TruGreen Lawn Care - 5460

I was with them for a lot of years and then I canceled the plan and went with someone else maybe in October of 2010. I switched because I felt like I just became a number. They used to come and treat the lawn and there wasn’t any feedback. We had a big infestation of army worms in this area and it killed off a lot of the lawns. I didn’t hear anything from the company saying that there was an infestation and they never came out to deal with it. I expected them to do that since they are a lawn company. They should have been proactive and notified their customers and offered to treat it. Shortly after the infestation which literally ate our whole front lawn, they came and did a treatment. The tech just did the same thing that he normally does. He didn’t even ask me as to what happened to my lawn. He just put the fertilizers and did weed control and that was it. I paid them per treatment which was based on the size of the property. It was about $360 or $370 per year. I think the price was average. The local company did call me back and did attempt to get back my business. Eventually the owner of the local franchise called me subsequently couple of months down the road to ask me. He even apologized for the experience that I had. They did try at the end to rectify it, but I had already signed up with somebody else at that point. I would probably not hire them again. I think they are trying to change some of their practices and approaches now. So, somebody new may have a new experience.

They did exactly what I asked them to do. They are different than the other landscapers because they put down my pre-emergence weed control, insect control. They are more of a chemical, where some of them are weekly maintenance, some of them are landscapers. That's what I went with different people. I just signed a year contract and they came and did what they wanted to do and left. I live in an area where you really have to maintain your lawn. So when I was gone I told them what needs to be done and it was done when I got back.

Over-promised and under-delivered. Lawn not in good shape to start with but I was assured that weed killer would help and that once the reseeding was done it would be a huge improvement. All the work was done, but there was absolutely no improvement at the end or at any point in time. They say now there are too many weeds and different kinds of grass, and the service was started too late. That's not what they said 6 months ago. We asked them to call to let us know when work would be done, they never did.

This was an awful experience. Come to find out they were charging us for our entire back lawn, but since we have two large dogs and they didn't call us in time for us to put them inside first, they were not able to treat 50% of the lawn. I just happened to be there one day when they treated and some him go nowhere near where the dogs were understandably - however we were charged the same amount as our next door neighbors who have the same size lawn. This had been going on for four treatments already. We told them to always call the day before to make sure our pets were inside. I happened to be home one morning when we had not received notice and saw the truck pull up and the tech got ready to treat again - with our pets outside. The last straw was when a large patch of our beautiful zoysia grass died mysteriously right after Chemlawn came. They came back out and said they had never seen that happen before! We cancelled yet they continued to call and try to negotiate.

Our grass had patches of weeds that were green, but not grass. The previous home owner did not take care of the lawn. Now our grass is thick and the weeds are decreasing with every treatment. We think they did a pretty good job overall with the spray, but were disappointed about the aeration.

I am sorry to say that the people at Scott's were quite indifferent to the results their work had on our yard. They would say the problem of the dying grass was taken care of after reseeding in the fall and then it would just die out again in June. Then they would charge us all over again to do the same thing, with the same results. We found someone else who had what we now know was a lawn fungus problem corrected within two weeks. I would not recommend this company. I unfortunately cannot recall the cost, but since the results were so poor, it was too much.

They completely failed to prevent fungus from killing our very expensive turf. Their excuse was that the summer was especially wet and the fungicide washed off. The lawn subsequently became over run with crab grass that grew up in the areas killed by the fungus. It was very difficult to get anyone at their office who would discuss the problem. Mainly they they tried to give us the run around saying that there a many kinds of crab grass, or the rain washed away the chemicals, etc.

Tru Green Chem Lawn did a good job on our lawn. We got the results that we were looking for. The workers were here on time as scheduled. The workers were professional and friendly. I watched them for a while and was impressed at the care they took to do a good job. I would recommend this company to others.

They showed up when they said they would and the grass definitely looked well than it did. We have only had them out for 3 applications and I could already see improvements. I have been pretty impressed with them so far. They came out twice a year.

The only service we have hired out is the lawn maintenance work. The technician is on time for all appointments and is very well mannered. If we request it he will knock on our door, so we can a have short word with him. They only time this is done is when there is one particular area we think needs special attention. He responds to this and is usually finished in twenty minutes or so. They have done an excellent job the lawn really looks good.

I thought the people from Tru Green Chem Lawn did a fine job on the lawn. Everything grew in just as expected. They are good at what they do. For the cheap price they charged, I am pretty sure I will be calling them to come back out and do some more fertilizing next year.

This contractor was nothing short of superb. They did an incredible job of keeping our yard looking so rich and full of life and it really stood out in our neighborhood. Our family and friends were astonished at the year round up keep of our lawn, as are we.

Tru Green Chem Lawn does a great job fertilizing our lawn. The lawn always looks very green and healthy. We have no lawn pests or unwanted weeds either. We are very happy with the service they provide.

I would say that Tru Green has great services to offer. I like the fact that you can pay them one lump sum in the beginning of the year and still receive great services all year round. I take a lot of pride in the way my yard looks and having them around really keeps things looking even better than me doing it all alone.

I was very impressed with their service. They showed up when they said they would and they were very reliable and dependable. I saw plenty of improvements in the lawn. They were able to keep the yard weed free and green. I really liked them a lot.

Tru Green Chem Lawn fertilized our lawn in the past. They did a good job and were always here as scheduled. The workers were always reliable. I would recommend them to others looking for this type of service. We did get a riding lawn mower that has an attachment so we now do our own fertilizing. I for some reason we would again hire out this service we would call Tru Green again.

Scott s Lawn Service comes here to do the fertilizing weed and insect treatment on my lawn. They do a great job of providing the service. I am always pleased with the results. They are here when expected and the workers are professional. I would recommend this company to others.

We employed Tru Green for a total of five years and four of those years everything went well. The fifth year, however, the treatments started killing the grass. We don't know if they started using different chemicals or if their method had changed, but whatever it was we had enough. After several calls to the home office with no results we canceled our contract.

Tru Green comes every three months to fertilize, spray, or aerate our lawn. The lawn is looking very good, except there are a few weeds here and there visible that they didn't eradicate.

I haven't had any complaints about them at all. They have been doing a great job for me. I have used them for 5 years now and they have kept my yard looking nice. I definitely noticed some improvements once I started using them. They were reliable and showed up on time when they claimed they would.

I have been using True Green for a number of years now and have no complaints at all. I am pleased with their work and I feel that it is worth every dime spent. It not only turns out looking good but it says me the hassle of having to do it myself. They probably do a better job than I do anyways.

They have always done a good job for me and I have used them for several years now. They have always done, what I asked of them without any hassles. Since using them ,I have seen a marked improvement in my lawn. They were the best in my opinion and very reliable.

They did an okay job, and for the most part we were satisfied with their service. However, I felt there was some overall room for improvement. We recognized some results and improvement in the lawn. They showed up on time and didn t waste a bunch of time. They just got the job done.

We only had four treatments to this point, but the yard looked promising. We thought this would be a long-term relationship. They came out on time, and did what needed done in a professional manner. They answered all our questions, and gave some excellent suggestions for our lawn. We really liked their service.

I'm satisfied; they keep our grass green and pretty much pest free. The guys comes over without any interruptions in your daily life. They keep your lawn clean and they're consistent with the work they provide. I've been using them for about 5 years and they come around about 4 times a year.
