Ac inspection. A $145 part was needed to fix a problem w outside blower fan. gentleman was professional and completed work acceptable to me.

Since last year I had a contract with Mechanical Doctor for the annual inspection of my AC and furnace. Kevin and Mark came to do the spring inspection of my AC and found major problems with both the AC and the furnace. They were 15 years old and in poor condition. Instead of having to annually pay for repairs of the two units, I accepted the option of having them replaced with new, energy efficient ones. The cost was quite high, but I knew that, in the long run, this was the most economical choice. Kevin and Mark came early this morning and worked diligently on removing the old units and installing the new ones. Later, Wayne came and replaced the old thermostat with a new, programmable one. This was a big job and they worked continuously to finish in a reasonable amount of time.I like the end results off their hard work. The units not only look good, but they also work very well. Kevin, Mark and Wayne are knowledgeable, professional, courteous and reliable. I am definitely going to use them again since I have contract with them both this year and next. But I am sure that I will continue to use their services for more years to come. I highly recommend Mechanical Doctor. They may be a bit expensive but they do a very good job.

We had just purchased a home in Charlotte and when using the fireplace there was a strong odor that permeated the house. The guys came out and cleaned out the fireplace, adjusted and cleaned the logs with a solution and ran a check for any gas leaks. The fireplace had never been cleaned out and was very dirty. After they performed the service I could definitely tell the difference. The only mishap we had was when they were cleaning they broke a vase. They didn't offer to replace or take any further discounts off so the "deal" I paid for was pretty much non-existent. They were apologetic and accidents happen. I would use them again.

They were very helpful, addressed an issue with the logs and extremely clean.

Found a bad capacitor. Charged $120 to replace capacitor in addition to original Angie's list purchase.

It turned out well. The big deal price was $49. I asked the individual who came out to take a look at something else. He did something else as well. It was about $75 additional. This was the first time I used them. He did a good job. The pricing was good.

Very good. Called to confirm, then to let me know they were 30 minutes out. On time. Courteous and professional. Wrote up a detailed description of services performed and took the time to explain and answer questions. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Repairman was very professional and friendly. Came on time to evaluate our 19 year old HVAC system. He gave us excellent info in reference to the life of the system and the new systems available. We did not use this company for the replacement because we received a lower price from another contractor for similar components.

This service went extremely well. The guy arrived 5 minutes early, and was very polite and professional. He did a thorough job on the HVAC unit, and he explained what he was doing and looking for along the way. I'd definitely use these guys again.

I was having a problem with the igniter and they fixed it all very nicely. I'm very happy. I would recommend them because they were on time. They were super clean and neat, and finished up in a real timely manner. They were super nice. Everything was great. If I had to, I certainly would use them again.

The technicians were professional, friendly, efficient, and on-time. The $49 inspection was a good deal, but the $128 charge to replace a $20 part seems high to me. I would use them again.

I used the coupon from Angie's list. They came out quickly and inspected all four units. Good news is nothing major wrong with them. The bad news is they are heat pumps and not much can be done to have them heat the house better.

Mechanical Doctor was prompt in responding to my AL request and scheduled an appointment. The technician arrived when scheduled and went to work immediately inspecting the attic and crawlspace furnances (after letting us know that the second furnace would be an additional charge). He appeared to be very knowledgeable about the system and gave us some maintenance hints after completing the inspection. I would def work with the company again.

the provider arrived on time and performed a great service / cleaning of my gas fireplace. Provider even realized that the logs were not arranged as per manufacturer spec hence he connected to the web to find installation manual and arrange the logs in the right order. I am also feeling more comfortable in light of his comment around the vent and the test of the carbon monoxide. Great service and I will use use the provider again next year

.Mark called to let me know he was on his way to my home .Mark was on time and very professional with his work. Mark explained everything he was doing to my gas logs and why. Upon completing the job he cleaned up the job site.I would definitely use them again.

He gentleman who came over was great, he was very professional and informative.
