They did a thorough check. I called them and they came out. They did a good job and they gave me a written quote. They followed up and were eager to do the work. They showed up on time and all the good stuff. It was a free estimate. They gave me all the materials and told me what I could and couldn't do. They spent an easy 3 hours here and didn't charge me anything. They were very responsive. Everything was very good and I would use them in the future.

They were very prompt and professional. Quotes were very reasonable compared to the competition and service was performed asap!

I have been using them for a long time and they have been fine. Their quality of service is also good, but, I think they are a little expensive.

I was having problems with my AC unit not cooling the house the company got some out to look at the system. the service tech arrived on time. I explained what was wrong and he went to work and found the problem my system had been over charged with coolant he removed the excess and tuned the system and it works great. now for the first time since I purchased the house I had to turn the system off because it got too cold in the house.

It appears this company is only interested in collecting the service call fee of $89.95. With only spending a few minutes with my unit, the tech quoted me a $1100.00 bill plus a $334.00 maintenance plan. The $1100.00 bill included a $699.00 price for a filtering system. This is the report I got from the technician when I asked how much it would be to fix my unit.

The tech (Tom) arrived on time. Before entering the house, he put on disposable booties over his shoes. After a exam of the system, he told me exactly what was needed (parts & labor), told me the price, etc., before receiving my approval... It was clearly obvious that Tom was a professional, & that he (along with ARS), were aware of the current economy & were more concerned with keeping their clients (of which as I now am), rather that turning a quick buck before a hot summer. They're in it for the long run... Tom also arranged for an inspection & cleaning, 6 months from now... Since I also have a small plumbing problem (which they do also), he will be coming back on Saturday for a free inspection. (he already took a quick look at the problem, solved part of it, & will repair the rest. next time around)... I must say that having been in the service industry for 30 years, behind a bar, I'm fairly good at judging people. After knowing Tom for several hours while he was working, I felt comfortable enough to leave him alone in my home while I ran several errands... I believe if someone gives you bad service, you have every right to complain. I also believe that if someone gives you very good service, that should be noted also. I live on disability, & Tom bent over backwards to give as much as possible. With quality work, service, & pricing... So I have no qualms in highly recommending Tom & ARS...

Searched beneath the house & in the attic [in 100 degree heat] for mysterious dryer duct work (that turned out not to even exist). Moved my stacked washer + dryer set out from a ridiculously confined space and correctly attached it to the wall--this is after he assisted me in correcting an installation error made by the guys who delivered my washer/dryer. None of these things fit ARS's job description, but the workmen was capable of helping and decided to do so. He had called his boss to make sure that it was alright that they were going outside their "boundaries", and just decided to charge me the basic deductible associated with my home warranty. Very polite workman, and moved far faster than I could in such heat.

This would have cost $500 had I not had a home warranty. The service technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was with him the whole time he worked and he explained everything he was doing. I would recommend them.

ARS charged me $37 to change the air filter. When I checked on the work I saw that the air filter was not changed, there was in fact no air filter even in the unit. I called ARS and spoke to a customer service rep who told me it would cost me $80 to have a service rep come to my house and "investigate". (We debated back and forth on the phone for a bit, but it was obvious to me that the customer service reps are trained to not provide customer service, so I just let it go. I can go get a filter for $20 and be done with it.)
