Precision Garage Door Service

The company called immediately to schedule, came out on correct day and time and did the work efficiently. I was told that for an additional $151.00 that they could do all that was required to quiet the door. Since the door is old, we just stuck with the $99 deal which did quiet the door somewhat and was helpful.

It went well but I thought the price for the garage springs was a little high.

Went okay but was told my garage doors were no longer available as my home was built in 1989. Guess that's old with technology always changing. Still fine tuned one side (have double doors) and place a keypad on the outside.

Serviceman was very friendly and knoweledgeble. When I need future garage work done, I will definitely call them.

The company rep arrived on time and was very respectful. He explained to me what he was going to do and how long it would take. Not long into the job I asked him how things were going. He told me that since I already had the quiet rollers on my door his service would not do too much to make the door quieter.. He did replace the rollers anyway and lubed the parts. I pointed out that I had one frayed cable. He said it would cost me an additional $100 to replace. I told him that I had a replacement cable. He still wanted to charge me $50 for the work. Since he had completed his contracted work in ten minutes with no significant change in the noise of my door I thought that since he had the equipment and the know-how he could replaced my cord. He didn't want too but I told him that I thought what I paid forthe amount of work he did was ridiculous. After hemming and hawing and talking to his boss he finally did the job in about five minutes. He left soon afterwards. Total time on sit - thirty minutes. Despite our differences of opinion the worker was respectful at all times. I guess that replacing my cable was not part of the contract and I shouldn't have expected it but he did it anyway which made me happy.

Bought the Garage Door Quieting Package. The service was easy to schedule, the technician was prompt and answered my questions. He was very efficient with the work and I haven't had any problems since. Very happy with the package.

They arrived on time and got the work done in a timely manner. Good job. I'd hire them again.

The service man did a great job with what he had to work with. The door that was put on the garage was actually too small for the opening / track. The door was also missing parts and some were on backwards. He tightened and replaced parts and reinstalled parts properly (we still have the too-small-garage-door). The door works as good as can be expected... The new lock was installed properly. Overall, a good experience!

Up front an excellent service. Reasonable and professional. However the garage door opener broke again after just a few weeks.

I had been listening to my garage door squeak and whine through every operation for several months. Then an Angie's List special popped up with just the solution. Things have been quiet ever since and I think I saved myself alot of unnecessary wear and tear. Happy customer!

They did an excellent job. Our garage door ia so much quiter and it goes up and down more smoothly than before. Well worth the money.

Door didn'topen properly all the time. They came and made "adjustments" to the openr and said the "real problem" was that the big, ling heavy springs on the overhead track wre worn out. They replaced them and drove away. I paid $189.00 with no change to the door/opener's performance. Disappointed. The house was up for sale then, we sold it shortly thereafter so did not pursue the door problem or "Precision" any further.

Men were on time, neat, cleaned up their work and gave us a good price.

Came out promptly, did the work advertised. When the door opener didn't work, they had to be called to come back; they did, no problem, replaced the unit. Door was cleaned, oiled, adjusted, new outside keypad installed

During the installation, the installer found termite damage. I had damage repaired and scheduled completion time. The installers were on time and finish the job. Very nice and quiet door. Now, I need to find some more money to install another, matching door for the other side,

I used this company as part of my home warranty. Setting the appointment was a breeze and the technician was punctual. The problem was fixed, although I am having problems with the same thing two months later, but that may be no fault of the company as I have a very old garage door opener. Overall they do good work.

Time limited. Will give short version. Gentleman arrived on time. Performed the services of lubrication and cleaning. Afterwards , he started telling my mother all the things she needed for it to work better. At least $400 more of " things" . She called me while he was there and I asked her to put him on the phone. He gave me the same Talk. I told him all I needed from them was to perform the services that I had paid for. That was the end of the conversation. I feel he tried to push services and parts for commission.

A most excellent experience. Jay Vermillion was the company representative who did the inspection and tune up. This is our first time owning a home with garage doors and openers and knew nothing about the motors, the doors or anything. Jay told us upfront what the special did and did not cover (we received a flyer in the mail about a special they were having). Our doors look as though someone had run into both of them more than once. Did not know if the at affected the way the openers worked or if the damage caused any stress on the opener motors. Jay was honest about what kind and quality of doors, motors, etc. He did not try to sell us anything right then and there. He gave us ballpark prices for each componnet of the system and told us of warranties/guarantees. Our doors are noisy, but the system is a chain glide and to be expected somewhat. After the tune-up, my door no longer squeaks like fingernails on a chalk board (argh!), so thank you Jay. Thanks to this great experience, I will use them again and I will request only Jay. Unless he gets cloned in the meantime in the meantime.

I scheduled an appointment for inspection and repair for 9-7-12 and was given a time range of 10AM to 12PM. Right at 12 the technician called to say he was running late and would arrive in 15-20 minutes which he did with a trainee. We discussed the problems with the door and possible solutions. The Technician inspected the door, asked me how much I wanted to spend and I told him that I wanted to know what it would take to repair the door and have it work properly as we are in the process of selling the house. With that he recommended the refurbish package and told me that would solve the problems we were having. He completed the repairs, adjustments and tested the door with me. Everything seemed to be working fine and the door was a lot quieter than before. I wrote him a check for the total and he was on his way to the next job. At this point I was a satisfied customer. Although they were late the technician seemed knowledgeable and was very polite and professional. Approximately 15 minutes later I was locking up and leaving. When I got in my vehicle and pushed the button to close the door I experienced the same problem we had prior to the repairs. I immediately called the company, was told they would get in touch with the technician and get back to me. About 15 minutes later the trainee called back and informed me they were on another job across town and would not be able to come right back. I asked when they would and he told me he did not know as he was "just a trainee". I then called the office back and it became clear that my calls were being routed to a call center in Florida. The representative I was talking with could not tell me anything but that they would contact the technician again. I informed them at this time that I would be issuing a stop payment on the check I had written. Over two hours lapsed with no calls back before I again called the phone number I had. Again the representative could do nothing to help. I asked to speak to their supervisor and was told they were on the phone with another customer and would call me back as soon as that call was completed. Shortly after this the original Technician called me back, we discussed the issues and scheduled a time for him to return and look at the door again the first of the following week. I have yet to date received a call from the supervisor. On the following Monday the Technician was waiting on me when I arrived, inspected the door, made a few more repairs and tested the door again. After repeated testing we felt the door was correct now and I wrote him another check for the full amount less the 30.00 charge for stopping payment on the original check. I explained to him that I felt this was fair considering the problems I had getting in touch with anyone that could help resolve the problem the previous week. I also told him that if his franchise owner did not agree that they should call me to discuss. To date I have not received that call and the check has not cleared the bank. Having worked many years professionally and as a hobbyist on mechanical items it is understandable that sometimes a problem will slip by even the most experienced technicians. Again the technician was very professional and polite. The problem here was I just saw over 500.00 drive away, still had the same problem and could not get anyone on the phone to help resolve the issue or even seem like they cared for over three hours. The technician indicated that they get a lot of complaints about the call center and that it is almost impossible to get thru to the local office. A true reputable local company (not franchised) would never have let this happen. For this reason I will limit my future dealings with any franchised operation unless I can have direct contact with a local office.

The service technician was prompt--very courteous--he took his time in order to perform service--he left my house after having done a superb job.

Tech showed up as scheduled and finished work in a timely manner, although there is really little difference in noise level. He did tell me I needed new bearings in the wheels carrying the wire and offered to replace these and other moving parts for an additional $449, which I thought was much too expensive, so I declined.
