Used online signup on Angies list using coupon in the midst of Christmas and New Years period. Scheduled next business day. Two men did the work. They were very conversant and knowledeable. Dicsussed upgrade options since our gas logs are 20+ years old. They were able to clean the components and got the pilot working again so no new equipment was needed. They were very careful about the preventing a mess as they dismantled, cleaned and reassembled the log system. Did other testing for safety and air flow to ensure system was safe and met CO requirements. Asked lots of questions to ensure they made informed decisions and made every efftort to ensure they were forthright and full disclosure on my questions. Top notch quality and customer service/ satisfaction was clearly a primary concern.

They were spectacular. They were very nice people. They're an A+. I would absolutely use them in the future.

They did a great job. The fireplace glass was black due to gas residue from the previous owner. The logs and the chamber were very dirty as well and they did a great job there too. All looked brand new when finished. The only issue was the logs would not stay lit so we decided to put off fixing them for now due to other issues we are fixing in the house, but when we do move forward we will have Kevin come back out to do the work.

Furnace appeared to be working properly for a after they worked on it. Then a few weeks later the problems started again. Problem of was misdiagnosed as faulty float switch. They were going to charge me another 39 dollar diagnosis fee. I then contacted the original company that installed the furnace and a/c. They replaced the circuit board which WAS still under warranty. They said they couldn't believe this company charged me 195 dollars to replace a 10 dollar float switch. They did say however that it could have been difficult to diagnose. I don't think the special through Angie's list saved me any money. Lost 195 dollars because I didn't call original installer ( Lake Wylie Heating) first.

Showed up on time and performed winter tune up service.

Wayne was very professional and courteous. He was able to squeeze my appointment in the same day and was punctual when he said he would be here. He did a detailed check of my system, cleaned burners and adjusted gas pressure. He did not rush through his service call and made sure my system was in top shape. After ensuring no major issues or Co leaks, Wayne offered some suggestions and answered all my questions before finishing up. He even took the time to cover his shoes before entering the house. I was completely satisfied with the service call and at a good price. I definitely will use and recommend Wayne and Mechanical Doctor, Inc. in the future.

Very good at the service provided and also gave good advice on care and maintenance. Arrived on time and wasted no time winterizing the heater system. Told me what trouble signs to look for and instruction on the system operation in general.

Two technicians from Mechanical Doctor showed up on time and quickly and thoroughly comepleted a tune up on both our a/c unit and our gas furnace. This was completed at our rental house and I took advantage of an Angie's List Deal

He did a good job once he call his boss and charged more money to do what he was hired to do. It was paid at least we wanted to make sure everything was save. So if something happened after they did their work the responsibility would be on them.

Mechanical Doctor arrived in the afternoon, as promised, after I called for service earlier that morning. Technician services were spot on, fixed issue after a very short time. Company is efficient, courteous and reliable.

Mechanical Dr., Inc. was very prompt in their response for my request for a quotation. They changed the original schedule for the service but this was not a problem for me as I was home on a holiday vacation and had no other plans. The cost of the repair was approximately one half of the cost quoted by two other heating contractors. I used an Angie's List coupon to receive a discount on the service fee.

I was not at home, and my wife was at home. They checked everything and they provided the feedback on how the system was working. I didn't see the benefit of the work, because they just looked at it and left. They called me before the appointment,and the interaction with them was good. I thought they would do something more like they would check the AC, and make a report. The price was good, and they were on time.

I bought 2 deals @$49.00 for a furnace tune up. The appointment was set up for Tuesday 12/02/14 between 10AM and 12. We received a call at 11:30AM to say they would be here at 11:50. They showed on time,came in with shoe covers and introduced themselves. Kevin and Jay were the techs and they went straight to the task. We needed a capacitor on each unit which they replaced. They repaired a "pipe" dislodged by roofers during a roof replacement (at no cost) and re secured a blower fan (also no cost).Kevin told us about a maintenance agreement which we declined as we are selling in 2 years.We were very pleased with the service and would recommend them to our friends.

Wayne was great with my father and myself watching his every move and hanging on every word we never felt like he was annoyed, he showed us how the system works what might go bad what did go bad and how he can replace it. I look forward to doing more business with the "Mechanical Doctor, Inc." again in the spring when it is time to use my a/c again.

We sold our house and they checked our furnace to make sure it was working properly. It was leaking gas, so thank goodness they came to check it. They replaced a broken valve and fixed a clogged pipe that was causing a leak. Over all, very happy with the service.

These guys were very friendly and professional. They cleaned out a filter in my furnace I didn't know was there, and it needed it. They confirmed my water overflow was draining well (it hadn't been before but some bleach took care of that). They thoroughly washed the condenser unit outside. They tested the electronics on the unit. There was one sensor that tested "low", and frankly their replace price was much higher (of course) than the price to buy it online. Luckily I have someone who can help me out with that sort of thing if it needs replacing in the future. But the guys were terrific and I would use the service again.
