Kevin was fantastic. He was on time and respectful of our home (he wore booties). He took his time to inspect our furnaces - I never felt he was rushing through the job. He genuinely cared and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the service. He is trustworthy and that is extremely important to me. I will be using Kevin again and will recommend him to friends and family.

Kevin showed up right on time. He inspected the system which is very old and got everything cleaned and functioning properly. Once finished he tested the unit to see if it was giving off any Carbon Monoxide, which it fortunately was not. Kevin kept the area very clean and was very nice and informative.

He was prompt and replaced the fan. He offered a deal of the cost of the fan back if we purchased a new system from the company. We found a better deal with another company and did not take them up on the offer.

This company is excellent and their technicians are top of the line.

I bought the package on Sunday night and by 9:00 AM Monday morning had an appointment for the work to be done on Tuesday. Justin did a great job, very detailed work and kept the all the dirt on the tarp that he brought. Did everything that I would expect and then some in making sure it was all very clean and that it looked good when he was done. Appreciated him showing me how all the manual controls worked and let me re-light the pilot light while he was still here. GREAT JOB.

It went great; the technician arrived on time, took a look at our set up, asked a few questions and went right to work. The problem was due to the logs needing cleaning. The technician was friendly, courteous and clean. After he got everything back together he took extra time to make sure it was working safe and correctly. The technician answered all our questions and more. He even recommend an additional carbon monoxide detector and explained where we should put it.

I purchased the deal for the $129 Gas Log Fireplace Tune-Up, Cleaning, and Inspection - they were very prompt in getting the service scheduled. Kevin called me on his way to my home and was on time. They did a very thorough cleaning of my gas logs - including removing/cleaning the glass, vacuuming every part, cleaning up rocks that were in places they shouldn't have been. They did an outstanding job! The gas logs look like a brand new set and I would highly recommend their services.

We have an old gas fireplace insert that would not start. Mechanical Doctor gave it a "tune-up" by removing the logs and cleaning the various parts. They removed the glass,made some adjustments to the flame - - - and it works like a charm now. They wore shoe protection when they came in and spread a tarp in front of the fireplace which was their work area.

Justin showed up on time (actually early after calling to see if he could come earlier than planned). He completely inspected and cleaned my gas fireplace, which hadn't been looked at in years. He replaced the "embers" so that it had a nice yellow flame. He also explained exactly what he did, he explained that the pilot light should be blue, and when it's not, it's likely dirty and needs to be cleaned. He showed me how to turn my pilot light on and off (which I had never done), and watched while I did it myself after his instruction so that I wouldn't forget how. Nice guy, very professional. I would use them again.

Justin was very thorough diagnosing the issue with our gas logs, and explained everything clearly. He was very polite and professional. He returned today to put in the new gas valve, made sure it was working correctly, and spent time cleaning up and making sure the logs were arranged correctly. I have already referred him and Mechanical Doctor to a friend. I would definitely call Mechanical Doctor again!

The company said they could not service my unit.

It was okay. They came out on time as expected. But, it was a little expensive. There was an additional cost. I paid $200 extra. It looks like they did a good job but it was very expensive. I just want to give them 3 out of 5 stars. For a small thing, they charged a lot of money. But when I looked online, I saw that everybody does the same thing. I won't recommend them.

I recieved a call when they were on their way. They were professional and took the time to explain my system and how it works to me. Very detail oriented. I was impressed and look forward to a long term working relationship with them.

Great experience from beginning to end!! Purchased two deals for a tune-up for the gas fireplace and one for a furnace inspection/tune-up to get the house ready for winter and we just purchased the house too. Was contacted the next day to schedule the appointment and set the date for two weeks out. Received a call a couple days later that they had a cancellation and wanted to move the appointment up a week. The Tech, Justin, called the morning of the appointment and said he was on the way and arrived within the scheduled window. He did a great job of doing the furnace inspection and the fire place service. Provided some recommendations and options for us to consider but not a hard sell. Was a pleasure dealing with Mechanical Doctor and Justin and would HIGH RECOMMEND them in the future

The technician was very knowledgeable and professional in demeanor and appearance. He arrived on time and gave excellent service. I waited to write the review to see if the service provided did, indeed, provide a long-term solution. It did! The technician did not try to upsell me or push more significant repairs than I really required. I would highly recommend this company.

Kevin did a great job in getting our fireplace cleaned up and in good running order. He found a problem and was able to order the part and install when it came in.
