I recently relocated from OH and needed flooring installed in my new Simpsonville home prior to having my furniture/belongings delivered from the moving company. Greer Flooring was extremely helpful, professional, courteous, and willing to work around a very tight schedule of dates to accomplish an entire first floor of replacement hardwood and carpeting. The installation crew was also willing to work a very long day to try and help with the situation and all of the working crews we had in the home at the time. Since I was out of state at the time of purchase, Greer Flooring was able to help me over the phone and via email to pick out the right flooring for my home (sight unseen, since I had no time to view flooring in OH prior to the move) and have the overall cost fit within my budget without compromising quality. I've received many compliments on it and appreciate the top-notch customer service.

We were moving from a distance so the work was performed in our absence. When we arrived we discovered that doors were removed and not replaced. The front door was not able to be opened as a result of the new floors which I think should have been addressed as the work was being done. We had an oil painitng that had splatters on it as well as on the walls. One side of the room had been cleaned but not the other. There was a bottle with someone's "chew" spit in it left in a closet. No transitions were installed which I thought would be included. Hard woods have gouges. Not knots but gouges. We went in to settle up and we expressed our concerns. They just brushed it off. In fact, the sales person that we originally worked with actually walked off in mid conversation. We were polite and had hoped that someone would at least come out and look. No such luck. Nothing was given to us as to their warranty on their work. We will never use them again, nor will we recommend them to anyone.

The installers arrived and quickly went to moving the furniture out of the bedrooms. They removed the old carpet and padding and applied the new tac strips. They were finished with the recarpeting in about 6 hours and put all the furniture back in the same spots it was when they moved, without me having to direct them :). The installers were great, they took a short lunch break in their van. The staff at Greer Florring were very nice and friendly and they answered all my questions, they even told me about the you tube video of the Rhino that lived on the mohawk carpet.

Great experience! Todd was wonderful to work with and installers were very good at their assignments. We love the new carpet and Todd had great suggestions for us once we discussed our needs and budget.

We contacted Greer Flooring for a bid. They came out the next day to provide a bid and review the process, time frame. The following day we received a bid through email. We arranged for them to do the work while we were out of town. When we returned, the floors were beautiful, the transitions were beautiful and the house was very clean. There was definitely dust but they really cleaned up well. I would definitely reccomend Greer Flooring. We dealt with Greg Davian who was courteous and professional throughout the whole process.

The prestained floor we purchased was warped. Greer flooring contacted the manufacturer, got us a refund and replaced the flooring within a matter of days. They are extremely professional and great to work with--would recommend them any time.

My husband and I bought a townhome that needed ALL its floors - downstairs and upstairs - replaced. Originally we were going to use one of the big box stores (Lowes or Home Depot) but that was a mistake; when we had the original measurements done by Lowes, the guy who came out said that we had a "moisture problem" downstairs that meant they couldn't install ANY floors unless we had the foundation renovated. One plumber, a flooring expert, and a disaster specialist later, we learned that there was just ONE spot that was a little damp, and the Lowes guy just wasn't very experienced. After that we decided to go with a local company where everyone we dealt with - from the measurements to the sales people to the actual installers - really knew what they were doing. So, we used Greer Flooring upon the recommendation of a friend and we are so glad we did. Everyone we came in contact with was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The price of carpet+installation and engineered hardwood+installation was actually LOWER than the quote that we had received from the big box stores. The salesperson we worked with was very communicative and willing to stay late and adjust his schedule to work around our needs. It was particularly great that they did the installation SO QUICKLY. At Lowes we were looking at a three week turnaround time: Greer did it in a week to meet our deadline. We chose Mohawk SmartStrand carpet, which we had picked out before we even knew what flooring people we were going to work with. We love the carpet and can't say enough good things about it. Even though it's not the cheapest carpet, Greer Flooring has some kind of arrangement with Mohawk where they keep a lot of SmartStrand carpet in stock in a couple select colors, so as long as you like one of the colors, you can buy the carpet for a discounted price, which is we took advantage of. The carpet installation looks great. The engineered hardwood installation looks amazing as well, and the installers were really nice and professional. All in all we're very happy with our experience.

Tile workmanship was excellent. A few repairs related to the installation were required after completion of the job, but Greer Flooring followed through and fixed everything to our satisfaction.

When we wanted to replace our carpeting with a wood floor, I looked at several stores and talked to several sales people. The owner of Greer was great. He answered our main question about whether to get solid wood or engineered wood. He told us that engineered was recommended for established homes due to the humidity in the south tending to warp a solid wood floor. He didn't try to over sell me, which I greatly appreciated. He did show me that he had a great buy on a solid hickory, if I did chose to go with solid wood. But he had an excellent price on Mohawk oak, which is what I went with.We had a large area done (bedrooms, living areas, dining room, kitchen and half bath.) I can't say enough positive things about the wonderful young men who installed our floor. They moved our furniture carefully. They were meticulous workers. The head crew man, Joe, was obviously a perfectionist. That is a great person to have working in your house! They worked diligently and carefully . It took about a week to install our floor, but every day they left our house neat and clean. It was obvious that they had a great deal of pride in their work. Another area where they were vastly superior was that they evened the floors from the kitchen to the dining room. A competitor, who was more expensive, was just going to have a room connector with slightly different height floors.

We found them on Angies List and we have to say the person who came out and did the flooring the first time was a sub contractor. It was badly done and so they came out and looked and came back to fix it. It was still not good. So in September they came out and tore out all the flooring and re-did it at their expense. It is still not perfect but it is a lot better than what it was. So my only comment is don’t use them. They did come out, the owner did come and they were responsive. But for 6 months it was a mess. Price wise they were reasonable, pretty much what we would pay for anybody to come. The company was professional but the person who came was not. The company is responsible for their workman. We will not use them in the future.

The installation was good. We had a little problem with scheduling. The floor was not available on the day they were supposed to install it. Other than that they were good.

Salespeople at the center seemed more occupied with large jobs, so we were pretty much on our own to select product to use. I searched online for pricing & they matched my best local price, which was about 30% off original product quote. Installer, Clint Youngblood & his team were great, which made up for the less than stellar salespeople. Courteous, respected our home & did a beautiful job. They trimmed a piece along edge where floor met carpet was loose. They came back immediately & made it right.

Greer Flooring Center staff members were very polite to us both in helping us choose our carpeting and installing it. The workers came to our home when scheduled. They did a high quality job. Our carpet looks very nice. I was very pleased with the whole experience. I would recommend them to others.

We were very happy with the service that we had from them. They scheduled an appointment for installation pretty fast. The workers were very prompt and professional. They did a very good job on my floors, as they looked very nice. We were very happy with our flooring, as well as the service we received from them.

Greer did an excellent job with the carpeting. They did have to go and buy extra material because they ran out of what we had. They also gave me some extra at no extra charge in case that I came across any accidents at all with the new carpet. I thought that was very generous of them.

I was impressed with the high quality of carpet they installed and the way they did it. The installation of the carpet was done in a timely manner, and they were very professional. They were very tidy throughout the installation process and did a nice job of cleaning up after they were done. They even hauled away our old carpet for us.

This was a huge job and we were worried about whether they could handle it. They made believers out of us. I have personally done a great deal of wood working myself so I know how hard it is to do it right. They had very few problems with the project and the hardwood floors are beautiful. All of our friends have commented on them so Greer Flooring did not let us down.
