They were excellent! They stayed beyond normal working hours to finish and were committed and dedicated to the job.

DO NOT RECOMMEND - DID NOT FINISH THE JOB, LEFT MY YARD AND EXISTING DRIVEWAY A MESS. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Saw Finishing Touch as a highly rated contractor on Home Advisor and requested a quote. James came out and while not prepared with working measuring tools, he was incredibly friendly and professional. He was the sole reason I decided to hire them. James said that I give half the money up front and the other half when the job is complete. Sounded good to me. Simeon, the owner of the company, had his team come out the very next Monday; Thankfully James was with them, and I provided the first half of the bill. They left that day and didn't show up the next few days. I wasn't sure what was going on, and no one called. So the next day I had errands to run and left the house; and they showed up while I was gone to pour the concrete patio/drive extension. I got a call from Simeon around 5:30pm asking if I was home because they completed the job. I said I wasn't, but if he came by at 11:30am the next day, we could talk about the work and I'd give him the other half of the money. I got home shortly after and was very disappointed in the work. All of the wood forms and plastic covers were all over, they cleaned their concrete tools off IN MY YARD, they left clothes and trash all around my yard, they spilled concrete on my existing driveway and didn't clean it, much of the patio wasn't smooth, but rough; and finally they poured the side patio at an angle, instead of 90deg, and it looked terrible. Was at house at 10:30am the next day and at Noon no one had come by. I sent a text to Simeon and he said that he was there at 11:15 and I wasn't home and he supposedly called. This was not true; no missed calls and no one came to the door. My husb decided to call him and explain the issues we had, and Simeon only cared the he wasn't getting the other half of his money. He sent a team out later that evening to see the issues. The team immediately started cleaning the area and fixing the crooked patio. After a long talk with my husb, and some assurances from Simeon and Raphael (team lead), we agreed to give them the other half of the money, trusting their word that they would clean their forms (lots of wood), their trash/clothes, the yard and existing driveway mess properly, and fix the crooked patio and they would come back the following week to take the forms off of the part of the patio they had to fix. It has been FOUR WEEKS, I called, sent texts, and THEY NEVER CAME BACK. Their forms and plastic are still in my yard and the existing driveway was not cleaned. Took pictures just this morning to show it is all still as they left it. I wish we wouldn't have trusted his word and kept the other half of the money until the job was truly complete. He clearly collected his money and moved on. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.

Would strongly suggest getting quote in writing before starting work. Crew outstanding. Did a nice job but had to pull forms before concrete was set up due to cooler weather and darkness. Had some chips where edges not completely set before forms being pulled. Would hire again but with contract.

Called for a quote and they came out that same evening. Price was better than my expectations and they said they could start the next day. They were there promptly the next day and started laying out the driveway to my new garage. They allowed us to look at a number of options and we settled on a final design. Since it was Friday it was Tuesday the next week when the concrete pour was done. The crew worked all day and the finish and grading was tricky but the results were most satisfactory. They finished the next day with cutting the control joints and cleaning up the forms. I would recommend them for your job!

Very professional. Work was completed in a timely manner. Concrete garage floor looks GREAT.

After a few delays due to rain and floods, the guys finally came out and immediately got to work. They recognized the importance of finishing as quickly as possible since our driveway would be "out of commission" during that time. They worked late into the evening in the rain and the last day they worked until after 8 pm to make sure the work was complete. They came out a few days later after the driveway had a chance to cure and did a final clean up. We had a difficult situation with drainage due to a large tree encroaching on the driveway and they put an excellent grade on the new driveway and sidewalk. Right after they finished we got the opportunity to see how well the drainage was working as it poured rain for two days. The guys were great and went out of their way to answer all my questions. They even moved sod for us to fill in blank spots in our yard. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to having them back when we tackle our patio. The project was Great. They started right away and finished on time. Beautiful work, They removed old Driveway, Hauled away old concrete , and installed new concrete.

Down to earth company. I called Simeon in the evening hours and met and James the next morning. He provide me with the best job quote within minutes and scheduled the work to starting the next morning. It only took the crew days to prep the site and complete the new double driveway. They provide prompt, dependable, quality work with a good site cleaned up after the job. James inspected the project after completion. I plan to use this company again. Great company and crew to work with.

Simeon quickly answered our request for a driveway addition. We met and discussed our need and had a competitive quote in minutes. The crew showed up promptly the next morning and were finished by early afternoon. The finished product met my expectations while the installation time exceeded them. I highly recommend this company.

James and Ray were the onsite supervisors. They and their crew were very accommodating and prompt. Cleaned-up very well after the project's completion.

Very disappointed with the quality of the work. Job scope consisted of: 1. Demo of old driveway and sidewalk. 2. Install new driveway and sidewalk. 3. Install small addition to back yard patio. 4. Install 12' x 20' slab in back yard for garage. Site prep was not complete when the concrete truck arrived. The crew started with the 12' x 20' slab. The slab forms had not even been completed when the concrete truck arrived. The concrete was being poured while the forms were installed. The crew had to come back a week later and saw 3 inches off the ends of the slab to square it up. The slab also was not level in some spots, making garage construction difficult. The patio extension turned out ok, but the finish work was sloppy. The driveway and sidewalk was not graded properly, with a noticeable dip at the driveway and sidewalk joint. The finish work was very sloppy. The broom finish was not consistent, and some of the edges were not finished properly. The business owner, Mr. Young, was very polite on the phone, but never once came to the job site to address my complaints. He did send a crew out one time for about 3 hours, but they never finished the "punch list", went to lunch, and never returned. I hired this business based on the recommendation of a friend, and other good reviews on this website. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business for concrete work.

dependable and very knowledgeable

I was very impressed with the team of professionals that came out to lay a 10 x 10ft additional patio slab in my backyard. After shopping around for the best deal they were it. We are very pleased with the work they did. They made sure everything was the way I wanted it before they even poured the concrete. They even placed my dogs cage over the slab for me. There was no mess afterwards. Other than my beautiful new addition, you couldn't even tell they were there. It was started today and finished today. Thank you Finishing Touch

I am very pleased. I told them what I would like and they delivered it. Daily phone call about the status and it was completed in less than a week. They are very professional, reliable and honest. I would recommend them to anybody....

The only problem I had was in their cleanup, it was poor. Other than that the work was good and the value was good.

I don't think I could have hired a better company to do this job . They were prompt, polite, and did a magnificent job. I will definitely hire them again if I need concrete work done. They repaired and resurfaced my driveway and everyone says it makes my house look much better with the new driveway.
