 at the same time since this is an older unit and the labor cost would be the same as for the installation of the one. I agreed and when the parts came in he came and installed them in no time. We have had heat ever since then. I like dealing with smaller companies because one is likely to get the SAME service person rather than a new one every time to whom you have to explain the history of your problem. You can hold the service person accountable, rather than get the run around that this person has a different solution than the last. A couple of years ago I had heat running in the summer and after two calls (once over the weekend when I was charged double rate) to a larger company, and two different servicemen who could not figure out the problem, I finally got yet another company who fixed it. I'll never use that larger company again. Kevin is personable and knows his stuff. He now is the one I call for any HVAC problems.

I would highly recommend this company based on my experience. Professional, friendly, prompt, communicative. During the FP service which went great, another tech from a different company had to go into my crawlspace & noticed an uncovered HVAC duct that was hanging all the way to the ground, left by a handyman. The Mechanical Doctor tech offered to assess the situation:he taped it off (preventing rodents, etc. from entering), & came back the following day to properly take care if it, all for a nominal charge. I was extremely happy with the customer service & professionalism of this company.
