I called them and they came out for a free estimate the same day! They arrived on time for the service, and to make matters even better, they finished the work quickly and the actual cost was considerably less than the estimate. Honest people doing good work here! We're already planning on using G & L again for our next home projects.

I highly recommend G&l Electric. I have a very old house and Tim Gould was able to carve out the center of an old ceiling medallion very carefully and install a new box into which he installed a beautiful chandelier... a very complex job! Tim was quick to call establish contact. Although it was small job, he was very professional and courteous and made me feel like I was a valued customer. He talked to me in language I could understand and gave me a clear and concise estimate of cost. Tim arrived right on time. He worked efficiently and had the task done on time and at the estimated cost. If you are like me, too often you hire people who come across as doing you a favor and you feel hostage to their over priced work. Tim has both expertise and interpersonal skills. I have used this contractor for putting speaker wiring... Subsequently, I called him for other work. I am totally disappointed for utter lack of professionalism and tried to rip me off by putting "artificial" hours and nothing to show for. Basically he wanted to be paid inspite of his inability to deliver.

In short, Tim was awesome. We had several projects that took about 3 days to complete. Tim was patient (2.5 months between first contact and start of job) due to a corresponding landscaping project. He came in on-time and exactly to his estimate. He's top notch in our book. I wouldn't use anyone else, and I'm very particular about workers at my home.
