Precision Garage Door Service

Entered to Garage finding one problem after another, went from $100.00 to close to 800.00, for a garage that was working fine, just noisy and squeaked. After much discussion we spent the $700 and the door now is very quiet. But I believe it's extremely overpriced. Very Depressing.

This was a true bait and switch. A 99.00 tune up turned into a lets scare the heck out of the lady about a spring breaking and the damage it can do so it needs to be replaced at additional 500.00. After talking to the builder of my house, custom built with a reputable builder, he told me I was scammed. I could kick myself for being such a sucker!

They did very well and they were very professional. They when through my whole door system to see that everything was working fine. I was very please with them.

The doors now lift all the way up with no binding during the operation. Both were sagging and one was bining and getting humg prior to the overhaul.

I'm very pleased with the work performed by Precision Door Service. I called on a Saturday morning expecting to make an appointment for the following week, but a serviceman was at my house within four hours of my call. The serviceman was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything in detail and took the time to answer all of our questions. I will continue to call Precision for all of my garage door needs.

I bought Precision's $99.99 garage door tune-up special off of Angie's List. BIG MISTAKE! Don't fall for their trap, this seems to be just a way to get in your door and try to charge you for a bunch of unneeded services. I was at work when the tech showed up at my house, and within just a few minutes I'm getting a call from my wife. He is wanting to replace this part, repair this, redo this, on and on. She is panicking because the guy is scaring her and telling her how bad our door is and that it's basically going to fall on somebody at any point. So I get on the phone with him, and he goes through his long speech about everything that is wrong with our garage door. What he is wanting to do to fix it would have cost $800 plus. I told him I wasn't interested in spending a bunch of money, just to do the service that I had paid for and let that be it. So he did, but again left my wife with a bunch of information and told her to please not even think about using the garage door, that it was dangerous. So the next day I ended up calling Neil with Affordable Garage Door Repair Co. and he came right out within a few hours. He said the system was in good working order except for a worn out bushing and sprocket, which he replaced for $135.00...TOTAL. He said other than that my system was perfect. I will definitely choose him from now on out! Don't fall for a cheap package that Precision is offering, call someone else first and save yourself money in the long run!

I used them when Angie's List ran a special on them. They were great and I was happy with everything. They were on time, efficient and knew what they were doing. They did what they told me they were going to do. I paid for extra stuff, I actually spent more money than I intended to. I understand that is the whole point of them doing an Angie's List promotion.

I liked them. I would rate them highly. They were really good. They did a great job and of top quality and were on time.

The emloyee showed up on time and was in uniform w/ a company logo on his truck. He got right to work and in a few minutes called me out to garage to explain all the work he was going to do and what he/the company recommended for my garage door. He was very polite and thorough. I think he gave me all options and reasons why i should have the recommended service done. When he was done, I received a written estimate of work they suggested. The tune up he did on my garage door is awesome. It is now whisper quiet and operates very smoothly. When I decide to have that work done on my garage door I will certainly call them again.

My garage door opener stopped working some time ago. I attempted to fix it myself, but I was unsuccessful. I thought that I might need a new garage door opener. The technician was able to fix the opener without trying to "upsell" me to a new opener. However, he offered to replace the rollers, springs, etc. on the door. This would have raised the price by several hundred dollars. I said "No" and he did not push the issue, which I appreciate.

It went very well. I called them because of the coupon. They had more reviews so I picked them. With the repair it was a free service call. When I called them I wasn’t sure when I could set it up, the secretary was very accommodating. They offered a courtesy call. He called me in 10 minutes! He was only a few miles away and was able to get my house within 15 minutes of my call. It only took him about an hour to fix the springs. I was very pleased.

It was the first time we had used them. They did a great job. I would use them again.

Precision responded on the day they were called. The technician examined the door opener clearly and professionally explained what needed to be done. He separate the mandatory repairs from the optional in his explanation. When the work was agreed on, he proceeded with the repair with efficiency and speed. The door opener has worked without a problem since they were out in June.

It turned out well. The technician said he worked for this company for a few years, and he was such a gentleman. He was the only one that took down the old garage door, then installed the new one. They didn’t charge me for a service call since I am a senior, which I asked about. A few weeks later, I noticed some water underneath the garage, and saw that the rubber strip had slipped, so I called them. He was very responsive, came out and apologized. He fixed it and now the door works great!

The experience was terrific. The workmen were personable, and obviously knew what they were doing. They did a good job.

They’re excellent. This is the company that installed the garage doors before we lived in this home. If we’ve ever had any problems, they’re very responsive. The technicians have all seemed extremely competent and knew their business. In fact, the first technician that came out was the one who installed the doors for the previous owners. He was knowledgeable and provided great advice. They inform me of what the cost of the service will be before they arrive, and that’s been what I’ve paid. All work was done in satisfactory manner, and this firm is an excellent quality firm. I’ve had a number of people that live around here comment on how solid and quiet the doors are. I’ve been very much satisfied with their work and I intend to continue to use their services.

The experience was very good. I was impressed with how well the technicians worked together, so that made the job go smoothly and professionally. I asked for a few small things to be done as well, and they completed those things with no problem.
