We hired Baker on advice of our contractor to purchase and install shower glass. Owner seemed knowledgable and was courteous. Initial quote was 2K for job, with proviso he would come out inspect and measure when tile was finished. He came out, inspected, measured with my contractor and confirmed price. Installers were courteous and work appeared to be satisfactory. After reconfirming price twice (after initial quote, and measurement) once job completed, his tech told me the price was $200 more. After discussing with him on phone, he did agree to keep to original quote. After job was complete and paid for, we discovered his guys screwed through a wire that shorted out the fan and light in bathroom and missed the stud behind the tile. When i called him to discuss, he initially stated they would stand behind their work, then kind of put it back on me by asking "how are my guys supposed to know there are wires back there?". It wasn't a huge deal to get repaired, but needless to say I was disappointed in his response. I would just think if your in this business, maybe you and your techs should invest in a wire and stud finder.
